axe of the stream now works as it did in previous versions. Any blocks it breaks automatically move towards player, but right click draws in items instead of harvesting faster. the pickaxe of the core now only shows ores, lava and water

Hopefully, my non-golem mana bean bug will be fixed along with the golem-harvesting problem.

I did some CraftTweaker scripts for Mystical Agriculture. They fill in a couple of small gaps in MA, and also let you make or duplicate not only vanilla plants, but the blocks, plants and wood from Quark and Biomes O'Plenty. Also spawn eggs for most vanilla mobs! The scripts are here on Github.
I was so happy to see Thaumcraft finally able to work with Forge versions above 1208... then I found out that Forge 1224 broke compatibility with a lot of biome adding mods and thus crashes every time you try to play with a mod like Biomes O Plenty installed.
So wait, the axe of the stream regained its ability to flow blocks back to the player, but lost its ability to cut down connected log blocks?
If it can only cut down the block you are looking at then whats the point of floating the block back to you? You are already at the location to pick it up.
That would be like a game letting you regenerate health but only if you are at full hp. Hopefully I just misread the change log.

That depends on which mods you have. If you have Biomes O' Plenty it won't work until Biomes O' Plenty has a chance to update as forge 1224 breaks it. I can't speak on behalf of the other mods however.

It still chops down connected blocks, just not in turbo mode with right-click. That was originally added in place of the item suck mode since I couldn't get it working like I wanted on SMP (part of the big TC2 -> TC3 changes). However since then I figured out the whole SMP thing so I put it back since a lot of people seemed to miss it.

You need "choke" the tube in the direction you want to direct the essentia (equip a wand Shift+rightclick you will see an red ring in that tube)
Check the screen shoots we was posting and you will notice the red rings.
Are you talking about buffers? I'm reffering to reservoirs. I got the system to work without any reservoirs if that's what you meant. That's not the issue. It's the reservoirs that are giving me trouble, not the buffers.
So when is the next "big" update coming? I mean like an complete eldritch dimension and other stuff.
typically for updates to the MC version, but there's been noise made about such things recently, so hard to say if it'll be 1.7.10 or 1.8.

- as a temporary fix for the Forge biome spawning issue I will change all biome weights to multiples of 10 behind the scenes

Vanilla TC had both MF and Tainted Lands with weights below 10... There were a couple of workarounds, hopefully unnecessary now.

You see, I was doing a seed hunting, and I found it weird that seeds were looking pretty much the same with or without Thaumcraft.
Which means....that new chunks in my world will look completely different once I update.
That is IF I can update, cause I remember some mods have issues with the newer versions of forge.

You can safely stay on Forge 1208 up through TC 4.2.1.3. Just remember that having biome weights set to 10 like they need to be means that both Magical Forest and Tainted Lands will be as common as any vanilla biome.

Hello. Have problem with foci(excavation, fire, and others, I think).Craft one, take wand from greatwood with golden caps, press(hold) F and nothing happened.Trying change hotkey to F12, not working.Versions 4.2.1.1 and update to 4.2.1.4 today, but it not help.Solved by deleting AdvancedHUD[0.1.8]
