TheLocken have formed a Mod team
I hear Pauljoda is the mod maker and he is working on the Knights and Castle Mod
Unfortunately at this time I cannot offer my services to this mod team. At the moment, I am currently keeping up with Modular Furnaces, Mob Tools, and developing a new mod that should be pretty cool. That being said, I don't have the time to take on such a huge project alone. If some other mod authors were to take the brunt I could easily offer my assistance however I can not lead the charge.
Not that this relates at all to this mod, but thought you guys might be interested in what I'm working on. I present to you, a preview of "Vulcan's Revenge"
Everytime I relog, I have to set the input slot in the modular IO block. It doesn't seem to save it. Fuel works, not sure about output since I don't use it.
If anybody knows how to make mods PM me.

I'm think about letting the furnace either be built by any block or add more. If you think I should add more what should they be? Do you think I should make it any block, marine excluding a few?
ooooo you should add other metal block support. like, new thaumcraft thaumium blocks and flesh blocks and tallow blocks. but if thats not possible you NEED to add copper, tin, aluminum, quartz, silver, and lead support
this seams to be an intresting mod, only add more blocks (so more effects) can be used for the furnace. if i were you i would add more block for build the furnace like gold and lapis blocks

I'm actually working on a config option to add in the id of the blocks. May or may not do it but mod integration is not something i'm really looking into. I like the idea though

What do you mean by the furnace? Do you mean the actual part that smelts the items or just the block used to build the frame?
How about making an alloy furnace to make new metals or a furnace that burns hotter than the other furnaces to melt metal? That could be useful for mod intergration.Yes I know you said you didn't want to do that but that's what I came up with.Maybe make it so you need to make the lower tier furnaces first to build the higher tier ones.

The blocks it is made of. I want to add more blocks so that those who like using the textures of their resource pack can use it for decoration. Not sure though. As for an alloy furnace, perhaps I shall look into a way to double ores much like tinkers construct. Then, I can use the ore dictionary and make it possible to smelt all the different copper ores into just one type of copper. We shall see though
I have starting brainstorming an idea for a new type of furnace. It would have its own core and would only be able to ore process. It will have crushing and smelting in one multiblock, allowing for you to pipe in ores and pipe out bars. You will not however, be able to obtain the dusts for you can't just reach into the machine and pull it out. Thats dangerous. I have my reasons (easier code). I will try using the ore dictionary and this will enable you to turn those 3 different types of tin ore we all end up with into one type of bar. I would like to bounce this idea off you guys to see what you think and how it should work. Let me know what you guys think. I personally like the idea as I have been playing my own set up forge environment for 1.6.4 and without mod pack makers changing it so it works with multiple tin ores it can get annoying.

Can you elaborate on this idea?
