try removing animation API, it MIGHT be conflicting with it in such a way as making Custom Steve crash but not listing any info against itself. it's worth a shot.

Thus i decide to try out the previous version: 1.21, the model interface did appear as i press the k button.
However it crashes as i try to load the model.
But since the 1.21 vesion works, I'll assume something is wrong with the 1.3.0 jar that is for download, that it will not work properly as the controls for the mod should have appear, but didn't appear within the control menu.

the issue with 1.21 is for some reason it requires identical Custom Steve folders in both the mods folder AND the main .minecraft folder at the same time with identical content. it's really weird, also I am running 1.3.0 and it's working fine for me, I even managed to add an InuYasha model to it using sakuya's animations (which look just plain odd).

Try putting the CustomSteve folder and .jar into both the mods folder and .minecraft folder for 1.21, it did not work.
What forge version are you running? There might be something with that. I have 1.7.10 - 10.13.4.1614.

I have this crash report. My mods folder contains the folder, the jar, renderplayer api, and renderplayer enhancer. When I press K the menu does not show up and I got the crash when I go to third-person. When I do go to third-person it just says loading and crashes, please help me.
Is there anyway to get into contact with the mod author? MMD models have become a bit advanced there are new files such as .sph, .spa and some Reflection textures. I was wanting to know if these are gonna be adressed in a future update or are they not even planned to be used? These files are needed so the model renders how it would in MMD.
I have a question, the current models in the 1.3 beta, have first person view textures. I wanted to know how to do this with other models? I successfully put other models into the game, but their first person is still steve hands. If anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated
The menu doesnt show even if i pressed k and controls of this mod doesnt show up in the options. Also i cant load any models so everytime i press F3 or E it crashed. Can someone help me? Already Googled it and cant find the solution. Is it because it's not compatible with windows 10?

The last few years you updated this mod compatible to OS X and Linux and I really enjoyed it. Yet, how come the recent updates as to 1.3.0...., it will always shows an error every time we observing ourselves. To addition, it doesn't show up the model so it crashes the whole game. Sorry I'm on OS X and Linux user, but I really appreciate if you made the recent versions compatible with OS X and Linux.

So question to wonderful people, I'm trying to get the bones and rigging of one model on top of another model, is there anything special I have to do to get this work? I've deleted all the material of the known rigged model and overlaying the material of the new model over top but that doesn't seem to work at all. Thanks for any help!

401 model not found? I THINK I've had that issue before with a friend on mine over the net using the server version. for some reason the model textures cannot be loaded or something to that effect so it just shows a transparent rectangle where the character should be. i've never figured this out myself but perhaps with that description maybe someone can figure it out.

I have try this 1.21 version with and without the animation API, but every time i try to load in the model, it crashes.
I will look for the solution within this forum, since the version has been around.
But if you provide the solution to me now, I'll greatly appreciate it.
the issue with 1.21 is for some reason it requires identical Custom Steve folders in both the mods folder AND the main .minecraft folder at the same time with identical content. it's really weird, also I am running 1.3.0 and it's working fine for me, I even managed to add an InuYasha model to it using sakuya's animations (which look just plain odd).

Try putting the CustomSteve folder and .jar into both the mods folder and .minecraft folder for 1.21, it did not work.
What forge version are you running? There might be something with that. I have 1.7.10 - 10.13.4.1614.

I have this crash report. My mods folder contains the folder, the jar, renderplayer api, and renderplayer enhancer. When I press K the menu does not show up and I got the crash when I go to third-person. When I do go to third-person it just says loading and crashes, please help me.
Is there anyway to get into contact with the mod author? MMD models have become a bit advanced there are new files such as .sph, .spa and some Reflection textures. I was wanting to know if these are gonna be adressed in a future update or are they not even planned to be used? These files are needed so the model renders how it would in MMD.
Tell me, how sdelatat first-person view for your model? Body and more. To display units and weapons in their hands? On the downloaded models.

only if you get pre 1.3.0, there is a server version pre 1.3.0 BUT it only works in a windows enviroment, it will not work on linux or macOS.

thatd gon be a problem with my current server.... i noticed that 1.3.0 Is quite crashsensitive.. and even more glitchy/buggy
overall its an epic mod
I have a question, the current models in the 1.3 beta, have first person view textures. I wanted to know how to do this with other models? I successfully put other models into the game, but their first person is still steve hands. If anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated
I got a really weird bug.
The menu doesnt show even if i pressed k and controls of this mod doesnt show up in the options. Also i cant load any models so everytime i press F3 or E it crashed. Can someone help me? Already Googled it and cant find the solution. Is it because it's not compatible with windows 10?
Edit: Tried older version, NO MODEL LOADED, but no crashes....
The last few years you updated this mod compatible to OS X and Linux and I really enjoyed it. Yet, how come the recent updates as to 1.3.0...., it will always shows an error every time we observing ourselves. To addition, it doesn't show up the model so it crashes the whole game. Sorry I'm on OS X and Linux user, but I really appreciate if you made the recent versions compatible with OS X and Linux.

Boy. looks like its gonna start all over again.
The last version of the mod is kinda workin. but when i open the world it doesnt work.
So question to wonderful people, I'm trying to get the bones and rigging of one model on top of another model, is there anything special I have to do to get this work? I've deleted all the material of the known rigged model and overlaying the material of the new model over top but that doesn't seem to work at all. Thanks for any help!

Curse Premiumlol guess maybe I should make a request thread pm your model and ill see about getting first person fixed if possible, also I got a new model and had a 401 error anyone know what that means?
401 model not found? I THINK I've had that issue before with a friend on mine over the net using the server version. for some reason the model textures cannot be loaded or something to that effect so it just shows a transparent rectangle where the character should be. i've never figured this out myself but perhaps with that description maybe someone can figure it out.
