No more enderdragon. Still giant and wither. After downloading the mod, open the jar, go in the files folder, change whatever you want in LuckyBlockDrops.txt. You can add or remove any drop from that file, so you can disable the bosses already. Then add the modified jar in the mod pack, and all lucky blocks will have your custom properties!
I noticed there wasn't a video on how to install this mod, and although the instructions are simple others might be able to use this video. Hope this helps!
How would one go about making custom potions? ex: I want to make a custom potion with strength 1 for 40 seconds, speed 2 for 30 seconds, and resistance for 1 minute.
How would one go about making custom potions? ex: I want to make a custom potion with strength 1 for 40 seconds, speed 2 for 30 seconds, and resistance for 1 minute.
Interesting question. potion effects are usualy stored in the damage value, but if you want more you need to use NBT. Here is an example I made:
I gave it a damage value to make it look like a potion of strength, but that has not effect on what the potion does. Instead, the NBT tag controls the multiple effects. I also gave it a special name. The potion properties in the NBT are:
Id: The if of the effect, look here for a list
Amplifier: Whether the potion is a type I, II, III, VI, etc.
Duration: The time the effect lasts. This is in 1/20th of a second, so 1200 is 60 secs.
Ambient: Keep this false. It determines whether this is a beacon effect of not.
To make a splash potion, or one that looks different, change the damage. Keep in mind if you have the CustomPotionEffects tag, the damage will only make a difference on the display and whether it is splash or not. Here is how to choose damage. To add more effects, follow the tag pattern and change the properties. Be mindful of the brackets!
This mod is quite literally the game changer in my modpack. While most mods add in chests with predictable loot, this mod haves me wondering "is this the time i explode, or i get killed by a zombie."
Not only that, but it helps the players so much, the only complaint i could have about this mod is the lucky items and such. However, i nerfed them myself by simply making them gold, instead of diamond, plus it's more luckier.
I make zombies spawn with your fabulous block on their head, always dropping it no matter what. However, since they're rare, it makes me and my friends search long and hard for any zombies with your familiar block on their head. Thanks so much for this mod, it's really awesome and unique.
I hope to see more from this mod, thanks so much for making it.
Uh, quick question. Can this spawn the enderdragon like it can the wither? Cuz I've heard that horrible things happen if the enderdragon is in the overworld, like that the world is pretty much done for, like even the endstone it's not supposed to be able to break will break and stuff. Possible it's been fixed since I read that but somehow I doubt it so, I really have to know, is that a possibility?
Im having trouble with this mod, ive downloaded it and placed it into my mods folder. Im running forge 1.6.4. but when i load up minecraft it doesnt seem to be recognizing it? any help would be greatly appreciated thank you.

This error seems to be a problem with forge. It doesn't seem to have anything to do with the lucky block or any other mod you have. I would suggest downloading the latest 1.6.4 forge in case you don't have it. Also, if a crash report does not mention mod.lucky.something it is probably not a problem with this mod.
Um, that doesn't really show a crash report. It's more of a log of what has happened, and is not mentioning what has happened with the mod. This seems to be the main problem:
[19:20:12 INFO]: Client> 2014-01-04 19:20:12 [SEVERE] [ForgeModLoader] There is a binary discrepency between the expected input class aqz (aqz) and the actual class. Checksum on disk is 4b6d3b4c, in patch 55203cc0. Things are probably about to go very wrong. Did you put something into the jar file?
[19:20:12 INFO]: Client> 2014-01-04 19:20:12 [SEVERE] [ForgeModLoader] The game is going to exit, because this is a critical error, and it is very improbable that the modded game will work, please obtain clean jar files.
There is a problem with your .jar file. The lucky block goes in the mods folder, not the jar, in case you put it there. Otherwise, it seems you have modified the jar in a way that prevents the game from working.
If it is happening with other mods, then it doesn't have anything to do with this mod, and so unfortunately I simply don't know. I would recommend putting this on the forge forums, as it seems to be a problem with forge (maybe). Maybe it is SimpleMC launcher that is causing it?
