What's up with all the additions lately being basically stuff from thaumcraft? Like the broom=gather golem and seal of containment= warding blocks and slipstream generator=arcane levitator. Did anyone else notice this?
Is there a web page for Ars Magica that has useful information, like a wiki, user instructions, etc? Also, does this work with 1.7.4 and Forge?
The information guide for Ars Magica 2 is the Arcane Compendium that you get when you start off exploring the mod. And no, this mod is for Forge 1.6.4, not 1.7.4. Not many mods are even close to being ready for 1.7, as Forge itself is only just stabilising.
hey sorry to be a bother, but i dont understand sigil stands? so i have my animal farms in seperate pits but close together (like seperated by one wall) and i put a sigil stand on ground level with the progeny sigil but none of the animals would breed? ok well maybe it needs to have direct sight of them, then i put it in the pit wiiith them, still doesnt work though? what am i doing wrong? i placed the stand, right clicked the sigil of progeny onto it, some black/purple hole started spiining abouve it, but nothing ever happens. Its been a couple days on my server but i still am not getting the animals to breed unless i manually feed them wheat? Oh by the way im using ars magica 2 from the 1.6.4Direwolf2.0 pack on Feed The Beast

How large is your farm in area? Maybe the sigil is out of range for them so try putting a redstone/iron/gold inlay to increase its range. My progency sigil worked far far too well:

Speaking of sigils, are chickens supposed to escape the sigil of containment? I found out that on AM2 version 1.1.1c my chickens kept on escaping.
And are you supposed to able to make a light nexus like that one in the image above?

To any people interested, there has been some new updates to the Arcanacraft server (new hardware, griefing protection, lots of cool stuff) - you should come check it out!

I have seen dozens of people play the mod and have not had that problem. I highly doubt it's specifically related to Ars. And yes, I read that you removed it and the issue went away. It may be an interaction between AM2 and another mod, or a specific modding framework you may be using. Heck, it could be your JVM args or GC. Perhaps you have a bad stick of RAM and that memory doesn't get used until you have AM2 loaded up along with everything else.
Have you tried it with just AM2? Are you on a server? Try removing Thermal Expansion?
Ram and my java is out of the question .. only because it happens to me and my wifes computer i have desktop she has a laptop .. also happened to another person in this thread just a page back .. So its not my system so to say but still could be a conflict ...

Find a banner on the forums that you like, right-click on it and click copy image. Then, you go to your settings area, click on signature and paste the banner and save. Easy as pie.

That's a bug relating to MCPC+, unfortunately there isn't much I can do about that one. On Github, some people were saying that version mcpc-plus-1.6.4-R2.1-forge965-B219 solved their issue, so maybe try that?
