Hey FyberOptic! I made a small mod review of your mod (Link ). It's pretty amazing! Though it has it's issues it's still a really cool mod and I just wanted to show you my review
Or for the remote connectivity in a confined space use either of these:
Paste from underside of the lever block around to the floor line
Add a bit of normal/vanilla Redstone dust under the lever block and attach the paste to it to complete the line
Both of the above should work fine.
I just wish the Paste was fixed to so that it powers the Redstone capable blocks it is attached to rather than just acting as a surface transfer akin to a repeater.
Varka, try repeating your above test but with the paste/redstone on redstone lamps,
with the end leading into a final lamp on the redstone level.
You'll see what i mean, hopefully.
As it is, it is good for multiple circuits over the same stone, but it would be nice to have both sticky options:
Redstone Dust + 2 Slimeballs - Current (Sic) Redstone Paste (Greener unless powered, in-line direct current only)
2 Redstone Dust + Slimeball - (Modified) Redstone Paste (Dark Red -> Red, acts like normal Redstone Dust)
The advantage to having both would be the ability to use the in-line version near levers, hoppers and such without causing issues and the other version to pick up and distribute power from blocks as required.
The sticky Comparators and Repeaters don't need any changes as they are suitable for both, the default surface ones are also only in-line powered and are currently (Sic) the only way to cross circuits on a similar level with Redstone.
Lexmanos said to contact coremod authors, you are one of them.
Well I can tell you right away that none of my mods do anything to WorldServer, so there's a couple to mark off your list.
The list would be shorter if Forge for 1.8 didn't have intentionally neutered rendering, and it would be even easier to look through if Forge had the option to track which classes were modified by each coremod along the way, but I guess we're asking for miracles.
I'm not sure if this is an issue with my minecraft client, or the mod, but when I place the redstone paste, there is no texture (it is invisible, yet I can still break it!) I haven't played minecraft in a while. I'm also using the 1.7.10 version of the mod.
So, if the problem is with my client, please tell me.
If the mod is the problem, please tell me what to do to fix it.
Latest recommended forge fixed the earlier bug I was having, however...
I have now noticed something unusual and another 2 bugs relating to the sticky comparator and repeater (images on request)
Unusual, may be a future suggestion:
1. The sticky comparators and repeaters have to be inline they can't work on block indents or around a block like the paste, you actually have to expand the area to allow paste to connect inline.
Sticky Repeater bugs:
2. They don't seem to power inline blocks the way the vanilla ones do.
3. It sets the same delay on the redstone before the repeater as after it, rather than the vanilla just affecting the redstone after it.
Bug 3 has an interesting quirk, if you use it to power a sticky piston from a redstone torch using the piston's block to remove the torch, it pulses instantly, as soon as you add a sticky repeater to extend and boost the redstone signal, the sticky piston suddenly becomes a t flip-flop...
The torch pulse trips the piston and the block moves, with the piston instantly retracting without the block. placing a torch in the space trips it again grabbing the block and returning to the initial position.
Additional item suggestions:
Redstone Piston - With power pass-through, a piston pair (sticky and normal) that has power on the piston plate once extended - could additionally check if the block powered is a piston waiting for it to power down and retract before retracting and pulsing 2 ticks of redstone power to the top.
This would be good for multi piston doors, pop up lamps, etc.
Redstone Post, free-standing iron and redstone post like a single oak/nether fence post, this would pass redstone power from the block it is attached to to the other end, good for lamp posts, free-standing redstone connections, etc.
This could link together in a similar manner to how your Hopper Ducts interconnect.
I have a serious problem with this mod, i guess nobody uses a server these days, but i do. On that server i succesfully added the redstone paste, a few weeks ago, and i started immediately take the advantage of this mod, 'painting' every house, tower, shed, castle, streetlights, tunnels etc. etc. I have now about 40 or more structures that makes good use of the ability that redstonpaste offers. Yesterday when my daughter was playing besides me, she added some structures and pixelart, and at that time i shut my server down and start from another port number MC server but because of another mod (shaders) i wanted to try, but this time without forge, so only MC-SERVER in it's startup command. I forgot to copy the complete serverfolder and made the adjustment to server.properties. I never thought that it would remove all the redstone paste everywhere. I really hope you want to look into this because it should not actually happen, or maybe it does, but can you and are you willing to look for a solution? Fortunately i keep daily automatic backup on my Windows 2012 server, so i could restore from 6 days till two days ago.
I am running a modpack that is basically a combination of FTB Lite + Magic Farm 3, and if I add this mod to a clean install the server hangs at startup. It doesn't even crash.

Hey! I made a video on your mod for you! Check it out here:
Redstone paste behaves differently than standard redstone.
The lever on the left has activated the redstone; the lever on the right has not activated the paste. Have I missed something?
Paste should be glued on the block where is the lever for it to interact, clever tricks to do with that paste.
Or for the remote connectivity in a confined space use either of these:
Both of the above should work fine.
I just wish the Paste was fixed to so that it powers the Redstone capable blocks it is attached to rather than just acting as a surface transfer akin to a repeater.
I figured out that I needed to paste it to the bottom of the block with the lever last night, but thanks guys!
And yeah coolio_wolfus I've noticed a bit of odd behaviour where I expected paste to power something but it doesn't.

cool I'm glad to hear your mods are not at fault here. Btw keep up the good work I'm really loving hopper ducts and flux ducts.

May i request an API for this? I'd love to integrate this with a mod I'm working on.

I don't really see the usefulness of the half slab thing.
You don't see the usefulness in being able to use vertical half slabs to conceal redstone wiring in lets say walls?
Considering it still takes up quite a lot of room no.
Fair enough, I just wish I could use the vertical slabs even without circuits.
Simple place circuit place vertical slab and remove circuit.
There must be some serious mod conflicts.
