When I try to use the 1.8 deobf jar 11.14.4.1563 in a modding environment (eclipse), I get an error:
[12:14:56] [Server thread/INFO]: kenkron joined the game

Funny enough, when I build the AntiqueAtlasOverlay plugin, it worked anyway. I guess it's not a big deal, it's just unexpected.
any idea when the 1.7.10 version will be fixed up? currently sitting on version 4.2.7 to avoid the memory leak/high cpu usage on servers for 4.2.10. i really wanna try using Kenkron's overlay mod but it requires 4.2.10 or higher.
I apologize for the long time when I couldn't deliver updates, but finally here's some good news. Kenkronhere has kindly agreed to take over development of the mod for the time being. I'm certain that he will do an excellent job!
I'll still be around and hopefully at some point will come back to modding in this awesome community.
I have a profiler trying to reproduce the server problem as I type. Until then, I made this overlay jar you can try.
Edit: I've been having trouble reproducing that bug (#74). What kind of setup made it slow down for you?
finally got around to trying out the overlay jar & it works pretty nicely. is it possible hide the overlay when the atlas is open & when chat is up? or even have the overlay behind chat? currently it sits on top of chat if you put it in that corner, making it hard to read & send in chat.

I just want to say several things about this mod.
First: It is in my own opinion the best alternative to a 'minimap' system I've yet to find. I hate map huds in general because they feel cheap in the sense that you just have this unexplained knowledge of your surrounding area. This mod brings mapping back to a minecraft level, you have a book that you're filling in.
Second: The improvements that are consistently being made to the mod have been phenomenal! We went from a map in a book, to a scrolling map in a book with labeled markers you can add and erase as needed! I've been with this mod for a long time and have yet to see any update I didn't enjoy! I even recently learned about the death marker addition, which wasn't in the last time I played. It's wonderful! (though, I am lucky I even found the book after that... got a little close to lava.)
Finally: Thank you! Your efforts have made my minecraft experience much better overall, and I don't go anywhere outside my base without my Antique Atlas.
How to enable Biomes O'Plenty / Thaumcraft:[/b]
1. Replace the file "texture_sets.json" in the folder ".minecraft/config/antiqueatlas" with the one in the archive.
Would you be willing to clarify what you mean by 'Archive'? I don't know quite where to find that.

Now look, buddy. I'm an Engineer. That means I solve problems. Not problems like 'what is beauty', because that would fall within the purview of your conundrums of philosophy. I solve practical problems. Like, how am I going to stop some big, mean mother-hubbard from tearing me a structurally superfluous new behind? The answer: Use a gun. And if that don't work: Use more gun. Like this heavy-caliber, tripod-mounted little ol' number designed by me. Built by me. And you'd best hope, not pointed at you.
The texture for the Magical biome for TC4 seems to be missing. It shows the standard purple/black squares in place of what it's supposed to be.
EDIT: Scratch my previous comment, I think I've found the origin of my problem. On a completely different note, how insane would it be if Twilight Forest was supported? It would be downright beautiful.

First off, this is my favourite mapping mod hands down and bar none. Mini maps just seem so cheap and having an actual thing you have to get out is much more satisfying for me.
My love of Antique Atlas has lead me to add it to every mod pack I've made for myself, but having moved onto 1.9.4 and now 1.10 my mapping needs are left wanting and there is an atlas shaped hole in my life.
Glad to see another dev taking over the mantle of this mod and now comes the whine...
Any idea of even an alpha dev build for 1.9.4/1.10? Please, pretty please? I need my atlas back! :-D

I too have a similar problem, could you please share how you fixed yours?

I needed the BoP texture pack & a couple of edits to the config ID's.

Ah ok, I managed to borrow the config from the Life In The Wood modpack and it worked after restarting my game once I'd installed the resource pack.

Nice work on this mod! Looks like a nice balanced, fast alternative to JourneyMap, which tends to be pretty slow and buggy for me. I only have one suggestion at the moment:
Would it be possible to add special handling for void areas like the map already has for water and lava? I use Advent of Ascension, which has a dimension that has sky islands separated by void, and it would be nice to be able to tell where the islands are on the map. Right now it all gets filled in as if it was land since it doesn't look at void.

I made Moses Mod, Dota 2 Items Mod, Rings of Power and Antique Atlas.
Do you know if 1.9.4 is the final 1.9 version?

Cool mod. I like the sense of adventure it gives the game, compared to the normal vanilla minecraft maps, which just look like abstract pixel art.

Hello. Is it OK if I can include this into a public modpack that I am still working on. Please?

I meant the zip file containing AABOP.
I made Moses Mod, Dota 2 Items Mod, Rings of Power and Antique Atlas.
I never did get Tainted Lands looking right in my Atlas...they still look like deserts, no matter what I do.

I saw there was a 1.9.4 pull request for Antique Atlas a few days ago that got approved.
Are there any dev builds for that version that we could use? Or is it not ready yet?
