If you can, can you make a config file. I can't use your mod because I can't change its ID's.
Alright
New Version!
Version 1.2 adds config file.
You can finally edit all IDs
Due to number of requests to add the config file, I decided to update the mod for you guys
Thank you very much. This mod IS great, now that I am able to try it out with the config file to change block and item IDs.
I have crafted and used a few items so far.
I noticed the difference in the 2 cakes when in my inventory, the one crafted with gold blocks 'glimmered' like it was enchanted. When I placed them though, they look exactly the same. I have "Particles" set to 'minimal' in my video settings to give FPS a boost. When I changed it to 'All' I could see particles around the gold block enchanted cake. I could also see them when set to 'Decreased' as well. When set to 'Minimal' there are no particles, and they look identical. The only way to tell them apart is to take a bite. We run WAILA and it does not identify them at all, so it is not helpful to tell them apart either.
If I may make a suggestion, it might be helpful to change the texture on one of them, just slightly, in order to differentiate them once they are placed in the world as blocks.
Again, thank you and great mod!

Along the same thought of differentiating the items, what about adding a word to their item name that lets users know it is the higher level of the two foods?
For example, both cakes or both steaks are called the exact same thing. I run NEI which shows me the item IDs, which are different, and one item name is in a turquoise while the other is in a magenta. Other then that they are the same. A word added to the higher level item would make it easier to differentiate the two, easier to locate when searching items.
Based on the mod description, "Enchanted" seems like the best word to use. What do you think?
Loving this mod the more I use it, BTW. Had some crazy battles with 'special mobs' in a 'hardcore expansion of the ender', glad I had the food.

wow, 3 posts in a row from me. I am trying not to be an annoyance.
Maybe something is not working on my end, but I noticed some of the 1.1 food does not give the effects listed. It restores hunger points but no absorption, regeneration or night vision from the enchanted golden carrot, for example. The steak and fish and cookie are the same, none of their effects.

You're welcome! Sorry if it's bad quality. I had already edited another video to go up and was tired, so it's just a video of recipes and stats.
Maybe it could have a use.
Im The Golden Pumpkin!
Give me a thanks or like If you want to.
Agreed. Interested in mod but not able to start the game with mod loaded because of conflicts.

Config file? alright.
Haha, I just noticed that ^^
Diamond food?..hmm...It's an interesting thought.
