just looks awesome (imo better than seus) will be interesting if i port my shader to the next stable version and now i got some new wallpapers
would be nice if you upload this map because it looks some kind of epic
I have a problem with your V3 shaderpacks, I know V4 is out but maybe you or others know the answer.
So a few days ago I updated my graphics driver (AMD 13.3 to 14.4) and now all V3 shaderpacks turn black after selecting them, Minecraft doesn't crash it just shows a black screen, I just need to select any other pack to fix it.
(Your V4 packs and any other shaderpack works just fine)
I know my graphics card is not the problem because it never happened before
Is there any way of fixing it? I was wondering if changing the code would help?
I'm just a noob at this, correct me if I'm wrong.
Sorry, I don't know from where the problem can come from. Downgrade drivers or just use V4
I'm glad you take my point, so i'm waiting for this (if you do, post it on your rre36 shader, i'm following it)
of course i'll do this but first i have to improve my seus v8 remake
and probably i will just take some functions of next chocapic13 version until there is an version with normal mapping/pom support and speculars
and i've seen you in the follower list
OS: Windows 8.1
Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 7520G + 7600M
MC Version: 1.7.x
It doesn't work on any of the 1.7 versions.
- 1.7.2 with forge and optifine
- 1.7.5 optifine
- 1.7.9 optifine
I'm running Minecraft on 2GB ram.
i've read amds informations and changelogs,
they've got problems with minecraft compatibility
one beta version was completly incompatible with minecraft because of the mantle api
This is not made for gameplay because night and raining lighting don't work correctly, there's flashing ambient light sometimes and framerate is not that good.
PS : I just noticed that the 4th version of my shaders now have over 100 000 downloads!

Hi Chocapic. The new version looks awsome! As Jacke_00 stated in an earlier post, people on mac gets the same error as in v4.4.
Here is my log, it seems to be the same problem as last time:

I hope that the new changes doesn't mean that it wont be supported by mac computers anymore.
I may have a workaround for mac users. Try replacing "#version 120" by "#version 130" in composite/composite1/2/final.fsh and .vsh then send me the error log if it don't work (the problem can be solved but another one can appear instead). I will remove the texture2DLod function if i can't solve the problem.
Hey there chocapic, is there any possibility you, or anyone for that matter, could point me in the right direction as to how to disable waving elements? They give me motion sickness and cause my sinuses to go haywire.
Been poking around the files but in all honesty I don't really understand much of the code.
edit: It should be noted disabling trees/grass/etc is pretty straight foward however disabling waves essentially disables all effects on water and leaves you with something that drastically stands out.

Hi HellishINC.
I completely follow you on the waving part. I don't get motion sickness but I think all shaders that have the waving implemented, makes it wave way to much. So in my case I tone it down, but it is easy to turn it completely off as well:
Since you say you have been poking around in the files I take it that you have found yourself a program that can edit these files. Win: Notepad or Note++, Mac: TextEdit or TextWrangler.
1. Open up gbuffers_terrain.vsh
2. In line 12-19, you will find:
#define WAVING_LEAVES
//#define WAVING_VINES
#define WAVING_GRASS
#define WAVING_WHEAT
#define WAVING_FLOWERS
#define WAVING_FIRE
#define WAVING_LAVA
#define WAVING_LILYPAD
3. This means that the shader is waving everything EXCEPT vines (because of the //).
4. So to turn of any of the other entities that are waving just add // in front of the line.
5. Save
6. Enjoy motion sickness-free minecraft gaming with amazing detalis.
7. Share the love
Love your shaders =)
I do have a question though.
I didn't read through every page of this thread, so I'm sorry if this has been asked already, but is there a way to change the blue lines around the block my cursor rests on?? I'd like to change it back to black, the blue stands out too much for me. Unfortunately I know very little about code D:
I've been having a major problem with any shaders mod I install because of my Intel HD graphics card. I cannot for the LIFE of my figure out how to get them to run properly. Here's my entire crash log, hopefully you can find something within it to point me in the right direction: http://pastebin.com/uJyL0CiR
New test version : http://www.mediafire...13_Beta_4.6.zip
-Correct night and rain lighting.
-Mac and intel gpu currently not supported, I will try to fix it.
-Should run a bit faster.
-Fixed depth of field.
Do you have an invalid program error and does the black part is moving on the screen?
no error and the black part stays to the opposite side of the sun
ok, that's a bit difficult
just tell me your os, graphics card and mc version
i am trying to get acces to my amd card (it's lying around somewhere...)
The map is eldaria by aurelien sama.
Sorry, I don't know from where the problem can come from. Downgrade drivers or just use V4

PS : I just noticed that the 4th version of my shaders now have over 100 000 downloads!
But it's probably just caused by my halfdead GTX 560 I guess. (It seems to work fine on a GTX 580)
PS: Setting advanced opengl to fast reduces it a bit.

i think it's an amd bug because i tested the v4.6 and the error appears only on my radeon 7870 but not on my gtx 780ti
