make sure the water is two blocks deep around your walls....one day a zombie with a pick axe with chip straight though it if the water is too shallow
Oldman
The water is very shallow but just in case, I'm planning on making a third wall that connects the nearby hills for precautionary and expansion purposes. Too bad I can't do a proper water road without using my precious experience, my domain presents a perfect water road if used.
On New Avernia there is a sheep farm at spawn. If someone plays on the server at a location other than spawn for a significant period of time and then either goes to spawn or another player logs into spawn then the game will time forward for the fact that the sheep would have eaten grass but doesn't time forward for the fact that the grass would grow during the same period, resulting in a field of soil. After 3 to 4 days of someone being at spawn the grass recovers. (see picture below)
Bit of an XP math mistake in that a high level enchant of an Admantium tool costs less than a mithril tool and just over that of an iron tool. Not sure if the mithril cost was set too high or the adamantium is set too low.

I think it is intentional, Mithril should also have some advantages, hum?
What was the record for the earliest copper pickaxe in MITE? I've decided to do a speedrun after destroying, killing, burning, and bombing everything in my chicken world. The goal is simple, get the copper pickaxe as early as possible.
And so I have acquired the copper pickaxe before my second week, in just 13 days. Well, I did ended up starving in the end but it was worth it. Screenshots show inventory progress, you can see the deterioration by the end. What made me tilt is on my last ingot for the copper tool bench, the world decided to rain and spawn unreasonable amount of mobs on my shelter, this wasted me two days, not to mention the food wasted and the unexpected betrayal of RNGesus. In the end, I'm proud of this achievement of mine.
The seed is: "Lapis Lazuli"
You'll spawn on an extreme hills biome and chances are right off the bat you'll meet a surprisingly large amount of animals. Then continuing to go where you first faced on spawning is a mountain load of gravel, a bunch of trees in the hill that'll prep you to continue the path until you meet the plains biome. face a little bit right and there should be a stone hill. Continuing the path before the stone hill would lead to a swamp.
Merry Christmas!!!! I'm so glad that I've finally took the courage to post and share my stuff in-game in this niche community. I know I've just arrived to this forum but I've played so much MiTE before noticing this forum and up until now I am still really enjoying it even though our relationship is like an abusive boyfriend, I keep coming back no matter how much I get abused. When I finally noticed this forum, It really helped me, so thank you so much guys!
Wow Avernite, I'm so grateful for your Christmas gift.
A gift containing 3 phase spiders spawning right in front of me and raping me into oblivion. Good thing I'm already insane and used all my mental breakdowns because if I hadn't, I'm sure I'll be checking in my nearest mental hospital for a suicide check-up.
I can accept ghouls, spiders or anything for a sudden invasion spawn but 3 phase spiders.... what is hope?
2018 just started and I've achieved something really good just before passing its first week. After the copper pickaxe speedrun, I've attempted to do other speedrun with different goals with different playstyles until finally I've settled on one major speedrun goal. It's goal is simple, craft the last tier anvil, the adamantium anvil before 200 days.
AFTER MANY WORLD ATTEMPTS, I HAVE FINALLY DONE IT!
Both mithril and adamantium anvil done in less than 200 days. I *think* I have found the pattern to getting as much adamantium ores possible, I've tested it out multiple times and the result product is as shown.
So the pattern goes like this: 7 to 9 blocks distance to the first ore vein, 2 to 3 up or down before or after bedrock/adamantium ore and 6-10 blocks upwards to the first major bedrock space.(make sure its not jagged then once its flat-ish go upwards for 6 to 10 blocks until the space is mostly stone) *Another thing to note, this is done in the Underworld, the deeper the better*
Following the pattern, I've created a major branch room with 14 three-walls template branches that goes 50 blocks start-to-finish by the right side and 2 "epic caves" created with TNT by the left side. A 2nd floor was just started following the same blueprint. Not to mention the countless random branches I've made in order to reach the mantle and have access to The Nether. The minority of the adamantium that I found was via TNT, props to my looting 3 iron sword and thunderstorms, can't count how many creepers I've killed. As much as efficiency goes, I did not hesitate to invest my levels and the first adamantium I got in crafting a Efficiency V Adamantium Pickaxe. I have more luck with manual digging than TNT mining, the blowing up stuff isn't my thing when it comes to grinding, I find it more boring than digging through stone for hours eternal.
Always take advantage of the daytime of the blood moon to get an insane amount of gunpowder and xp, do not miss this opportunity! Also do not hesitate to get the best enchantments asap once you get the diamond enchantment table, don't bother with emerald and always go for the maximum enchant.
Anyways, its indeed a happy new year, just curious but what was the record for the first adamantium anvil? And what do we call the adamantium age? I can't think of any, it must have something like the Mythic Age that corresponds with Mithril. I'm just feeling so hyped right now.
Baby dogs (i.e. tamed wolves) drown in 1x1x1 water holes.
FIXES:
- All types of animal babies should know how to swim.
- Whenever a baby turn adult, the collision box should be checked and inastead of making it suffocate, just push it to the nearest valid space. After all, it was breathing just fine just before being an adult.
I have been playing this mod for the last 3 days and i really like it!
i have been struggling with food, as killing animals and collecting seeds isnt enough to get a flint axe, as i usually get killed and all my stuff is out of reach or being guarded by mobs. Any tips?
That seed is really something else ! X-Hills biome, with many animals around, tons of gravel, and lots of readily exposed Copper Veins. Right near at spawn, there is a cliff with several gravel veins, and two of those can allow you to get easy secure (albeit tiny) shelters right inside a cliff's face, but not too high, so it is easy to setup a "jump to enter" entrance.
I managed to reach the Copper Pickaxe in only 11 days without dying even once ! But I got a few close calls there lol !
Actually, it took a bit less than 11 days, because I actually finished a tiny bit past midnight of Day 10, probably somewhere between Midnight and 2 AM of the very beginning of Day 11. I could have finished way earlier near the beginning of day 10 instead if I didn't make a few mistakes, too. For example, I took way too much gravel near the end.
Image 1: Crafting a SILVER Tool Bench. This is really what will propel your progress forward the most. If you craft a copper tool bench instead, you'll have to grind gravel until you accumulate 36 Copper Nuggets. With the silver one, by the time you reach 27 Copper Nuggets, you probably already have your Silver bench. So keep your silver for the bench, you can probably shave off several days that way.
Image 2: Sweeeeet copper pickaxe crafting time !
Image 3: Standing in my super-tiny "cliff face shelter" entrance with my brand new copper pickaxe.
Image 4: The same, but I brightened the image.
Some Tricks & Tactics:
- Not bothering with seeds at all.
- Nearly all the wood goes to wooden shovels.
- Make 4 bowls with 1st hatchet then slowly go all the way up to 16 bowls (to milk cows).
- Making a small clay oven early will pay off. That is the only one I made.à
- Before oven, eat steak 1st, keep less meat for cooking later.
- Keep only as many "nearly spent wooden shovels" as you will need to cook meat, fully break the rest.
- A club can be very useful. Saved my life vs a skeleton, and jump-one-hit-crit on chickens makes killing them a snap.

It's strange, isn't it?

"villages being either abandoned or inhabited by zombie villagers?" That's going to make the game more interesting... :-)

Sorry about the production speed, but I am really busy right now.

New Year, We still looking forward to the new version of MITE release
By the way, MITE R3D v0.7 is finished and will be sent to dropbox later. hurrah!

Any fixes for this?
Look at the last paragraph on this forum page.

MITE R42——The oldest version of my collection.
does anyone have a full list of recipes? i cant find the recipe for the crafting benches, im trying to craft a flint one but dont know the pattern
Yup! Right here. Courtesy of Knoxx and his Public Server.
Thank you so much!
uh, it says the flint axe needs sinew to craft? is this on another version or something?
