This is the error. Is there a Turbine Dynamo connected to the turbine? If so, remove it, and see if it fixes the spam.
Hi yes its a rotatianal dynamo (Thermal Expansion type) connected. I removed the dynamo and turbine and replaced the turbine only , and still there is a problem.

The twitch/curse integration broke, combined with my browser losing its session data (and thus its login cookies that kept me logged in on all the sites). So when I tried to log back into curse, I got redirected to twitch. First it asked for two-factor auth, which is an enormous pain for me.
After having solved that, it asked me to authorize the connection:
Giving said authorization, however, failed:
At the time it happened - mid September - I assumed it was a curse issue and left it for a while, and just worked on v23 instead.
Eventually, I needed to log in, and the issue persisted. Only with a lot of testing and some help did it become clear that I had to purge all my curse/twitch cookies to log in again.

You can't use the rotational dynamo on a turbine from ReC, use the turbine generator (multiblock) instead, rossi910.

So I have created a new creative world (superflat), I only placed some lubricant hose, reservoir and turbine. The turbine is not connected to anything. Steam is spawned in from the creative Reactorcraft tab. There still seems to be some funny business going on.

Mods list: Forge, DragonAPI, Rotarycraft.
Reactorcraft, Electricraft and OpenComputers were installed when I first encountered the issue, but I removed the mods to do the testing.
I have confirmed that Liquid, Valve, Bypass, Separation, Suction and Bedrock pipes all crash when empty and all but Suction do not crash when full (unable to test Suction as I don't actually understand how it works, as far as I can tell it's for mod compatibility). Tested in a completely empty Superflat world, all pipes tested at y=4 (if that makes any difference).
Reproduction steps: Place any pipe, do not fill it with anything, right-click with Angular Transducer. The game will then crash.
(sorry if this has already been reported or is a known bug, checked back to June (start of Page 1247) and didn't see any reports)
Edit: Just checked MD5s of RotaryCraft, ReactorCraft and DragonAPI against the ones listed on curseforge (because I was getting weird missing textures on the containment pipes when they had the vandegraaf generator powering them) and they all match, so it's probably not corrupted mod files.

Also, what is the new shuriken shaped symbol you see when looking at the casting table with the elemental manipulator?

Just before the explosion I can hear some smoking sounds, so I think they're indeed getting hot for some reason.
The only explanation I can find is that water isn't spreading back when the containers remove it, but I can't replicate it consistently if that's the case.

Are you letting the steam escape? Run it into a scrubber, and don't let it vent to the atmosphere, or it will throw errors in chat.

Do you mean it makes the casting table run faster? If so that's really neat.
