And in game the player gets the same message, where whould have a message about permission.
And in another side, sometimes on player change world, the itens inside a backpack, if selected on sidebar, drops after the world ends to load. No errors or console logs :/
Edit: And whats the changelog for that 3.5.2 ?
Asking because seems fixed the backpack vanishing (and causing that pemrissions issues) if placed on walls and then reboot the server.
I'm wondering if it's possible to move the Sort button so it's available when you just right-click a backpack, instead of having to move it to the hotbar first?
Or (something I realize may not be possible implement Quark's inventory management buttons (scroll down to Chest management) for normal backpack inventories?
There's six, which let players move large quantities of items from one inventory to another really fast. They feel pretty natural to me now and I miss them when I'm in the backpacks inventories.

Ey Brad, I've been using this mod for a while. Definitely my favorite backpacks.
However, I am working on a pack that will involve a lot of use of this mod as well as Factory Inventory, and I noticed that some other mods' backpacks could interact with its inventory hoppers, but this one could not. Now, I wouldn't say that it is by any means required for these things to work together, but if it is an easy change, I would appreciate if you made it, and Max has indicated that it is something on your end. Smart Hoppers' pouches and Inventory Generators' generators are functional examples of inventory storage code that works with them, if it is useful.

You can open the 'full' backpack interface by holding down shift when you right-click.
I'll try to add sort buttons to the lightweight interface next time I work on the mod.

I had a look but I don't see anyway to get the Player or the World from within the ItemStack Capabilities system so I wouldn't be able to load the backpack data (if there is a way that I missed let me know).
Hi I have a bug that I'm not sure has been addressed but it's pretty annoying. I'm not sure exactly why it occurs, but on some rare occasions your backback, along with literally everything in your inventory will disappear and the message "the backpack you tried to open could not be found at this time" will appear. I'm not sure if those are the exact words, but its something along those lines. Is a fix for this in the works? Thanks.

Sounds like the client and server getting out of sync, if that's the case reconnecting to the server (or if playing single player 'Save and Exit' followed by reloading the World) should bring all your items back.
If your items stay gone after reconnecting/reloading then there's probably something else going on that may have nothing to do with my mod (i.e. your items have already been removed on the server but your client doesn't know it yet, when you try to open a backpack my mod can't find the backpack you were trying to open so shows the message and refreshes your client revealing the fact that your items have been removed).
The client and server can occasionally get out of sync when using this mod, but I'm not familiar with any inventory clearing bugs.
Do you think you could add a config option or something to change up the upgrade system to be more tiered? I love the features of your backpacks, especially the ability to open the backpack from your inventory but I don't like how easy it is to upgrade, and I know I can change the recipe, but I want it to be a tiered upgrade system like Iron Backpacks for example.

You can change the sizes of upgraded backpack by changing "Backpack heights" and "Backpack widths" in the config.
I'll consider adding a tiered list of 'upgrade items' next time I work on the mod.
I lost power while playing and my PC turned off. When I logged back in to my world all my backpacks are there but they are empty and not upgraded (3 rows). The Names and colors are still what they were. Is there a way to get back all the stuff that was in them? I tried placing them on a wall but it did not affect them. All other inventory (chests, held stuff, equipped items) is unchanged. Only the items in the backpacks were lost.
Version is MC v1.12.2, Forge 14.23.4.2725, Backpacks 3.5.2
Side note, even though I am freaking out at the moment over the days worth of stuff that just disappeared, I love this mod and appreciate you making it. Thanks.

Hi,
Having this problem when the player try to interact with a non own backpack:
And in game the player gets the same message, where whould have a message about permission.
And in another side, sometimes on player change world, the itens inside a backpack, if selected on sidebar, drops after the world ends to load. No errors or console logs :/

Where are the backpacks stored(file wise)? Say I want to restore a backpack from a backup.
Could you create a github for issues. Searching through this forum is almost impossible with the popups and such.
Thank you,
not_loki
Backpack data is stored in (world)\data\BCMod-Items.dat
Why do you store player data in dimension-specific directory?
Because that's where the WorldSavedData system saves global data.
Ahha. Thanks.
似乎与LittleMaidReengaged不兼容。
女仆拿起物品时,mod会崩溃。

I've released 3.5.2 on Curse.
This has been fixed in 3.5.2
