What? I've never seen zombies wearing any modded armor before.
Mekanism has this as a "feature", or at least it did up to minecraft version 1.6.4.
Nothing like playing hard mode on a server, visiting the nether, and discovering that every single pigman as far as the eye can see is wearing steel armor courtesy of Mekanism.

there were nice things here, until the mod author threw a tantrum.
I did some CraftTweaker scripts for Mystical Agriculture. They fill in a couple of small gaps in MA, and also let you make or duplicate not only vanilla plants, but the blocks, plants and wood from Quark and Biomes O'Plenty. Also spawn eggs for most vanilla mobs! The scripts are here on Github.
Reposted request for the Arcane Bore: as an alternative mode to the straight tunnel-digging, could you make it mine out a sphere? This would necessarily have a much shorter range (perhaps two-thirds the range of wand excavation, with Enlarge making it bigger), and would be activated by using the wand to point the bore into its own base. It would leave a pyramid of unmined material to support the base, and would not mine blocks directly or diagonally adjacent to the base.
This wouldn't really be intended for mining, it would be for making your own caverns. I like to make little "garden in a bottle" caverns in my worlds, and this would be designed to make it easy to make smooth-walled circular caverns like that without TNT.

Unusual circumstance I know, but the game crashes if you try to use a primordial pearl on a null node (one with no aspects). I was trying to see what a node gains from that if it had no aspects at all before.

First one's made by hand as scenery for a subway line, second is made with an excavation focus, bigger but a bit uninspired. I'd make these things more often if it was easier to dig them out. I should try one with an enlarged arcane bore tunnel sometime.

Odd crash, which may not actually go here (yes, I do see the Blood Arsenal coming up a few times there) but figured I'll throw one here too since I was doing something sorta TC related at the time of the crash. Tried to jar a node, before realizing I didn't have a wand capable of jarring a node. When I went to break the glass around it, crash. Like I said, from what little I understand, maybe nothing on this end, but figured here it can go just in case.

Small bug, I think? Redstone torches have one point of Machina, but the game seems slightly confused on this matter. Normally, every aspect on any item has a number, even if it's just a 1, but there's no number on the machina for redstone torches. Looking up machina in NEI, and redstone torches aren't listed as having them. Not entirely sure what the game is thinking here.
On a different note, regarding stability for the infusion altar, if I'm reading it right, the altar doesn't very much care what stabilizers you have, just how many? I suppose that makes candles the cheap option, though I do have a fair abundance of shards for clusters from mining trips. Had initially thought one might be better than the other, depending on expense/rarity.

You are reading it right. Candles will do just fine. The good thin about crystal clusters is that you can place them on the ceiling, making for very dense stabilizer rooms. (Candles ont he floor, crystal clusters above.)
Come to think of it, I think the ceiling above the altar might actually be in range of stabilizing. That's a good idea. Crystals above, candles below, and maybe if I can build up a pile, mob heads around the altar itself. Even if it's not necessary, variety never hurts.

That, or the ceiling of the candle room below your altar.

Don't forget the flux scrubber, if you're making things that cramped.

Pictures, man! Show us pictures!
This sounds like something I wanna try out.
First one's made by hand as scenery for a subway line, second is made with an excavation focus, bigger but a bit uninspired. I'd make these things more often if it was easier to dig them out. I should try one with an enlarged arcane bore tunnel sometime.
How about blasting the space out with the Primal Focus?
Odd crash, which may not actually go here (yes, I do see the Blood Arsenal coming up a few times there) but figured I'll throw one here too since I was doing something sorta TC related at the time of the crash. Tried to jar a node, before realizing I didn't have a wand capable of jarring a node. When I went to break the glass around it, crash. Like I said, from what little I understand, maybe nothing on this end, but figured here it can go just in case.

I continually find myself wishing it were possible to place Eldritch Eyes on the walls of my thaumatorium as wall decorations.
Imagine if the eyes actually watched the nearest player and shifted position depending on whether they were left, right, up or down.
Mod by Tuhljin
The one I've never made after it became eldritch research?
--Tage
Come to think of it, I think the ceiling above the altar might actually be in range of stabilizing. That's a good idea. Crystals above, candles below, and maybe if I can build up a pile, mob heads around the altar itself. Even if it's not necessary, variety never hurts.
That, or the ceiling of the candle room below your altar.
Don't forget the flux scrubber, if you're making things that cramped.
Oha thanks. I've looked up thaumcraft 4 at least 5 times. I think I may hove fond one for 1.7.10 Actually lately i've been busy with spore so I haven't had much time to play around with TC
