Just a heads up that I have suffered a drive failure in my main storage drive, that held - along with 1TB of other things - my entire dev environment.
However, the drive failure is in the USB controller, and has (probably temporarily) resolved itself, during which time I have been furiously making backups. At the time of this writing, the entire dev environment, and the majority of my other data, has been copied, and as such nothing of high importance should be irretrievably lost.
The fact I need to deal with this, however, has created something of a delay.

So the backup saga is probably done; everything has been copied over to a backup drive (except for a couple files generated since then) and everything has been copied to the replacement main (now 2TB) drive.
What that means is I can once again launch my dev environment, and other programs, and as such I should now be able to proceed as normal.
In the meantime, I have to figure out what to do with the old drive, which, despite being 10-12 years old with 53k power-on hours, and having a SATA-USB interface that is probably at least partially faulty, is marked as having zero faults, and <1% wear, in the actual drive by CrystalDiskInfo, and thus feels like something I should hold onto.
I am considering turning it into a backup drive, to use as a secondary backup drive (alongside the "main" backup drive).

This may be a stupid question, but how exactly do I get the different chroma types into machines such as the Enchantment Decomposer? And how can I cheat my way to fully complete the "Structure Keys" entry? I suspect that filling that out is needed to turbocharge the pylon's respective color.

"Chroma types"? While chroma can be dyed, that has no use inside any construct.

Also, shortly before my hard disk problems, I was working on a new system in DragonAPI.
Reika, I have been wondering what resource pack you usually use? I have been using Faithful 32 ME for 1.7.10, which works fine with your icon textures if I load the resource pack whilst already in game, but when it is loaded prior to launching, some of your textures, namely certain upgrade items turn invisible with purple opposing corners.
Hey, is there any info about the crystal blooms? i thought they would work like normal crops, but idk if im doing something wrong but i only get impure seeds from harvesting (by right clicking) on the blooms. i barely ever get the shards- i got 2 katrino shards but none other kinds of shard, from a couple harvests already. are shard drops from fully grown crystal blooms supposed too be very rare? do they need nearby supporting plants or structures too aid them? i cant figure it out
The only thing that increases it, is to use better (pure?) shards, which can sometimes drop like impure shards. Has a minor condition to drop, which was... the plant needs to be surrounded by other plants of the same type? Can't remember.
Also, maybe enrichment vines would increase it as well...

I realise I will have to load additional chunks for pylons etc, also rolled back my AE2 related mods to RV2 versions, but I am having an issue with extracells2 liquids.. For instance, the export busses will no longer export their target fluid to their output (this gets messy where liquid nitrogen is involved) and as an example, I can no longer extract say a bucket of jet fuel or what have you from liquid terminals..
I realise I must be doing something wrong, but I would just love to be able to add chromaticraft in to the pack. As it stands I have to keep it disabled to play.
Reika, I have been wondering what resource pack you usually use? I have been using Faithful 32 ME for 1.7.10, which works fine with your icon textures if I load the resource pack whilst already in game, but when it is loaded prior to launching, some of your textures, namely certain upgrade items turn invisible with purple opposing corners.

It's a little confusing what is and what is not compatible, especially, when like myself you haven't played modded minecraft for a good 3 or 4 years.
Also is Chromaticraft still incompatible with RV3 of AE?
It works fine with rv3 with v17 in the revolution pack, so it's been compatible for at least 2 years I'd say?
As for your issue, try creating a new world and see if the same issue happens there as well. I do remember running into an issue with fluids upon removing a mod, which caused fluid id's to be messed up. So maybe it's a similar case here.
ExtraCells-1.7.10-2.3.14b197 is used with ae2 rv2-stable10 in the sgdr pack and works just fine from my experience. Though I haven't actually used fluid export buses, just storage buses. Using the fluid terminal works just fine.

The issue was I had the fluid storage drives partitioned with the respective fluids (Liquid nitrogen and jet fuel) and once chromaticraft was enabled, those fluids became a potion and chroma and would not let me interact with them till I had removed the precise partitioning from the respective drives.. Now to enjoy chromaticraft

Anything that requires CrC progression to harvest cannot be acquired by any autominer that is not the boring machine or the mineral extractor. This is because those other machines have no way to check progression.
Just a heads up that I have suffered a drive failure in my main storage drive, that held - along with 1TB of other things - my entire dev environment.
However, the drive failure is in the USB controller, and has (probably temporarily) resolved itself, during which time I have been furiously making backups. At the time of this writing, the entire dev environment, and the majority of my other data, has been copied, and as such nothing of high importance should be irretrievably lost.
The fact I need to deal with this, however, has created something of a delay.
The backup continues, this time onto the replacement drive (it is all copied over to the backup drive now)....
I am getting a crash when I attempt to install the new versions. Any help would be greatly appreciated
So the backup saga is probably done; everything has been copied over to a backup drive (except for a couple files generated since then) and everything has been copied to the replacement main (now 2TB) drive.
What that means is I can once again launch my dev environment, and other programs, and as such I should now be able to proceed as normal.
In the meantime, I have to figure out what to do with the old drive, which, despite being 10-12 years old with 53k power-on hours, and having a SATA-USB interface that is probably at least partially faulty, is marked as having zero faults, and <1% wear, in the actual drive by CrystalDiskInfo, and thus feels like something I should hold onto.
I am considering turning it into a backup drive, to use as a secondary backup drive (alongside the "main" backup drive).
This may be a stupid question, but how exactly do I get the different chroma types into machines such as the Enchantment Decomposer? And how can I cheat my way to fully complete the "Structure Keys" entry? I suspect that filling that out is needed to turbocharge the pylon's respective color.
"Chroma types"? While chroma can be dyed, that has no use inside any construct.

You can use RV3 with ChromatiCraft. Just disable "export item names" in the config.
