@YellowDwarf I did reply to you earlier, yes - a setting for boomerangs vs. grass will be included in the next release, but that release probably won't happen until this fall at the earliest.
Nice trailer, btw - I like your use of the target blocks and that boss arena (where you were fighting the spiders) looked epic with the lava encircling it!
hi. im already waiting for quite a bit now. my thingy was about the boomerang destroying grass. you asked the exact version im using before and the version is 1.8-zeldaswordskills-3.2 did you ever read my latest post bcus so far the boomerang is really annoying destroying the grass. :/ i also said it didnt return but after a few more restarts and tries it returns now c:
oh ok Xp. anyways do you have any idea with the config thingy?
Include the config file(s) with the download and instruct the end user to place those in their config directory. I'm pretty sure that's how other maps do it.

hi. its me again Xd. in the map i use the /give command alot. but with the big key i can only get the red one while i use /give. is there any way to get the other colours with the /give command?
First, I recommend using the shortcut F3+H to display item nbt. This will allow you to see damage variants. When you use the /give command, use this: "/give @p[] zeldaswordskills:(don't remember) 1 x" and change the x to the damage variant of the actual item.
Thanks! i always use the f3+h but im used to the worldedid where you use a :5 for example to get stone andesite. im kinda new to map making but its turning out really well. anyways thanks again c:
uhm since you sound like someone with experience can you maybe play my map sometime? for how far it is right now.. and give me some tips to maybe improve the map? you dont have to but ir would be nice.
Sure! I love Zelda-themed maps. I can't do it ATM (won't say why, I think some of you can figure it out), but I'll tell you when I'm able.
I know It has already been some time since you added Keeses, but i never really stopped to look at how they behave... So i have a question, do they hang from the Ceilling like bats?
coolalias. do you have any idea when the new version for 1.9 will be out? in 1.9 theres the new command blocks and its cool for mapmakers since u can add cutscenes and stuff.i get that is itsnt done in a sec but was just wondering
He hasn't even started. I know, the new command blocks are epic, way less lag than /fill clocks.

Keese behave almost like bats, except they'll frantically try and hit you, which is really annoying ESPECIALLY in the Nether. When they're idling about, they'll hang from the ceiling.

Is there a way to keep the magic bar from bugging to half-full once you've obtained the large magic bottle? It happens everytime I reload my world, seemingly returning to the default magic bar, then bumping back to the full double-sized large bar but only half full...

If you fill it up after it appears to be half full and then reload your world again, does the same thing happen?
Because what normally happens is this: each time Minecraft loads, it needs defaults. The default max mana is 50, and once you spawn the client is visible briefly before receiving additional player data (e.g. your actual max mana) from the server. So if your max mana is actually 100, and your current mana 50, when you first load it will appear to be full, and once you receive the server update, you will have 50/100, i.e. half.
Though it shouldn't stay at half, so if that's happening, let me know, but I didn't experience anything like that when I was testing.
Didn't you just say that it resets to half of your maximum mana on world-join?
The client side doesn't ever save any data so, when the extra properties are initialized, they need a default value. Once the server loads the actual data it is sent to the client, so if you say have 100 max mana you may see that it appears to be only 50 for a brief moment on the client before that update arrives.
I'm not sure why their current mana is appearing to be at exactly half every time, though. Either they are at exactly half mana (e.g. 50/100) so it appears full (50/50, the default) before the max mana is synced, or something funky is going on.
1. Did you name a villager 'Zelda'?
2. Did you speak to that villager while holding the Fairy Ocarina?
3. Did anything happen when you did step #2?

It's right here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/maps/wip-maps/2741923-the-legend-of-zelda-dark-mirror
I know it doesn't have any screenshots, but I've got an update coming up soon and that will change.

How did you get the impression that it isn't saved from what I wrote? 0.o
Yeah, I was just this morning using NBTExplorer and I saw a "currentMana" (pardon me if I misquoted) argument in the player data.
