I have some questions about 1.5.2 version. Here they are.
1. Is biome map dynamic? How it will change when I will change a biome in game with one of this special biomechanger plugin or something?
2. How big might be a biome to display on map ? May 1-block biome have been displayed.
3. May I add more custom textures? For example add hundred variants of forest biome texture?
4. May I add textures for mods biomes?
Thanks for your input. Said biomes were rather difficult for me to draw distinctly. Your wavy lines suggestion sounds really good, I'll definitely give it a try when I can get back to working on the mod.

1. Antique Atlas uses biome IDs to determine the texture. I don't know what biomechanger plugins do, but you can try it and see if it works as expected. If you change biome ID for area that has already been drawn in the Atlas, the texture in that Atlas will remain the same. You'll need a new Atlas, which will use the new biome ID information from the world.
2. When analyzing chunks, I take the biome ID which covers the most area. Only water and swamp biomes are given priority, in order that rivers and bogs are better connected. So unless your 1-block biome is surrounded by literally void space, it will not be visible in the Atlas.
3,4. Sure, see tutorial
Thanks Hunternif, I will do that. I have one issue though. The config file resets every time I load the game. I use Biomes O' Plenty and that makes it hard to use. I did follow your tutorial to the letter.

The config file does not actually reset, it is just rewritten, keeping all the values you've changed, possibly only changing the order. I can see that this can make it hard to work with if you set biome textures manually. Thanks for pointing that out, I will fix it so the file is only rewritten if some of the biomes are missing or so.
Awesome Mod, Thanks!! One request, to make this even more EPIC! A way to add dots or marks with some sort of text, so we can make different spots to remember!

Thanks! That's going to be the next thing on the list.
In the meantime, could someone please do me a favor? Explore as much of the world as you can with an Atlas in inventory, and then export the image and upload it somewhere. I'd love to take a look at a huge map And also make sure it doesn't crash when exporting one
Wow, that's incredible.
I've been wondering how the map will look after the mod gets to a 1.7+ state. Will you have different textures for all of the sub-biomes and larger meta-biomes?

This is the most beautiful ingame map I've ever seen. And it runs so well to. Love it.
My maps are a bitt barren thought since I have a quite heavily modded client and the map doesn't seem to show any extra biomes or trees (Biomes O'Plenty, Natura etc.)
If you ever have the time I wouldn't complain if you added support for them. Heck, I'm not complaining if you don't either. It's just so beautiful... Ah...

Just.. I just want to,... to say THANK YOU!
I'm glad you're enjoying it, sketaful!
I actually expected the additional biomes to work out of the box, but apparently I've got a bug in there. I promise to add proper support for at least Biomes O'Plenty.
EDIT: I don't mean that I'll be drawing textures for their whopping hundred biomes, but at least subsitute them with appropriate tiles that I've already drawn for vanilla biomes. Right now the new biomes don't seem to be rendered at all.
I apologize for not having actually tested this functionality until now, even though I've been advertising it for weeks..

Oh sounds like all I wanted. "Support" Awesome.
My guess with the biomes is that it have a problem to figure out what type of biome each biome is and showing a lot of the woods as just barren desert.

Thanks for an interesting suggestion, I'll think about it.

I made Moses Mod, Dota 2 Items Mod, Rings of Power and Antique Atlas.
It's right mouse button. I'll fix the OP now so people won't get confused anymore

Thanks. You can, as long as you give credit to me.
However, I would greatly appreciate it if you somehow shared my adf.ly download link instead.

I hope I'll be able to do that eventually.
