Could anybody give me a smidge of help in generating a ComputerCraft stargate control program? Just looking for a way to enter an address and have it dialed into the stargate, nothing fancy, just a basic prompt.
In addition, any more specific ETA on the Atlantis textures?

Also the Atlantis textures are for a new gate, not just a swap on the current one. They will be added as soon as some more restructuring is done.
A bug-report was submitted regarding monster-pathing causing a NPE inside the Stargate Ring blocks, particularly inside pyramids - this was due to some weird Minecraft logic, and the path-finding testing against the actual renderer's ID - but no renderers exist on the server. This has been fixed retrospectively in snapshot #33.

I followed up the issue, but the data provided doesn't make sense - we need full FML logs, and the changes we just made should prevent this issue occurring. Neither Neo or I could reproduce this issue.

I'm still not sure what's up with the rendering. There's probably some missing call in the graphics, or some other bug I haven't found yet. I'm essentially rewriting the entire mod at the moment - there's actually proper sided-proxies now; so please bear with me while I get the code into an actual work-able state. I'll do more testing this morning. Please provide us with a full list of all your mods and their versions on the bug you submitted and I'll test this morning.

This is apparently due to a build-time issue regarding removing the Computercraft integration. I'm speaking with other modders and Minecraftforge helpers this morning to find out why the interfaces aren't being removed when they're supposed to be. Installing ComputerCraft temporarily will fix the issue, but I'm working to a more permanent solution now.

Currently the most stable snapshot is build 22. All builds after 22 the mod is going through a major rewrite, the original version of the mod was a mesh of Risugami's modloader, and Forge, we are fixing this.
Build 44 on Jenkins should fix the aforementioned crash issues with ComputerCraft, and the problems with inventories on servers. Apparently when converting to a Sided mod, containers and GUI's weren't being correctly initialized on servers, which meant it was impossible to insert Naquidah into gates. We also improved the under-Pyramid gate generator to include Glowstone lighting, thus making gaterooms slightly more - but not completely - safe!

It depends on the feature set you want. Our version is very heavy in development with new features/bugfixes released often. We also have ComputerCraft integration built in, new textures, etc. Greg's version, doesn't.
That is an issue with Greg's SGCraft as well, IIRC it is a conflict with OptiFine, I'm not sure if it is fixable as OptiFine does nasty things to custom renders.
I am trying to write a startup program with the (as of writing) latest Delta-SGCraft and right now it looks like:

but whenever I write in an address I get "startup:9: attempt to call nil". How can I fix this, and any help to make the program better?
How do you have the gate connected to the computer? For peripheral.wrap("bottom") to work you have to have the computer inside the gate. If you are using a wired modem then you need to peripheral.wrap("stargate_#") stargate_# would be the name you got when you activated the modem on the gate.

The wonderful thing about this mod, and any other, is if you don't like the textures you can use a resource pack to replace them. The format is a little different from the original mod, but it is very doable. I chose to go with Delta NP's textures because I felt they had a more authentic feel to them, much like Greg uses the textures he does because he feels they fit his mod.
