Well mostly to allow way more customization than was possible with the pixel drawing. Its also way easier to use for players.

Letting a Server Side edition handle the viewing of other's models, instead of the mod itself???
I'm just a lil' confused by this... But it doesn't really matter I guess.... I was just under the impression that non-mod users would still get to see the wings, etc; because of the plugin and not because they had the mod. :\ *shrugs* Sadly many of my players seem they can't get Forge installed properly, and others who haven't tried are reluctant from those stories... >.<; i was hoping all that could've been avoided.

Can you release a mod with just the solid hair option? I really like that and I think it would make a really good mod by itself.
Well you see that mod would not be compatible with this mod so no :P. Also I might or might not have stolen the solid headwear idea from another mod.....

Idk? He selected the horse legs like I use and was wearing a cape when he switched to the horse. He tried to relog, I tried to relog... He recolored it blue... But other than that, and wearing a cape from some other mod, didn't do anything. Every other option seems to work fine though.
This player turned themselves into a cow... we tried the reloging, relocating, jumping, etc; No luck
This time the player tried the blue Horse body like the last one:
My horse half looks fine to everyone else but to me, every new horse body that appears seems to be bugging out.. :\ The player tried reapplying the horse body in white, but it remained buggy for me.
Player then tried the spider... Not sure what color they were trying to use for it, but I saw this...
UPDATE: Restarting my own minecraft completely allows these to display properly again.

Thanks that might help me locating the bug. It appears the spiderlegs are using the naga texture for some reason.

If I recall, the player had the naga legs on before trying the horse and spiderlegs. Only reason i could figure when they both appeared the be green like the naga...

So i've discovered the restarting of my Minecraft does not fix the mob visual being stuck in the floor. :\ Just a little more info there

I certainly would not want my players flying around or climbing walls just because they've got wings or spider legs! This was brought up in V1 too, and Noppe turned it down then as I am sure he'll turn it down now..
This is an aesthetics mod, nothing more... If it were to become something like that, flying and climbing walls... I'd have to restrict it's use on my server, and I don't want that...
