So I'm playing the modsauce pack that was released on the atlauncher and it has Advanced Genetics but it doesn't have IC2 so i can't power any of the machines and the universal cables from mekanism do not work? Is there any cables that connect to your machines other than IC2

I think it crashes if you try to use it with IC2 power anyway. I couldn't get it to work with Redstone Flux either. I think you have to use the combustion engine.
Im having a problem with Advanced Genetics, Im using RF yo power everything and for some reason its not going into the Advanced Genetics Machines. I have tried everything, from using ender IO cables, Extra Utilities cable, and even putting the dynamo on the machine. Nothing is working and the power gen from AG is rather bad. Im using the HermitCraft Modsauce Pack from the ATLauncher. Not sure what the problem is maybe config but yea i need help!

It would only work for me when I used the Advanced Genetics Generator. Advanced Genetics is not going to get anymore upgrades, so we'll have to wait until Advanced Genetics 2 is released for potential compatibility with power from other mods.
I do have a question though. Is AG2 going to be for 1.7.10 or 1.8?
This kind of depends on some factors outside of his control. He can't update the development version of AG2 for 1.8 until Forge gets updated for 1.8. Getting Forge ready for 1.8 could take some time. I think Forge was updated for Mincraft 1.6 the same day it came out, but updating for Minecraft 1.7 took around two months. So it kind of depends on if Forge for MC 1.8 is done before AG2 is ready or not. I imagine that AG2 will eventually be updated for Minecraft 1.8 when possible, though.
I have a question about the DNA Cloning machine and the creatures you create with it.
I was trying to clone a horse with some buffs like fire resistance, flight, extra health, water breathing, creeper avoidance, etc... I put the syringe with the genes in the cloning machine and created the horse. The problem is the horse has none of the genes I had in the syringe! I even took a blood sample from the cloned horse and analyzed it in the microscope and the genes are in the blood, yet the horse has none of the abilities. Is this a glitch? Or am I doing something wrong?
I'm using advancedGenetics_v1.4.1 for Minecraft version 1.6.4
I've noticed that the cloning function works for mobs from mods when you use one of their skin scales--which is awesome--has anyone used the API to create addons for the mod with genes from Lycanite's Mobs? Or any mod that adds new creatures?

Nice job, though. Try not to make the consequences too annoying, though. The last that I need is to eat a Hydra Steak every two seconds.
Actually, compatibility with TE is already in, as you can use TE machines to power the AG machines.

I have Fly, No Fall, Speed, Swim in Lava, More Hearts, Avoid Creepers, and Climb.

I just retested and it seems like No Fall, Swim in Lava, and More Hearts work.
Fly, Avoid Creepers, Climb, and Speed don't seem to be working.
Ah, I see. Is there a list of abilities that work on entities that aren't players?
Would Avoid Creepers be considered a passive abiltiy? Would Speed be considered a potion effect? I tried them and they don't seem to be working.
No, you can put one generator down and put machines on each side and they'll all get powered.
