Hi, I'm a new mod developer and I have a question regarding this mod.
Did you use the BlockRedstoneWire class to create the paste?
I'm trying to create a purple dust that places like Redstone dust and am really struggling to find documentation on how.
I'm not sure how Redstone placement works in the base game, so I'm stumped on what to search.
Is it as simple as extending a class or do I need to make a custom renderer? I'm looking to make a dust that can connect like Redstone and detect connected sides.
I don't know of any other mods with custom blocks like this. I'm struggling to find the right thing to search and would appreciate help.

I can't play Minecraft without this mod, hopper ducts, or computer craft. (And wireless Redstone cbe)
this is an amazing mod i use it for all my redstone needs great job.
just having an issue with sticky repeaters where i cant use them to complete a circuit and have to use normal repeaters which would be fine if i could half slab them.
ive found an odd mod interaction. if you have ElecCore and Redstone paste Redstone pastes render derps out. ive posted it here with screenshots also https://github.com/Elecs-Mods/ElecCore/issues/18
i noticed that when a powered wire or a powered comparater is directed towards a block, it wont be able to power the block. this makes it really hard to make devices that require 1 block redstone length distance to work for long distance within restricted areas, as you might have multiple wires next to them that need connected to something via the block, yet already have a redstone wire next to it. on the other hand, it seems your wire can accept power from blocks powered by regular redstone. it also does not power redstone comparators side power (regular comparators) when aimed directly at the side of the comparator
I would like to report a bug in the 1.9 version. i have no idea how it is happening. about 90% of the time, when attempting to build a device using redstone paste, the paste will either not activate with a signal, or will, but won't deactivate. for example. i place a lever, and a line of paste leading to a repeater, then more redstone on the other side of the repeater. when i pull the lever, the redstone before the repeater will activate but not the repeater or after it. if, while the redstone is still active, i break and replace the repeater, the repeater will activate but not the redstone after it, if i then break and replace the paste after the repeater it will activate. if i then pull the lever again, all redstone before the repeater will deactivate, but not the repeater or the paste after it.

Currently both Redstone Paste and Hopper ducts are on Curse as 1.10 and 1.9.4 mods. Is there any chance these mods could be flagged as compatible with 1.10.2 so that they can be used in packs put together with the curse launcher?
Verticle slabs are a bit strange. They always sound like stone and don't have the breaking animation. Also, sometimes when I try to place the redstone paste on a flower or similar block, it leaves my inventory and drops on the ground. This does not happen with regular redstone.
It works really great, I just wanted to inform you about a small gui/crafting bug.
When I change the config to craft paste use crafting with 8x redstone with one slime in the middle, the crafting itself works fine. But nothing shows up in the right pane. I can still grab it and it get crafted.
If I then try to craft paste with one slime and one redstone, the paste shows up in the right pane, but of course it doesn't work grabbing it.
I'm running version 1.7.4 from curseforge, on minecraft 1.10.2, with forge 12.18.0.2008 and some other mods like BOP, Quark and a few others.

So I downloaded the mod to my mods folder, but Forge didn't load the mod. I'm using: Apperently it just didn't load the first time I launched the game.

Never mind... It seems that it didn't load it the first time I opened the game for some reason.
In the attachment (if yo're confused), the pattern is Redstone Paste variant followed by the vanilla block to the right.
NEW INFO: I unloaded the custom resource pack, yet the error persists where sandstone textures are randomly rendered. Reloading the game with the pack pre-selected seemed to fix it...
Side-note, if you add support for overlay textures for the redstonepaste_block (redstonepaste_block_overlay) then I could make it look like it's got slime on the sides at all times.

This is a very awesome mod.
Now all we need are sticky rails and sticky powered/activator/detector rails. Then loopdy-loops will be possible.

i don't know witch mod is faulting but there is a problem somewhere..
i would like create a screen matrix of 36*16 with lampblock.
so i do behin this lamps matrix, a matrix of paste repetor's, in half position to be pixel 1x1.
to activate pixel i do behind pasterepetors a matrix of 36*16 wirelessblocks with an spécific ( frequency) adress.
result:
somme half blocks are not drawn by graphic engine, but functionality is ok..
When i use a half positioned repetor who is invisible it become visible.
And in some time to use them, minecraft is planting and going out.

Is there any desire to just make a redstone cable? so you don't have to put redstone on a block?
Or perhaps a redstone material that carries the signal farther than the standard redstone? Maybe make it a configurable number?

I'll be using this mod in a modpack called Cadikith, a modpack based around AoA with a quest book.
