Any chance that you could add a config file in the next or future update? love the mod, however i cannot upgrade to the newest mod version because the ore storage blocks are conflicting with some mods i already have installed

Thanks, I'll add a config file in the next update which will be when forge has a stable version for 1.7.2. Hope it won't be long now

Ideas:
Rose-Quartz
Give Diamond a power gem and change the Diamond Chestplate
Give Emerald Armour, Tools, and a Power Gem

Hi Smiley, all the things you said about diamond and emerald have been confirmed to be added in an update. Also I will be adding 2 new ores, it won't be rose-quartz but will still be in the nether, but your will pearl idea will be added alongside the other ore.

I thought of what I think would be a really cool armor. So we have obsidian and End stone right? What if we could put a shapeless crafting recipe where you would combine them to make "Raw Endsidian" then you could make armor like normal. Now the special part would come from that the chestplate and helm. Unlike normal helms this would take a Dragon Egg in the middle of the helm. In the chestplate instead of having a gem it would have a wither star. Once created you would have "Raw Endsidian armor".

Now while it's raw it would be just like diamond. Now where it gets cool would be refining it. To refine it you would need a "Nova Catalyst". This would be made with a coal block in the middle, surrounded by the 8 Power gem, this would create a "Unstable Catalyst" From here you would take your catalyst, but it in a furnace and put a bucket of lava as fuel. It would chew through all the lava to make one catalyst (Yeah takes awhile) Then from here you would take your catalyst, put it back in as a fuel this time, and put your armor in the cooking slot. The nova catalyst burns for 500 items, but so you don't die of waiting, burning the armor will consume all the fuel in 10 seconds.

Now you have refined Endsidian. A single piece gives +1.5 armor then normal diamond, and with a full set it gives creative flight, along with poison and wither resistance and nourishment (opposite of hunger) It would also have slightly higher enchantibility then gold. Now you may be thinking, "how do I make more then one set if it requires a Dragon Egg" well if you take a Wither Star, combine it with 4 Ender Eyes and 4 eggs you get a "Dull Ender Egg" Then you would just pop over to the End, plop a furnace down, throw the Dull Ender Egg in and use a Nova Catalyst as fuel, wait 10 minutes and boom, you got yourself a Dragon Egg. (You have to go to End so ensure that you can't skip killing the drag to get egg". Anyways that was my idea I had, might be extremely bad but I gave it a go.

Thanks for the suggestion Nfrance. I really like your idea especially how the armor includes the egg and will probably be implemented in the future but maybe not completely as I still have a lot of features to add.

Ya It was weird i was using the flame sword and it didn't light the mob on fire?

Honestly, I LOVE GEMS! This mod is perfect for me! In real life, my favorite gem is Amethyst. I've heard of all these gems before except Tourmaline. Keep up the good work!

I only made this mod with single player in mind, so I don't know if you can install this on a server as it is not a plugin. If it is possible then I would not know.

1.7.2 removes the Id system and just uses the names... So yeah... Adding a config for 1.6.4 would be useful and it isn't really needed for 1.7.2 also can you add a config to change the Potion Level of each armor. Tourmaline is OP with instant regen. Also a config for setting how rare the ores spawn ?

yes maybe, really at the moment I'm still updating it 1.7.2 and so the next update (0.3.0) will just be like 0.2.5 but for 1.7.2.
