First of all, thank you for reading the FAQ! Seriously, that's awesome.
Second of all, sorry. I should have worded that as "I have several ideas for bosses that I plan on working on when I get a chance," as even at the time I wrote the FAQ I wasn't actually actively working on any new bosses.
For right now, I have so little free time that it isn't even worth trying to work on this mod. However, I do still plan on getting back to it once my life schedule gives me opportunity to do so!

quick question,
I derped up a bit and gave myself too many skills, I don't want to have them as I feel it ruins the game.
Is there a command or something that will allow me to rebuke the extra heart containers?
Is there anyway to reset dungeons? I'm making a map, and I accidentally went too far into a dungeon, causing the boss to spawn. Or is there a way to create boss rooms manually?

No to both - I never imagined anyone making a map would want to actually use the little boss temples I made.
Next time I'm tinkering with the boss dungeons, I'll see if there is an easy way to allow them to reset. It might be next year before that happens, though, so you'll probably want to make back-ups of your map before messing around with a boss dungeon.
I seem to remember the boss temples not triggering in Creative Mode, but I may have removed that. It would be a pretty easy way to allow map-makers to edit the dungeons without ruining them, though.
It seems that the Hookshot and its upgrades don't work right. When I try to use it, it makes a small chain sound and an arrow/chain shows up on my body for a split second, but nothing else happens. Am I just doing something wrong?

Are you using them on the wrong material?
There's three different kinds of hookshots:
The blue one can only grapple onto wood (like planks and oaks) while the Clawshot can only attach onto stone. However, i don't know how you couldn't with the Multishot (The green one) because that pretty much adheres to any block. But they can all grip onto Hookshot Target Blocks
Also, I think you should hold the mouse down as well until you made it to your destination.

Yes. All of the commands are listed (with instructions on usage) in the manual.
Derp- Just realized I had the 1.7.10 manual, without the 1.8 revision features, which I guess is useless to me, cuz there are no updates coming to the 1.7.10 version anymore, right?

Each mod release includes the latest version of the manual at that time; thus, the latest version for 1.7.10 should have the same version of the manual as the latest version of 1.8 as they were released at roughly the same time.
There will be at least one more 1.7.10 release that will include the rupees and wallets.
I probably won't be doing any coding over the summer, though, since we had more than 6 months of no sunshine this winter and I'd like to take advantage of it while I can, ya know? Plus the baby and puppy need to get outside and experience the world.

Of course, I understand
Enjoy your summer with the doggo and the baby!

I know you have a life, go enjoy it the best you can.
I think once you get past 1.9 your mod should be much smoother to update. At least from my experience with my own. If that gives you something to look forward to. ^^
I know one thing that I noticed with my Bow of Kindred weapon comparing the 1.7.10 and 1.11.2 versions (which was also based on some Zelda Sword Skills coding), weapons with lots of utility became much, much more valuable because of how badly swords were nerfed in 1.9. So because of that, I forsee many of your awesome utility weapons become much more useful in that update and beyond. Being a developer and actually looking at ZSS at the coding level lets me see just how much work and creativity went into many of those weapons; its very heartwarming to know it will payoff very well once you can manage to get there.
1. Much of the NPCs' dialogue is gated behind various things, such as having the correct item in hand or having completed a quest. Some of the dialogue also happens only intermittently, so you may have to interact multiple times before getting a reaction.
2. Yes - that command is for temporary testing only (at this time). To add an item permanently to the sword or weapon registry, add its registry name in the appropriate section of the config file and restart the server.

Ok. I'll keep a back-up of my map from now on. Thanks though
There is one way of resetting the dungeon, but you may not want to if you've done too much work around it

I have the same issue actually.

@FuzzyAcornIndustires - That's what I'm hoping, especially now that 1.12 is out!
