I've been using UBC beta16 on MC 1.10.2 for a while, no problems till today. I got one of those no ID blocks (the two color cubes that indicate an unregistered block). See the images below.
How I got this? I created gneiss cobblestone slabs that looked normal, used them, had a placement problem, and broke a slab. The created slabs were fine, the broken ones show up wrong.
I then upgraded to UndergroundBiomesConstructs-1.10-1.0.v.19, created new slabs, placed them, and then broke them. Same result for both the previous and newly created gneiss cobblestone slabs.

EDIT: I just thought of it, I placed one of these bad looking slabs in position and they end up looking right when placed. The last image give you a look at the result (while I'm holding the others).
hey guys have a bit of an issue. i really like the mod textures, but it seems to inhibit gregtech ore gen. can the mod creator explain how this mod effects worldgen from other mods?
also, is there a way for me to make it so that underground biomes rock types are in veins instead of comprising the entire rock structure?

I am using the newest 1.7.10 version of this, because the other geology mods either don't work, look ugly, or change the game play. (BetterGeo isn't fun to build with because the textures are ugly, Mineralogy is ugly, and conflicts with Project Red World and causes basalt volcanoes to cover the entire map, and GeoStrata borks the whole game)
But when I installed it, I seem to be getting a lot of illegal exception crashes? Once the game begins to crash the map is often screwed and will continue to crash every time the world is loaded in. This has been fairly consistant, and had stopped when I removed the mod, but I put it back in because I thought it was the best looking geology mod out there.
Is there a plan to update this any further for 1.7.10? I haven't upgraded any further because most of my favorite mods are for 1.7.10 and aren't on newer versions.
It's seeing things like this that make me wonder why I moved on to 1.12. Why did I leave 1.7.10? I could have just tweaked the existing pack to keep it interesting. I could still...
I would like to contribute to the process of porting this mod to 1.12, but I can't find a source repository for the 1.11.2 version. Is it open-source? This one is out of date.

UBC Ore Reg still doesn't work.
What exactly doesn't work? It worked fine for the Thermal Foundation ores.

Iv'e noticed this happening when you mine a slab placed on the top half of the block, bottom half blocks behave normally.
is there a config option to disable the stone nugget drops?

The usual reason is that UBC replaces the stone with its own stones and other mods don't recognize it. Not sure what the Gregtech issue is.

No plans to update but post a spoilered crashlog and I'll look at it. Most likely it's a mod conflict, actually.

If it's in the server mod folder, it should just work. If not, it's a bug, and post some spoilered log files.
