The Veinminer pressed option is annoying, I liked how before you just hold it and it veins the blocks if you hold. now even after I hold it it still vein mines even tho I don't want it to. Is there any way to fix this?

What version of Veinminer are you using? Version 0.17.1+ shouldn't have the problem.

I'm using 0.17.1, the newest stable version of veinminer, should I update to the beta version?
Seems like updating to beta fixed it. >.> I wonder why that was happening even tho it was the version after the fix
Hmm when I try to veinmine redstone it doesnt work? Any idea why.
You know how when you hit or walk on redstone it lights up? well I think that makes it count as a different block. Basically once you start breaking redstone to vein mine it it lights up and becomes a different block.
Hey is there any way i could make veinminer 1.7.10 work like 1.7.2? like if i had anything in my hand i could veinmine any block like if i was holding seeds or a feather or something i could veinmine grass, leaves, dirt basically any block. i don't want to sit editing configs for hours thanks =)

You want to change "override.allBlocks" and "override.allTools" to true.
I've got a problem where when I vein mine (It seems to be just cobble) that the area I mine glitches out, and I seem to be in a stuck position (I can move, but it's real slow) sometimes I will take damage (like I'm suffocating almost) and I can no longer get into the area I mined without that issue occuring.. Has anyone else experienced this issue?
EDIT: I'm using FTB Unstable on Singleplayer
EDIT2: I think this might be an issue on my end, I was able to exit, restart the game, and after I moved around a little more, it cleared up, almost like it couldn't save the block data fast enough, and the game thought that the blocks were still there..
I, too, am having trouble with redstone. I'm using 1.7.10 and the version you have on the OP for that MC version. It just doesn't want to propagate through all the redstone ores.
I do have a request though, can you make the input box for tools and blocks accept more characters? 32 characters just aren't enough when we're talking about mod namespaces. Some mods have ridiculously long names and it makes it impossible to add in the UI, so I have to resort to manually touching the config file. I'm thinking 64 characters ought to do the trick.
Also, sorry to double post, but I seem to be having some issues with Vein Miner on my server. Basically what happens is I will mine/dig/chop some blocks and sometimes the blocks aren't actually harvested on the server, but they look like it on the client. If you attempt to walk into the perceived space, you get a kind of weird spasming jitter effect (presumably the client and server arguing as to whether you can actually go there). This happens with both the latest 'stable' version for 1.7.10 (0.17.1) and the latest dev build from your Jenkins (0.20.0.33) and I have never seen this in just a single player world, only multiplayer, whether I'm just opening up my world to LAN, or on my actual server.
I'm just tossing out ideas, but I wonder if it might have something to do with tool durability, meaning that the server part of the mod stops the mining when the tool breaks, but the client doesn't register that or something.
If you would like access to my server so I can show you exactly what happens, in case you need any clarification, or if I perhaps didn't explain it well enough, just send me a PM.

How fast have you got it set to (blocks per tick)? Does reducing the speed help?

I:limit.blocksPerTick is currently at the default value of 10 and reducing it doesn't help, unfortunately. I tested it out at a value of 1 and experienced the exact same symptoms.

Can you give more info. What Minecraft version? What forge version? What VeinMiner version?

It's actually broken. Will fix it soon.
