Hello! I don't know if this was already brought up, and if it was I apologize but
for some reason I get this weird border around my character when I use this mod?
I think it may be because I use the 3 pixel arm model, the alex one because
my friends who use this mod don't have the same problem (they use steve)? Ill put a picture below for reference
but If someone could let me know why this happens, and if I can fix it (without using a steve model) that would be
fantastic!! (It happens with a normal sized character as well)
Does the 3D pixel arm mod also edit the character model?
If so, there's your problem right there.
You can't use two mods to edit the character model at the same time and expect them to play nicely together. It just doesn't work. They're both trying to use the same information in your minecraft and they can't both control the same thing.

Its not a mod, minecraft itself has a Alex skin and Steve skin model
so the female and male version you can use. Here is a quote from Mojang
"Skin models
If you've not uploaded a custom skin, you'll have either the classic "Steve" skin or the newer "Alex" skin, which features slimmer arms. Which default skin that you get is randomly based on your account ID and cannot be changed. This skin is also shown when you don't have a connection to the skin servers.
You can create your own skin based on either model using the reference templates below:
Slim-armed skins are only fully supported in version 1.8 and higher; if you have a slim-armed skin selected in a version prior, you will see black pixels on the arms."
So I use the "Alex" model which is as default as the steve model and is not a Mod.
If this mod doesn't support the Default Alex model thats okay the border doesnt bother me a lot
I would just like to be able to get rid of this "border" without using a steve model because I like the slimmer

feel for my female skins! thank you for the help
Right, I am familiar with the Alex model provided by Minecraft.
I misunderstood, I suppose it was the reference "3 Pixel Arm" that threw me off. Haha!
Also you don't mention what version you are using either, that may be helpful.

Im using 1.12.2 so are my friends. They use the steve model and dont have this problem
Im wondering if it is the Alex model? maybe its not supported?
I wouldn't say that it's so much 'not supported'.
You know, you can always use the Steve model and use More Player Models to edit the Steve model in the way you'd like. Including thinning out Steve to look like Alex.

I'm using 1.7.10 and whenever I change into ANYTHING other than the player model--for example, a wolf--I still have the player's skin. First, I thought it was my custom skin causing the problem, but setting the skin back to the default Steve just made me have the steve skin on my wolf form. No other wolves in the game have this problem. I've searched throughout this thread and seen multiple people mention this, but I haven't been able to find any actual answers to those posts.

I remember a bug like this occurring, though I don't remember when it was a problem. This might've been it.
Not sure if it was ever truly resolved in older versions though, did you try redownloading the version?
I hate to say it, if redownloading doesn't resolve the issue it's just something that you'll either have to accept is a thing and continue to 'wolf' or avoid using the model altogether.
Being a much older version I'm afraid it's not going to receive a fix since old versions are no longer supported.

Recently, my emote buttons haven't been working. They work outside the game and when I enter the chat, but when I press them to emote, they don't work. I've tried switching them around, but nothing works.
After some more research, I realized that the whole of the mod seems to be bugging out for me when it worked before

Can't do much with a "It doesn't work"

so I use this mod for 1.12.2 version and I only have 3 buttons for mpm 1,2 ,3. When I click config and then edit buttons, I can change animations up to 5 but the last 2 wont show any buttons. Is there a way I can add buttons for mpm 4 and 5?
I've looked online EVERYWHERE, and my problem doesn't seem to be resolved. My HD skins- don't work. I do all the right things, but they don't seem to work and just turn to a Steve. Here is literally my last option. Please help. (I'm also using a texture pack and that is the Steve skin.) This is also with other people's HD skins.
The custom wing texture displays black where any transparent pixels are even though the skin is properly saved. (I am using pain.net which is not anything like ms paint) I can 100% confirm it's not an error on my end because the skin is working properly other than that including the snout and tail textures.
Also it would be nice if all six faces of the dragon tail could be customized as the scale of the texture is fairly small and maybe allow for solid skin textures for every bodypart instead of exclusively the head.

Snout and Tail doesn't require a portion of transparency though. Ears do however.
What file-format is your skin because even if you use Photoshop you can still lose the transparency during the save and upload process if not saved in the right format.

I'm saving the file as a png file and it has clothing layers with transparency which are working correctly. My guess is this is Minecraft's fault because transparent body textures aren't allowed and will be filled with black. The fix for this is to use a skin url from mojang's site which you can get with these steps:
1) Go to the url here (limited to once per minute per UUID): https://sessionserver.mojang.com/session/minecraft/profile/INSERT_YOUR_UUID_HERE
2) Find the "textures" value which is a bunch of letters and numbers and copy the whole thing.
3) Base64 decode it. If you have Notepad++ you can use the Mime Tools plugin which is built in to Base64 decode it or you can find a Base64 encoder/decoder online.
4) When you decode it there will be another set of values. Find the url value for the SKIN value and copy the url. This is the url linked to your Minecraft skin which you can use in the custom skin url.
Every time you change your skin you have to repeat the whole thing if you want the transparency in the wings to remain.
NOTE: Every time you relaunch Minecraft you will have to edit your preset and go to options and then find the skin url option and put any character at the end and then delete it and save the options for the preset. This will update the skin and remove the black textures around the wings.
This is intended. This mod is Purely Cosmetic, and will never have scaling hitboxes
What about how hard it is to gauge a hitbox location on a giant player? at least have a child mod that allows the hitbox to warp based on your height and weight. not to disrespect, but i found this this looking for a gulliver mod remake...

would there be any possibility of adding custom sounds to the mod? that way there is even more sounds if your character is a robot and stuff like that
