Hi all. I'm having trouble with the spawner controller in v23b. It is WAYY too overpowered. With just two gas engines (131.072KW) and no gears (512 rads) it spawns 100s of mobs in just a few seconds. Any ideas?

I did some troubleshooting and installed a fresh instance with the latest version of Forge and only Reika mods loaded. Still had the same behaviour.

After more testing I'm pretty sure it's a bug. I've submitted a bug report on github. Has anyone else noticed this issue?

Hi everyone,

Just updated to v24a (haven't played in a while either) and I now see that i need liquid ethanol in the fractational machine.

To get said liquid ethanol, is it just a matter of building and using the rock melter to turn the ethanol crystals into liquid form?

Can I convert the raw sludge directly into liquid ethanol?

Once i figure this out I can get back to building the materials i need to make microturbines to finally make Cd-In-Ag ingots to make my fission cores.

In addition, upon loading my world, I get an openGl error in the console: "1282 invalid operation". Is this a known bug?

What logs would be useful to you if you need to review them Reika?

You need to use ethanol crystals, yes. There is no other way to get liquid ethanol. Beware you also need pink dye and coal dust, not coal.

I've encountered a crash, which is present in both v23 and v24 (see below for crash report running v24). I am running the following of your mods:

• Chromaticraft
• DragonAPI
• ElectriCraft
• RotaryCraft
• ReactorCraft

The crash occurs so long as all of the following mods are present. If any one of these mods is absent, then the crash does not occur.

• Buildcraft Compat
• EnderIO
• Waila

This crash does not occur when running v22

Happy holidays y'all. I was googling modpacks centered around Reika's mods because of update hype and noticed Reika mentioned having a private pack with custom balancing they were thinking about releasing, but that was a few years ago and I don't see anything since. Did nothing ever come of that? It would be nice to have something cohesive like that now that 1.7.10 packs have been left to the wayside, for the most part. The piecemeal outfits I can throw together myself doesn't really live up to what talented people with a stronger grasp of mechanics can throw together and is really the only downside, to me, of hanging back in oldcraft.

Either way, thanks to Reika, if you see this, for the mods themselves, still great stuff!

Dragon Realm (Said custom pack) will almost certainly never be publicly released due to some unfortunate factors. I have a pack that's similar in scope to what you're looking for if you're willing to try, though it's not completely done yet so it'd be best over PM.

I reinstalled the pack and put only the DragonAPI jar along the default FTB Infinity mods to rule out any funny interactions with mods I've added to the pack like Aether II and Traincraft, but the problem still remains. Rolling back to v22d fixes the issue. I didn't see anything out of the ordinary on the logs, and the game doesn't crash, just makes the sky look really ugly if I'm not using any shaders. Loading SEUS' shaders fixes it, but also turns my FPS into Seconds Per Frame :(., so any help would be appreciated.

That's a normal seasonal thing, meant to imitate the sky turning into a snowstorm that will never come. Wait until after Christmas/Holiday time.

On a side note, I'm have a major issue trying to get the Chromaticraft casting delegate to function (at all) I have it positioned correctly above the casting table with the particle effects showing, it is fully charged and in LOS with a multi aura repeater. I have tried it with a chest above it, to the side of it etc etc and connected to my ME system to try that method. It will not craft any item when fed all the required materials. Is there any other item required to be added to the casting temple for it to function? I have got as far as entering the dimension, but I am yet to find, let alone complete any of the puzzles there..
