aww, that sucks that it's dead, do you know where I can go to see info on how the game is developing? The main thing I saw that really got me giddy were those little box/rock thingies and that really badash tree that was flat and had little wormy/grass thingies ontop of it. I'm trying to think of an excuse to get those into either Beekeeping, Peaceful, or something esle. maybe you could "grow" ender pearls off the cool tree, but it grows upside down in the End? and maybe the little rocks can be cracked open and be full of slime? just something to have an excuse to get them in to the game because their awesome!

I think there should be different types of bees like honeybees and wasps and like diff species that give diff things, wasps could give poison or something. Just seems that beekeeping needs more to it.

Beekeeping isn't done yet.
I wasn't planning on adding different types of bees though.
If you can give more suggestions with ideas that won't bloat the mod, and will actually add more game-play value, I'm open!
Well if not more bees than how about a bee boss. Would be cool to fight off a giant queen bee and get Idk a Swarm staff that summons a swarm of bees onto an enemy. Just an idea

That would be pretty neat.
The core 'belief' of this pack is to make everything sort of vanilla themed. I try to only add things that you could imagine in vanilla minecraft. (with a few exceptions of course)
So I don't think it would quite fit...

I had an Idea, when I was looking at the pictures for you bee keeping mod, I saw the swarm of bee's and though "Oh, my, god... he actually has little swarms of bee's that come out of the apiaries to collect pollen..." then I was dissapointed to find out that the swarms are from breaking a hive... But to my idea: you should make it so there ARE swarms that fly out and collect pollen (maybe more flowers around the bee's make production of honey faster?). and instead of them being a tornado of bees, it could be a little cluster of maybe 4-9, depending on how many larva combs there are in the box. And I kinda agree with Sayomi_Inoue, you should add different types of bees, but nothing like Forestry. I agree with his idea of wasps, that either live in a mud (or in vanilla sense, clay) hives near water and will attack you if you get within 5 blocks. But there should also be a "True Honey Bee", a bee mob type of thing that rarely spawns that you can tame and have as a pet, it would act similar to a cow, but can be tamed like a wolf or an ocelot! To tame a "True Honey Bee" you need to feed it the little honey drop things, and once its tamed you can right click it with some string and tie a little string around its neck so you can pull it along. Then just right click an apiary and the Bee will always stay near it, letting you "milk" it every now and again for a bucket of honey, which can be pressed into a "Pure Honey Block", which emits a light level similar to a redstone torch.
Onto another species of bee, the "Blood Bee". The Blood Bee's live in the nether, and attack on sight. They pick on zombie pig men, stinging them and running off, and kill ghasts, harvesting them for their tears. So if you see a blood bee hive, make sure you have a full apiary suit on, and I don't think a smoker would work on these bees... they do live in the Nether... Blood Bee's will produce Ghast tears and Ghast honey, which when ingested gives the user fire resistance for 2 mins, blindness for 30 seconds, and jump boost 2 for 1 minute. And if you wanna throw in a bit of compatability, you can maybe make the Ghast eggs craftable with 3 ghast tears down the middle with paper on the sides, giving you a Ghast egg. If you place a few Ghast eggs near a Blood Apiary (crafted with blood combs, I can't remember the recipy of the top of my head, but you could find a spot), they will produce Ghast tears/honey a bit quicker.
And just because it wouldn't be fair to leave out the one dimension everyone didn't see coming because they thought it was going to be something that they wanted and thought would be awesome, The End if you didn't know, Ender Bees. Ender Bee's do nothing but buzz around their hive, attacking anything that isn't an enderman, so a golden apiary suit is needed to aproch these deadly bees. Ender bee's thru will power alone create enderpearls and ender honey, tho it takes a really really long time. Ender Bee's must be kept near their "home", seeing as how it takes a long time to get to a stronghold and back to your base just to harvest from these guys, you can place endstone around them (similar to an enchantment area, but with a roof and a floor) to keep them happy and unaware that they no longer live in their realm outside of realms. Ender honey can pressed into Ender Honey Blocks, which give off an eery glow, with a light level of 3 that extends for several blocks. Imagine a piece of glowstone that only produces a light level of a redstone torch, but has the reach of a block of glowstone, 4 blocks of level 7 light, and the rest fades to 0. When Ender Honey is eaten, it teleports the player in a compleatly random direction, even into solid blocks, so be carefull. It also has a 0.2% chance of teleporting the player directly into the end, but a new one, with a new Ender-Dragon! so be carefull when eating this amazing stuff, because you just might want to with a regeneration 3 buff for 2 minutes, and a resistance 2 buff for 1 minute! (warning! if you do teleport into the end, you will get the oposide of these effects, poison 3 for 30 seconds, and weakness 2 for 10 seconds).
if you wanna look those over and let me know what 'cha think, I know you'll probably say no, because their a bit to "moddy" and not "vanilla" enough, but just keep it in mind for some fun!
I like the idea of bees collecting the pollen!
I'm not too sure about the True Honey Bee, it seems rather unnecessary and bloaty.
The ideas on the nether and ender bees are pretty neat, some things seem a little bit complex and strange, but I like the general idea.
I may implement a sort of bee type system. I'm not too sure yet though. I will keep these ideas in mind if I do!
You said you're waiting until 1.7 to do the airships, but what about rope? That's the thing I got the most use out of from the original Amazopack.
I have actually already updated everything to 1.7, I will probably release it some time soon.
I need to figure out the new packet system in 1.7 before I start on the airships, they were quite buggy with my inadequate knowledge of how packets worked back in the amazopack.
I will probably add rope back too, I'm not sure what else I would add to the module though. Not sure whether or not to make it the only thing in a module or not.
Finally back from home in Europe, and excited to be back to this mod. Calebmanly you might not remember me from the Amazopack mod, but hopefully i will be able to make suggestions just like I used to do for you in the past.

finally someone with some sense on how to balance mods... and not every content mod needs a billion redundant extra armor and tool tiers.
so far the peaceful pack and beekeeping are looking very well thought out without any annoying spam items
i do have one request, i guess it's a rather tall order. but when you work on the airships, could you return the GUI and inventory? that's the thing i miss most from pchan's airship, how you could actually interact with the ship, use it for cargo transport and had a more immersive experience, having to monitor your fuel and feed the furnace periodically. all the various reboots these days just eat the coal from your inventory and act like a flying boat, rather than offering something unique and balanced
a lot of people argued that the cargo carrying capacity was poorly balanced... but we have pack mules now, rendering that excuse moot

Hello. I really like your mod! Its really good and I was happy to see it updated from the Amazo pack. However, I don't know if I have messed up doing something that is my fault or something else is wrong but...I have not found any beehives at all.
I could not find any bee hives in my survival so I went into creative on another world and downloaded Single player commands and world edit (I did not have these before creating the survival world) and went about searching the world for a hive but I could not find one. Are they really that rare or are they just not spawning? Please help I really like this mod and really want to find some bees. I also have TMI and can spawn in beehives, break them and get a queen but that would be annoying if I had to cheat. I also could not find flax (If that is in the mod still).
Thanks.
Hmm, strange.
The beehives and flax are rare, but you should still be able to find them...
I can't remember if I added an option in the config to alter the spawn rate, check that?
They post updates here: https://twitter.com/PlayOtherworld
I dont know, peaceful is sort of complete... :/

There are ender clams that spawn at the depths of the ocean. When you break them they drop ender pearls.

I have a new account called "Mushroomsock" now, so please do not send me PMs.
That's the plan!

I'm glad.
