question about the config of the mod. im working on a mod pack and i wanted to know if there is a way to edit the odds of something dropping out of a seive. like make oak saplings seeds drop out of dirt less then 1% of the time. something like that
Individual items? No, though you can reduce the chances of getting drops by increasing frustration in the config file. However, that means that you reduce the drop chances of ALL items gained through the sieve.

Not with the configs, but you can add 2 mods and..
You can get all fancy and add, remove and tweak drops and percentages from the sieve using Mine Tweaker and Mod Tweaker.

I'm having issues with the void generation. I assumed (incorrectly, possibly) that I could just turn on void generation for the overworld and I would create a new world and it would be void but have biomes. When I use regular vanilla gen or BoP I just get a regular old world. Am I not understanding how this is supposed to work?
Do the Ex Nihilo items have names to use with the /give command, or do I have to use numbers, and if numbers, where do I find them?
I want to be able to hand over some things with command blocks, and it'd be nice to be able to say things like /give @p spruce_sieve

My YouTube channel is currently on hiatus, but I hope to get back to it at some point. Content is fairly random, but can be enjoyable, and is mostly game footage (mostly random Minecraft clips) from my nephews and me. Most popular MC vid so far is the one Vechs laughed at on Twitter!
From what I understand about 1.7, you need to use the name it uses in the code.
That would be fine... where is a list of these names? Do people have to know how to code in java and open up a mod's code in order to hand over modded items or what?

She understands that. She's wondering where to find the unique names to use.
Kilyle, I believe bkpscore will generate a Unique Names file to reference. Since you use Treecapitator, you should already have that in your configs. Look for the file called Uniquenames. Now, I can't remember for sure if every mod's items are stored there, but I think it is.

Totally forgot about this; thank you for reminding me. I have it working now.
Have gotten advanced enough to have command blocks give custom mod items with enchantments, names, and colors; gleeeee!
ETA: Say, Red Sand doesn't seem to give any item drops when sifted. This is going to kill my "stuck in a red desert" setup for the Elemental map I'm working on. Can you fix it to give it a set of drops that is configgable separately from the normal sand drops, but starts off identical to regular sand?
ETA2: On further thought, it's pretty obvious that red sand should have increased drops of iron (and possibly other reddish materials, such as copper). To compensate, lower drops of other stuff, maybe? Though... you can't get red sand from breaking stone. Maybe in 1.8 you could get red sand from breaking granite?

Argh, this lack of red-sand sifting is making it difficult for me to field test the Fire portion of my map. I do want to have it as red sand and not a normal desert....
I've figured out how to use Minetweaker to add and disable recipes... is there any simple way to make red sand give sifting drops, other than just letting you convert red sand to regular sand?

It should be possible to add a sieve recipe with Minetweaker for red sand. Since it'd be a new recipe, it'll be fully customized with your choice of drops. Unfortunately, I don't know enough about the mod to be able to walk you through how to do it.
Hello, I'm Kel_Co and I am building a modpack with your mod, called Better Survival +, just wanted to let you know if you are interested. It should be out on feed the beast by mid-November, so look through the forums in third party packs for the modpack name. I will hopefully be entering it in the 1.7.10 Jampacked team competition.
thank you for making this mod, in the cracked zombies mod they took out every hostile mob but zombies and spiders, and i need gunpowder to make ammo for the blusterbuss in Balkon's weapon mod so thank you.

Personally I have used Ender IO and Extra Utilities without any problems for 1.7.10
Input cobblestone or other materials in the top and extract fluid from the sides.
