This is the Beta 4 test as I couldn't find the Alpha.
Red lines are still there. Not a dof issues. I tested with both on and off before and same result. Not rly a fan of dof myself. I'm wondering if it is something in your lighting and how it reacts to the sky behind it. Maybe your new alpha version will have it fixed since your using some new stuff. Fingers crossed.
Endermen blocks no longer glow but are discoloured. I'm assuming its adding the colour of the light to the block or something. That is sand they are holding btw from chroma hills.
Alright so I found the Alpha.....I swear it wasn't in the post when I looked last.
So everything looks great even the dof is better except the damn red lines. The only thing I can think of is it is something in your lighting system and how it reacts to the sky that doesn't happen in Chocapic13's. Now I did notice something that might or might not help but during a downfall the red lines are there except vary faint. I can only assume they are there during the normal day also but so faint I can't really notice them.
Really hoping you can figure this out as I prefer the look of your shader over Chocapic13's otherwise.
[Edit]
Hope this helps
A new things I noticed that happens in all of your shader version and not in Chocapic13's. Yours kind of bends the light around the block at edges where as Chocapic13's just completely shades the back of the block instead. I am thinking that this may be connected to the red line issue that I have been getting.

Glad you like my shader unfortunately i cant reproduce the red line bug in my shader and i have tested it on my laptop running a i7 3630qm 2,4GHz
and a AMD radeon HD 7600m using Catalyst driver 14.4 driver.
if you could help me out by making a copy of my shader and download chocapic's 4.7.1 shader and try replacing composite.fsh in my shader with chocapic's and see if the red line goes away, if not replace the composite.fsh file from my original shader and try replacing composite1.fsh file and see if it goes away then, if not then do the same with the final.fsh file and let me know how you get on.
only asking you do this so i can isolate where this bug may be coming from since i cant reproduce the bug and makes it almost impossible to fix.
With the Endermen blocks, i have noticed that they are discoloured and i dont think that im going to get this problem looking much better than it does now :-/ but i still think that its an improvement over how it was.
Oh and here is a little preview of the next version using chocapic'2 4.8 shader as a base, and the results are better than i expected
just a comparison to SEUS
Alrighty so update on the red line bug. It is located in the composite.fsh but as of updating my drivers to the latest beta that VertizoPL suggested the bug is gone. I was on 14.4 previously. I would help you find out more for the red lines for others but I'd rather not downgrade my drivers back. So thanks for all the hard work trying to squash that bug and keep up the awesome work with the shader.
PS.
You may want to shadowMapResolution to 4096 or even 6144 if you computer can handle it. Much prettier shadows.
PS2.
So this is just a suggestion which i think would be very nice visually if you are able to. Ok so here it is.
When you are underwater the water is currently pretty hard to see out of. So if you made it so that when under water the alpha value changes to something like 0.4 and then when above the water you could even make the alpha a little higher now like 0.85 I think looked good.
PS3.
I had to put SUNLIGHTAMOUNT to default value otherwise orange and yellow wool look the same when the sun is full blast on them. 5.0 is just too much.
PS4.
I need to stop adding to this post. This is just filler now so that I have all playstation generations

i will be making several versions once I have tested everything out and have it ready for full release, so there will be an ultra version that will have the shadowMapResolution set to something like 4096 or 5120, wouldnt want to go to much higher because your frame rate will drop to much and i feel as though wasting fps on shadows isnt the best for gameplay. ps. glad that updating your drivers solved the red line bug strange that you had the same driver as my laptop but i wasnt getting the bug.
Umm, idk if the issue has been resolved yet, because I haven't been keeping track of the replies but I'm using Beta 4 for AMD users and the red outline is still present, however the black cutout is gone

try downloading my latest shader "Super Shaders V3 ALPHA" as thats the latest and also download 14.7 beta driver for your AMD video card and that should fix the red line bug as others have reported ( I take it your driver version is 14.4? )
Um I have a problem, when I click on super shaders and it's so laggy, I can't even move, I am using Mac 8 GB RAM. Is there a way to fix this?
unfortunately your going to have to wait till i make a lite version as that macs are not that powerful, you could try Super Shaders V2 - Liteand see how you go with this version.
Super Shaders V3 BETA is nearing completion i have managed to fix a problem with the rain lens that has been bugging me for a while as that before i could only have the wave/blur effect either on the rain drops on the screen or have the effect for under water, but now i have the effect on both
Super Shaders V3 BETA is using Chocapic's 4.8 as a base, some of the new features are:
* Fixed sunset/sunrise bug from previous version
* Better lighting and colours
* Wave/blur effect on lens rain drops as well as wave effect under water
* Darker Nights ( cant really change this bacuse of chocapics fix for the sunrise bug he has told me that this will be fixed in his next release )
* Cloud reflections in water
* better fps than previous version
I hope to have Super Shaders V3 BETA out in the next week or so.

Ok thank you very much, so lite version would not have that many features such as rain reflections?

Downloading the latest beta drivers from amd and that should fix the issue. At least it did for me.
Ah, I tried v2 lite and it says invalid composite.1. And it seems laggy too, i am using Mac but my Mac can handle Sildurs 1.051, and MrMeep's tho. Why?

Mac's are not really meant for gaming, I know sildurs shaders have a mac capable version as that i think he has a mac that he can test his shaders on as I dont own a mac so i cant test my shader out. I have a New BETA Version that im releasing today, you could try this version and see if it works, although i would say it will be VERY laggy BUT if it works you will have to wait till i make a lite version that should be coming out in the next week or 2.

I feel like I m the worst luck person ever, first I tried to use SEUS, it didn't work, this time I trying to use the similar one which is yours, I still can't use it! God help me! I should have bought an Alienware.
G'day dude, I signed up just to say that your shaders are epic. Nearly no performance hit and looks great. Your POM works really well too, I've had major drama's with SEUS' but yours works no drama's.
They now grow and shrink over the course of the day/night to make them look more lively
cant see in pic, just thought i would add it
