Hey, I did a review of your awesome mod, could you feature it?
Author's Notes
I will be continuing to update UsefulCraft in Version 1.6.4, 1.7, and so on
-Config will be added to both versions in the next update this is my first priority
as of now. (This might take me a while...XD)
Big Note: I am currently in the process of setting up and transferring everything over
to a new custom computer I built, so that's going to add to the delay of everything
just saying, just enjoy the mod how it is for now and have fun!

Mod Info
This is just basic info about the mod and how it works, how it's setup and changes I might implement in the future
1. This Mod does not edit ANY base class files, so
that it should be compatible with any other Forge Mod
2. This Mod is a Forge Mod, therefore needs minecraft forge to be installed in order for it to used properly.
3. This Mod is meant to be a single player mod and might work
on servers, however I have not tested this so I don't recommend it.

I have no intention of using your mod, just clicking around in the mods forum. However, some advice.
The blaze rod recipe is highly exploitable when combined with some of the most popular tech mods. Most of these tech mods add in a way to crush blaze rods into blaze powder, usually in a ratio better than 1:2. Reintroducing the 2 powder for 1 rod recipe that these mods did away with reintroduces an infinite energy exploit.
Same goes for bonemeal but that's not quite as much of an issue.
Easy option if you want to leave them in is to have a config file in which the player can enable or disable recipes.

Thanks for the advice and truthfully I made this mod to be used however the user wants to use it. If they want to exploit it by all means, but I see your point. Thanks. I'll try to add a config later on.
Does this mod actually have a config file? Because I can't seem to find one, and I can't resolve ID conflicts if there isn't a config to change them with.

No currently this mod doesn't have a config file. Right now I'm in the process of getting this mod fully
updated to the current minecraft release, then after that I'll add what I find suitable. Ex. Config, more
recipes, blocks, etc. After that I might backtrack and make an updated version for the 1.6.4 version as I
know many users use it with other 1.6.4 mods as well, but right now I'm making it a priority to update this mod to 1.7. Also, I have a lot of other things going on right now so this all might take a while to get
done. Sorry if you can't use the mode in it's current state
No really, This ''add crafting recipes for vanilla items'' thing is just something all starters do.
No offence.
What i do have to say positive: Your thread is pretty well done compared to others.
Also why don't you create iron rings or something to make chainmail.

No offence taken. Very well, but the point of this mod is just for me as personal project of mine. I have
more planned for this mod, but the hard part is implementing it. I am a self taught novice coder and if
people find my work useful in any way I will keep it going. Also, if you have looked through the mod
carefully enough, there is already a way to make chain mail. Everything that is in this mod I have carefully thought out and is in there for a reason, depends if the user can find it or not :). Thanks for the
compliment, I spent a lot of time on the post. Fyi everyone has to start somewhere, so this is my start.
Fire is the answer to your question.
The point of iron rings, is that using fire is retarded, and broken. Some modders add in iron rings, others use a mix of iron and leather to avoid adding in new items.
I really hope you backport the config file version to 1.6.4 once you make it. There are several mods that do things like this, but none of the others that I've seen have the compressed storage blocks. Sadly, the other mods that have recipes do other things I need, so I can't just throw them out to use this instead.

I will continue to update versions in which other mods are currently used in. At this moment it is 1.7.x and1.6.4. I will be trying(hopefully succeeding) in adding a configuration to recipes, blocks, and spawn eggs
in both. At the moment I won't add in Iron Rings unless they are wanted by popular demand. Thanks and there will be more storage blocks to come in the future

I have others mods installed Maybe an ID conflict ? I try to change the ID of the cocoa block but there's not a .cfg file :/
Sorry for my bad english i'm french guy
Your english is fine. Currently I really can't fix the mod since I'm migrating computers, but in an update sometime in the future I will add a config file so I recommend either changing the other mod's block id or just wait til I release a patch. That's the best I can give you right now.

Sorry for the delay of version 1.0, but my new computer doesn't seem to be responding well with eclipse and the old source. I have re-written the mod from the ground up and sadly it's done no good. I know I haven't responded or updated anything in the past while and I apologize for that. In the mean time suggestions and advice would be awesome for the next update. Thanks and I'm gonna sort this out, but until then have fun with the current version
