It's just this thread, and not the mod, that'll die, unless the number of turned backs this forum sees starting next week changes anything, in which case hopefully we don't have to go anywhere. If not, just hop on PlanetMinecraft with us. coolAlias has a lot planned for this mod, so I really don't see it dying in the long run. As long as y'all keep supporting us, we'll try to keep the updates coming
See ya elsewhere CoolAlias! The forum thread here had a good run. I know I got some serious mileage out of ZSS when I did my Solitarycraft+ run and will gladly return to it some day.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
If regular is Vanilla then what flavor is your Minecraft?
Do you think it'd be a good idea to assign different keys for the Ocarina and the combat controls? Like I usually assign my Z-Target to Mouse Button 3 and Switch Target, and Parry, to the thumb buttons.
However, when I assign these, I cannot play the ocarina without reassigning the parry key back to its original place. Can you find a way to remedy this because I find the mouse as a convienient way to parry, switch targets and z-target.
Edit: I've realised that the discussion has move on from here so I'll try and see you guys there. ouo
This is the one main mod I'm sad I can't play in 1.12. I got my fingers crossed to see it being worked on again in the future. And maybe then some of mobs will be in the works from the various games (maybe in their own mod since this is for the items).
This mod is for all things Zelda, mobs included. Currently coolAlias and I both are taking a break from modding while we take care of some irl stuff, so ZSS work has kinda come to a temporary hold. When we get the chance to come back to it, we're still working on some of the last touches to the 1.7.10 and 1.8.9 updates before pushing to the latest version, so it will be awhile before we come around. If you wanna keep track of our progress in the future though, come on over to the Discord server to see what we're all up to.
Development of this mod is pretty slow at the moment, although it would not surprise me if Cool and Spitfyre were still planning on updating this to 1.10.2.
Either way, if you want to stay up to date with this mod, I'd refer you to the Planet Minecraft page and the Discord server as this forum thread is pretty much dead.

Okay, so I'm having a small problem with locating where certain files are. Once you get a song and set it to a warp, it remembers the coordinates. Where can I find where the coordinates are saved to in the files, since I'm planing on automating a map for my friends?

Welp, it appears that these waypoints are saved on a per-player basis. On a server that would be in each player's respective <playerUUID>.dat file.
So I guess you can not technically set it up like you want in multiplayer.
Setting it up for a single player adventure should be possible, though.

As coolAlias mentioned on our super cool Discord server that you should totally join, warp songs attached to warp blocks are saved in the world .dat file. I'll check to clarify which one, but you'll get a faster reply checking a more active thread, like PlanetMinecraft or Discord

There will still be discussion of this mod on PlanetMinecraft and, for as long as it lasts, CurseForge.
I'm heading on a trip tomorrow for a week, so this is probably my last post here.
Thanks again to everyone for helping to make this mod possible. I'll do my best to get it updated and will post any news on PlanetMinecraft.

I rename npc vanilla to Zelda or Princess Zelda and nothing happens[/pre]
You have to click on them with a certain item; read the manual.
I looked in the manual, in the spoilers part, however there is nothing there to activate zelda npc besides renaming a villager.
It's in the spoiler section. You're supposed to talk to her while holding a Fairy Ocarina
can you add one for 1.10.2 pls?
