I was going by the "very useful" part of Reika's question. Yes it has some other uses, but not many that I have found very useful in most cases. Though that may have changed given how many changes BOP, PR, and GT have been making lately.

I'm baaaaack! And I come bearing a small bug.
Of course a still image doesn't terribly do it justice, so I'll explain: Both the Fractionalizanatoritisosiser and the Grinder are receiving full power from the bevel gears (as powered by an Industrial Coil), despite the gears being pointed only at the Fractionalizationajiggy. Known bug? It happened when I swapped the bevel gears via the UI from the Grinder to the Fractioneatingbugbear. Shutting off the power supply, strangely, seems to make the Grinder run free and perpetually off nothing (I checked the Coil and it's not outputting).
Also, this:
The worlds first silent microturbine apparatus? I've found, as one who enjoys a degree of peace and quiet, that the noise cancelling block from ExtraUtils is probably my best friend when working with Microturbines. Just a fun little note for anyone, like me, who enjoys some degree of silence. It's not perfect, as sometimes the odd screech from the turbine slips through, but better than 100% of the time hearing that banshee of an engine.
Anyways, another thing, and it's regarding my earlier suggestion for easier Jet Fuel: Having read up on the requirements for making it IRL, everything I suggested is pretty much a nope.avi - holy crap is there a lot of steps requiring finely controlled systems and precise measurements. If anything, you've made it easier. @_@
That said, is it possible to automate the Fractionalisfbwuwafsdgbvnuawosd-thing with automatic item input? Hoppers don't do it unfortunately.
Oh, and one other thing, and I'm sure it's been mentioned, but the Angular Transducer completely wipes chat history, which sucks because I got a weird error message in-game that might be relevant to the first part of this post that's not probably lost. I'll check the server-side logs to see if it's there.

I have never seen that before. Are you sure it is not just a client-side error? To test this, reproduce the issue, and then close and reload the world (you do not need to reload Minecraft).

The microturbine is the quietest of the engines. I think you are in for a shock when you try the jet engine.

For example, magma cream (Fire Resistance potions) is the counterpart to the additives that raise the flashpoint (to reduce the risk of fire on spillage or in a crash).

It will be in the logs. The transducer clears the chat because it is otherwise extremely inconvenient or impossible to use, especially when there is a message being spammed.
I have never seen that before. Are you sure it is not just a client-side error? To test this, reproduce the issue, and then close and reload the world (you do not need to reload Minecraft).
Hmmm... I can't seem to test it conclusively, but it's easilly reproduced and if it *is* client-side, it would appear to be superficially so, since I produced 5 stacks of Tar Sand before I noticed (which haven't ghosted out the way of client-side items). It seems me disconnecting from the server unloads the chunk, which resets the power net on next login. Might work better if I had some sort of chunk loader magic going on. I also tested it in single player and the same thing occurs, and again stops occuring when I save and quit and reload the world. So yeah... It might be specific to the grinder, as I've been unable to reproduce it with other machines.
EDIT: Cursory tests indicate that yes, it is specific to the Grinder.

Hmmm... I smell cross-mod combatibility efforts with MineChem. Or maybe I'm woozy from all the jet fuel fumes in my admittedly well-ventilated open-roofed workshack.
If not a simpler recipe, what about a more complicated one using higher-tier refined materials? Like distilling Magma Cream into a more refined additive, thus resulting in more produced per cycle at the cost of extra steps? As a general rule, when working with chemicals, you get better results from more pure inputs. (I learned that one the hard way in chemistry class. My group mate neglected to mention he'd not washed out a test tube properly [we were making esters if I recall correctly; since the school was on a budget we had to wash and reuse the same tubes each time]. *Something* from the previous attempt reacted and, well. My lab partner went unconscious and I threw up, and the classroom had to be evacutated.)

Hrmmm... I can't seem to find it in the logs, which kinda sucks. I'll see if I can't re-create what I was doing when it popped up and hopefully get a definitive cause for you, or whoever is in need of the knowing of that.
From the vauge recollection, it was something about an illegal slot when trying to put water (from an extrautils drum, via a liquid node) into one of your Resivoirs, which in turn was feeding into a Fermenter through your liquid pipes (which, if memory serves, was my solution to not being able to Liquid node directly from drum to Fermenter).
EDIT: I think it was caused by lag, with the Liquid Node trying to insert more water into the Reservoir that it could hold. I wouldn't put too much weight on this one, since I CNR.

Of course a still image doesn't terribly do it justice, so I'll explain: Both the Fractionalizanatoritisosiser and the Grinder are receiving full power from the bevel gears (as powered by an Industrial Coil), despite the gears being pointed only at the Fractionalizationajiggy. Known bug? It happened when I swapped the bevel gears via the UI from the Grinder to the Fractioneatingbugbear. Shutting off the power supply, strangely, seems to make the Grinder run free and perpetually off nothing (I checked the Coil and it's not outputting).

The worlds first silent microturbine apparatus? I've found, as one who enjoys a degree of peace and quiet, that the noise cancelling block from ExtraUtils is probably my best friend when working with Microturbines. Just a fun little note for anyone, like me, who enjoys some degree of silence. It's not perfect, as sometimes the odd screech from the turbine slips through, but better than 100% of the time hearing that banshee of an engine.
Anyways, another thing, and it's regarding my earlier suggestion for easier Jet Fuel: Having read up on the requirements for making it IRL, everything I suggested is pretty much a nope.avi - holy crap is there a lot of steps requiring finely controlled systems and precise measurements. If anything, you've made it easier. @_@
That said, is it possible to automate the Fractionalisfbwuwafsdgbvnuawosd-thing with automatic item input? Hoppers don't do it unfortunately.
Oh, and one other thing, and I'm sure it's been mentioned, but the Angular Transducer completely wipes chat history, which sucks because I got a weird error message in-game that might be relevant to the first part of this post that's not probably lost. I'll check the server-side logs to see if it's there.

I have never seen that before. Are you sure it is not just a client-side error? To test this, reproduce the issue, and then close and reload the world (you do not need to reload Minecraft).
The microturbine is the quietest of the engines. I think you are in for a shock when you try the jet engine.
Very much so, though I tried to remain as realistic as possible; each ingredient corresponds to an additive (or group of additives) that perform a function similar to the item's properties. For example, magma cream (Fire Resistance potions) is the counterpart to the additives that raise the flashpoint (to reduce the risk of fire on spillage or in a crash).
I just made it so it will.
It will be in the logs. The transducer clears the chat because it is otherwise extremely inconvenient or impossible to use, especially when there is a message being spammed.
Keep an eye on the core temperatures.

Hmmm... I can't seem to test it conclusively, but it's easilly reproduced and if it *is* client-side, it would appear to be superficially so, since I produced 5 stacks of Tar Sand before I noticed (which haven't ghosted out the way of client-side items). It seems me disconnecting from the server unloads the chunk, which resets the power net on next login. Might work better if I had some sort of chunk loader magic going on. I also tested it in single player and the same thing occurs, and again stops occuring when I save and quit and reload the world. So yeah... It might be specific to the grinder, as I've been unable to reproduce it with other machines.
EDIT: Cursory tests indicate that yes, it is specific to the Grinder.
This setup has both Grinders working and the fireworks display as well.

If not a simpler recipe, what about a more complicated one using higher-tier refined materials? Like distilling Magma Cream into a more refined additive, thus resulting in more produced per cycle at the cost of extra steps? As a general rule, when working with chemicals, you get better results from more pure inputs. (I learned that one the hard way in chemistry class. My group mate neglected to mention he'd not washed out a test tube properly [we were making esters if I recall correctly; since the school was on a budget we had to wash and reuse the same tubes each time]. *Something* from the previous attempt reacted and, well. My lab partner went unconscious and I threw up, and the classroom had to be evacutated.)

Hrmmm... I can't seem to find it in the logs, which kinda sucks. I'll see if I can't re-create what I was doing when it popped up and hopefully get a definitive cause for you, or whoever is in need of the knowing of that.
From the vauge recollection, it was something about an illegal slot when trying to put water (from an extrautils drum, via a liquid node) into one of your Resivoirs, which in turn was feeding into a Fermenter through your liquid pipes (which, if memory serves, was my solution to not being able to Liquid node directly from drum to Fermenter).
EDIT: I think it was caused by lag, with the Liquid Node trying to insert more water into the Reservoir that it could hold. I wouldn't put too much weight on this one, since I CNR.
