Place the filter on the input of the centrifuge, not the output of the buffer and it should be fixed.
Ehh... nope. As i wrote you a couple of days ago, they get wonky if they are not placed against the source of suction. Since the strongest suction will always be that of the centrifuge, there's no problem in placing the filter against that directly
thanks for the help! I am so confused with essential tubes, especially because Im so used to buildcraft pipes.

I plan to make mods in the future, once I am familiar with java.
I like astronomy, and one of my ideas is a mod based around astronomy.
Filter tubes do stupid things when they aren't single connections between active blocks. Stick a buffer right after it so typed/untyped suctions don't mix, it should actually go faster too. If that doesn't work you're probably SOL with your old version.
You need to treat unsigned type as a type of essentia thats all.
Steve-The-Entrance-Exam-Theorist is probably right.

Addressing you points and questions in order:
The Eldritch may gain enemies of the more closed-minded of human thaumaturges just by envy of their superiority.
My belief is that the Eldritch live in the opposite of the plane of Vis, the Plane of Warp. Their action may not have been to imbue ideas with warp, but rather to imbue sanity with a protective effect against warp. By questionable actions, the thaumaturge begins to drive himself (or herself) mad, levering open the door through his mind to allow warp energy to pour forth through him. The damaged remnant of the ward allows the Eldritch some control over what form that energy takes. Also, Warp isn't the mental manifestation of Taint, it is the mental and physical manifestation of Eldritch power. Taint is more like magical decay, and the only connection is that sometimes warp causes taint by attacking the magical stability of your mind and body.
I think that that was just supposed to be something filled in by the implied lore. Since there are villages, you can imagine that the simple stand-ins actually mechanically present ingame are merely indicators of much larger villages including thaumaturges without warp.
Taint is indeed the opposite of normal magic, if the term opposite can be used. Taint is a self-propagating form of damage to the aura. It attacks the aura around itself to destabilize more and spread, and at the same time it weakens the border between the overworld and the Vis. Pure nodes reverse taint by pumping pure ordo into the environment, which forces the disordered magic back into a stable form without strengthening the border. Silverwood nodes can create magical forest without the strong aura of taint by wicking in Vis through the gap and creating a stretched pocket under the border. Ethereal Blooms, however, work by using Sano to undo the damage caused by taint to its own aura, allowing it to return to normal.
It is in the nature of the void to demand filling, hence the Eldritch's wish to recruit human thaumaturges who fit their standards. There is a chance that even if the Enlightened do exist, they may not share the Eldritch's curiosity about the overworld and its sapient inhabitants. When your very nature is to not have, it would make sense that desire and ambition are more prevalent.
If the Enlightened are ever added, they likely will get their own tab, and I get the sense that they may give their knowledge a bit more willingly.
My guess is that the Crimson Cult have found a way to gain warp without knowing thaumaturgy, likely by some other form of dark ritual (human sacrifice, maybe), and that as a result the gifts of the Eldritch took different forms than those of a corrupted thaumaturge. Either they were directly given magical power that is intrinsic rather than tool-based, or their were given information on how to turn their bodies into something like wand foci. They might even get somehow "purer" warp because they take actions purely for the sake of getting warp (outside of flesh golem recycling in the metagame) rather than because the actions are useful in themselves.
I don't think that the Enlightened would have cultists of their own. If they are opposite to the sinister and secretive Eldritch and they care about humanity at all, I think it most likely that they would share their information openly. In fact, to be opposite to Vacuous and Tenebrae, they would likely be Lux and Cognitio. If they did have followers, they would probably be less murderous than Crimson Cultists, but that isn't saying much.
I love rambling too. Its fun having someone to discuss this stuff with.
A sinister node already has some link to the Eldritch. By means of things that belong in the Outer Lands (namely Eldritch Eyes) that connection is strengthened, and when the proper action is taken, the portal from the other side opens to allow you through. The name of "Opening the Eye" is because it is used to get the attention of an Eldritch test administrator who watches you as you do stuff in the Outer Lands. I don't think that the Eldritch are exactly evil, but only because such a human concept as morality cannot be properly applied to something as different from humanity as the Eldritch. What they are is self-serving, and I think that they only thing of humans as being "people" in the same way we do in the sense that the best of us (to their standards, the warped) can be changed into people. Its like how nobody human would complain about profiting from metal smelting because it hurts the rock.
One final thought: I think that the main enemies in the Outer lands are all made from failed applicants. Since the primary source of applicants are Crimson Cultists, most of those enemies are made from them. Note how shambling husks are obviously dressed in Cult attire, and how Guardians have Cult sigils on their skirts and the Exanimis aspect. I think the Eldritch Crabs are probably either custom jobs made from scratch or some kind of pest, though. The appalling thing is how Cultists got into the Outer Lands. One would think that if they had found a way to perform the ritual without thaumaturgy or the intellect of a box of rocks, they would at least know to share it with their compatriots rather than going in alone to try and hog all of the glory. Maybe their method is unreliable, as that would explain why they don't have working portals at all of their obelisks.
Sinister nodes from totems and pure nodes from silverwood trees can, indeed, be jarred. In fact, given that sinister nodes spawn enemies, I make sure to keep a few around for an experience farm and low-end wand charging (via aspect orbs.) They're also useful for creating magical biomes that are less....shiny... than magical forests.
My supernode-in-progress has reached 114 Ordo, 81 Perditio, 75 Terra, 72 Aer, 72 Ignis ... and finally gained a single point of Aqua, bringing it to 117.
so azanor. those silver nuggets, that are sometimes dropped by silverfish.
i just noticed that thaumcraft is adding them (i didnt sue waila in the past, so no tooltips for what mod adds what item). but there is no use for them at all. they dont craft into silver ingots, or even silver wand caps (which would make sense).
Oh oH OH, I just got an idea what the camera could be used for. Taking pictures of the aura! Normally the magical under-workings of the aura and magic in general is invisible, But what if you could take a snapshot of it at the current state? You set a timer as well as calibrate the settings and it produces a still image that shows the "structure" of magic, Like taking a picture of a magnetic field. Might look a bit like the effects from this (but obviously a little different and easier to see):

This is probably caused by some other mod, they don't drop any silver nuggets for me.
I encountered a graphical armor bug where the armor does not rotate with the player and is always aligned in the same direction when ti animates. I have attached an image of this:
Does anyone happen to know what might be causing this? I might post a specification list for what I'm running later. I am just curious if anyone knew something off the top.

If I remember correctly that's caused by smart moving. It'll do that with any armor that has a unique model.

Due to my snarky and sarcastic personality I can easily be seen as a jerk. If I've offended you in any way it was likely unintended.

You deserve to be cast into the deep dark for that, dark flame of Ündun. Begone from here!
I tried that. It didn't work

Later upgrades (or versions) might have better resolution, Color, Movement, Etc.
So what do you think?
This is probably caused by some other mod, they don't drop any silver nuggets for me.
Or dropped just becaue they're there.
Cause if the second one it's probably Botania
no, when killed.
and theyre dropping thaumcrafts silver nuggets. but youre right, it might be one of the thaumcraft addon mods thats causing it. still weird though.

Ahh, I just ran a test without smart moving and that resolved the issue. It's a shame that happens.
Thanks bunch!
