Hey everyone, just a small update, I know that V4.0 only just got released but I have been hard at work on the shader and V4.1 is coming along quite quickly with a few minor changes and bug fixes
I will post some pictures soon but here are a few of the changes:
* changes to bloom, bloom is now mainly centered on torches/glowstones and not as present on all terrain
* toned down the rain fog a little bit as it was a little over done
* small change to clouds when its raining, more visible
* fixed the bug with stained glass as before the sky was black when looking through the glass and now is more clear
* small change to the dirty lens effect on torches/glowstones
So when trying to run Stazza85's Super Shader, a full on crash takes place. Minecraft remains open and I am still able to play the game, but I get the message in chat that shows that all of the files are invaild. I looked more into the issue and read that the Minecraft log would be able to go more in detail about what's going on as it's trying to initialize the shader. Help?

are your video card drivers up to date? this can cause problems, also what version of minecraft are you using? last are you playing on a server or single player world, if its on a server try playing in single player and see if it works oh and if you have any other mods on turn them all off except the shaders mod and optifine and see if it works if all of these dont work let me know.
EDIT* after a little research I found that the video card you have is really quite old and under powered, have you tried my Super LITE Shader version?

Drivers up-to-date. I've tested 1.6.4-1.8. I've tested both singleplayer and server. Never been any other mods in these tests. Don't have Optifine installed at the moment.

I have tried your previous v3.3, v4.0, and LITE 1.0 versions. OptiFine made no difference. All other shaders seem to work just fine. (image below

Sorry about the delay as I have been fixing a few bugs here and there and just lack of time has slowed the release, not to mention that I have been putting a lot of time into my other non-official shader SEUS Complete.
Here are the changes, bug fixes, and new features to expect

* Added Variable Penumbra Shadows
* Toned down the rain fog
* Increased Cloud brightness during the rain as well as a few changes in general to the clouds
* New Bloom on surfaces and to the torches/glowstones
* Changes to the torch brightness at different times of day and weather
* Small change to the Colour of the torches
* Toned down the grey reflective light on water when raining
* Improved Look for specular effect when raining

are you having any problems with any other shaders? you could check out the other shader that im involved in making called Continuum.
other thing I could suggest is to update forge to 1487 and change optifine to OptiFine_1.8.0_HD_U_D5, or you could try the new optifine that has shaders mod inbuilt and is compatible with minecraft version 1.8.8

This is the only shader to do this - and it happens in every version of MineCraft (with, or without OptiFine). I was able to speak with the shader developer a little while back and we couldn't get to a conclusion.
If it helps, I have the latest drivers for my card and OS - FGLRX 15.9 and Elementary OS, respectively. I would really appreciate your time to help me possibly solve this solution.
Hey everyone, just a small update, I know that V4.0 only just got released but I have been hard at work on the shader and V4.1 is coming along quite quickly with a few minor changes and bug fixes
I will post some pictures soon but here are a few of the changes:
* changes to bloom, bloom is now mainly centered on torches/glowstones and not as present on all terrain
* toned down the rain fog a little bit as it was a little over done
* small change to clouds when its raining, more visible
* fixed the bug with stained glass as before the sky was black when looking through the glass and now is more clear
* small change to the dirty lens effect on torches/glowstones
* small lighting change to the torches
this new update will be out in the coming weeks.

Super Shaders V4.1 ETA release end of June.
(Posted this on Shader's mod forum as well)
So when trying to run Stazza85's Super Shader, a full on crash takes place. Minecraft remains open and I am still able to play the game, but I get the message in chat that shows that all of the files are invaild. I looked more into the issue and read that the Minecraft log would be able to go more in detail about what's going on as it's trying to initialize the shader. Help?

are your video card drivers up to date? this can cause problems, also what version of minecraft are you using? last are you playing on a server or single player world, if its on a server try playing in single player and see if it works oh and if you have any other mods on turn them all off except the shaders mod and optifine and see if it works if all of these dont work let me know.
EDIT* after a little research I found that the video card you have is really quite old and under powered, have you tried my Super LITE Shader version?
Drivers up-to-date. I've tested 1.6.4-1.8. I've tested both singleplayer and server. Never been any other mods in these tests. Don't have Optifine installed at the moment.
ok try it again with optifine and see if that helps, is it just my shader that you have problems with or does this happen with other shaders? also what versions of my shader are you using?
I have tried your previous v3.3, v4.0, and LITE 1.0 versions. OptiFine made no difference. All other shaders seem to work just fine. (image below
have you tried Super Shaders V4 standard? not the Standard Plus version?
if you have try this, open final.fsh and go to lines 1220 and comment out these:

//color.g = pow(color.g, 1.1);
//color.b = pow(color.b, 1.1);

and see if that helps, some cards and mainly the older ones dont like the splitting of colours.

Sorry about the delay as I have been fixing a few bugs here and there and just lack of time has slowed the release, not to mention that I have been putting a lot of time into my other non-official shader SEUS Complete.
Here are the changes, bug fixes, and new features to expect

* Added Variable Penumbra Shadows
* Toned down the rain fog
* Increased Cloud brightness during the rain as well as a few changes in general to the clouds
* New Bloom on surfaces and to the torches/glowstones
* Changes to the torch brightness at different times of day and weather
* Small change to the Colour of the torches
* Toned down the grey reflective light on water when raining
* Improved Look for specular effect when raining
Bug Fixes:
* Fixed the transition bug with water when going from clear to rain
* Kinda Fixed the black sky when looking through stained glass
Hopefully everything goes smoothly with V4.1 and that I can manage to get it out tomorrow

Can you make a pack that only has the procedural clouds and no other features, and that works with Intel? My computer doesn't work with any of the features except the waving plants, and I just want those clouds Please? I don't need the shadows or the reflecting water, I just want the clouds. Remember, INTEL.

are you having any problems with any other shaders? you could check out the other shader that im involved in making called Continuum.
other thing I could suggest is to update forge to 1487 and change optifine to OptiFine_1.8.0_HD_U_D5, or you could try the new optifine that has shaders mod inbuilt and is compatible with minecraft version 1.8.8
