Released 1.0.3, which fixes a bug introduced in 1.0.2.
This only affects people who use the cooking recipes that YAFM adds for Minecraft Comes Alive villagers (or are planning to) and have the Fried Egg recipe disabled in YAFM.cfg (or are planning to). If both of those don't apply to you, there's no need to update right away.

As others said above, I think it would be awesome to add a new pie. (Maybe melon or apple pie)
Also I think it would be nice to add chocolate milk using sugar, cocoa beans, and a milk bucket. When you drink it, you would get the bucket back and maybe you could also have a config for it to give you a speed boost for 10-20 seconds. (Sugar rush!)
Hey is this mod incompatible with any other mods? Im using like 90 or so mods and its hard to know which ones are incompatible in the crash report, all i could see was "yafm....................[all that other stuff]..... Errored. So idk. can someone please help?
This mod is awesome for me! I love food in Minecraft, and always wanted to mod my game with a food mod, but my frames are usually pretty low, like 20 at best, and mods just killed my frames too much, but this one runs as smooth as vanilla! So smooth that I managed to record a mod review of it without lagging too bad. Also, I do agree with the people above that something simple like apple and melon pie indeed should be added, and maybe, just maybe, chocolate milk, but don't add any "sugar rush" speed buffs on it, because if you do add it, I think it would kill the feeling of still playing in vanilla.
Do you know what entries I need to make in the Inventry Tweaks Tree .txt config files for it to recognise cooked mutton as an edible food? And squid too I guess.

Sorry for the delayed response, I'm guessing that it's not going to help at this point. But whatever.
The only reason that I can imagine YAFM would cause Minecraft to crash would be if you're using it alongside a particularly old version of YALSM (which I'll admit is a stupid thing, but since the latest versions of both work together just fine, I don't feel like spending the time to fix it... the fix would probably either be to create a "core" mod to share code between the mods like some other mod developers have, or to do something really weird during the build process to change the "airbreathercore" namespace to "yafm" / "yalsm", which would make it really confusing when looking at the source code).
Whenever this happens, post a crash report in spoiler tags, otherwise it's really hard to help.

I think that you should add bacon, which you get (four of them) by putting a raw porkchop in a crafting table. The bacon can be raw and cooked. It restores half a drumstick and poisons you for 10 sec. when eaten raw, but when cooked it cannot poison you and restores 1 drumstick. It's a bit more efficient than pork, but gets depleted faster.

Updated to 1.8. Mod-added mutton will no longer drop, but mutton from worlds upgraded from earlier versions will transfer just fine. Requires airbreathercore 1.0.1 or higher, distributed separately (linked at the top as well).

Heh -- when MCA updated to 1.8 just under a month ago, the API for adding cookable foods changed, so the recipes added by YAFM won't work in 1.8. YAFM could have automagically worked in 1.8 without me doing anything if the API remained the same, but alas, I can't predict the future.
YAFM update coming soon. Edit: putting that on hold for now, until MCA is updated so that there's at least one NPC who can cook food for you again. So far, I've tried the child (for which cooking is explicitly disabled) and all the different classes that can be hired, at least everything that villager spawn eggs would give me before I gave up.

Kinda. I'll turn off new drops entirely, but you'll still be able to cook and eat existing food items that came from earlier versions.
