I have a problem with this mod, only some mobs from it are spawning. There are a lot of Makas, Jousts and Arisaurs, plus some monsters in caves, but no birds, no water creatures, no predators like Feradons or Barghests, etc. I changed their spawn settings to higher values, but I see no effect. What else can be done with this issue? Mod version 1.12.2-2.0.3.1
Are you using any other mods that could affect spawning, like Mo' Creatures for example?
As for the second question, the answer is: depends which blocks are you reffering to For example ores have their own spawn config, the same goes with trees, etc.
I don't have Mo creatures, but I have Techguns, Millenaire , Ice & Fire and Ancient Warfare, they're all spawning mobs.

Hmm it could be that only peaceful mode mobs are spawning for some reason, Chupacabras which spawn in caves are farmable and so are allowed in peaceful difficulty (they are non-hostile in peaceful mode). Could another mod be doing this? Also is this a sponge server maybe?
Where can I find Shades? I haven't been able to find them in 1.12 at all. Although I've had no problem coming across chupacabras, which usually go hand-in-hand.

And, I think I feel like making suggestions, and there actually Elementals (I know there's 21, but I thought adding 2 bonus ones would make the mod so much more fun.).
Suggestion #1: A Virus Elemental called a Koeroenaa (Name comes from the word Corona.) Here's it's bio:
Dangerous Virus Elementals that apply Poison to everything around you! The poison it applies doesn't affect Undead mobs like Cryptkeepers. They somehow have a fondness for Steak, and it is unknown how.
Suggestion #2: A Psychic Elemental called a Méntioum (Greek for Psychic.) Here's the bio:
Méntioums are strange Psychic Elementals. They are rare in the Overworld but common in The End. They occasionally gravitate they're prey towards them while fighting, not to mention that they also levitate you when they hit you, and they have a fondness for Chorus Fruit (It doesn't matter if it's popped)!
Dare you accept these ideas? >:)
P.S. I made a concept of the Méntioum. Sorry if it looks a little off or simple.
Gonna be honest, banshees are ********. They're not that bad if you're in a large open area where you can see them coming but if you're in an enclosed space or tunnel there's no way to see them coming since the instant they pop out from a wall they're already on top of you. Plus them pulling and pushing you all over the place makes running away or maneuvering almost impossible. Just wanted to voice my thoughts and see if you might consider nerfing them.
There is a bug, which when you hit a mob, and your mate is in sweeping range, he takes the damage too(probably), but for sure he gets all debuffs from weapon you're wearing)
The weapon was:
pommel - vespid stinger
base - ent arm
head - wraith skull
pike - reiver horns
And the other problem is, that you cant use your shield with some lvl 3 parts, cuz of projectiles (or just i dont know how to use it then).
And you cant see the projectiles from weapon, or most of the mobs.
Im using 1.15.2 version.
Hello I seem to be having a problem where when I look at a creature it now causes an error in my theoneprobe or waila or something, the little box that tells you more about the creature and its name at the top of the screen essentially.
It appears as red text and mentions the lycanites mod. For some reason this has also affected my normal minecraft mobs. As it now also displays minecraft this error for them as well, and again mentions the lycanites mod in the error string.
I am running FTB Revelation 1.12.2 and have added schematica, world edit, mo-creatures and this mod since then.
I also can't seem to access the thaumcraft addon mod you have linked in your original post. It says that I'm forbidden to look at it.
I've exhausted most of my options so I'm looking to you for help now as it seems my issue can't be resolved by reading the forum posts.
How would I go about reverting the models to their original states? Don't get me wrong, the new models aren't bad- I just much prefer the older, more simplistic models as they feel more Minecraft-y to me.
Hostility: Extremely aggressive! (That means that it will attack anything that isn't an Aegis. They will even attack passive mobs and Snow Golems! Villagers and Iron Golems are exceptions however.)

Just one question, I noticed that knockback on player randomly breaks when hit by a blood leech, scorchfire or devilstar charge (from either a dispenser or mob for example) after getting hit again it randomly works again. This happens even when in creative mode! When deleting player data from world it also works again. Any ideas what could be causing it or if there is a faster workaround? Or advice on where to look further? Maybe it's another mod interfering, but maybe you know from your own code where to look at (what is being altered here why these bug out and the rest don't)
I understand if it's not supported anymore (1.7.10), just wanted to know!
EDIT: I compared the NBT of the player.dat before and after and it seems that these charges somehow add the generic.knockbackResistance to the player. Suggestions on how to disable it or which mod/command allows me to workaround it?
I have a bit of a problem with a Celestial Geonach that shouldn't be there...
I started a brand new world on 1.15.2 (using version 2.2.3.2). A Celestial Geonach spawned on my 3rd day, I have zero equipment to fight it so I set the min. days before spawning Rares to 70 days, and I thought "I'ma exceptionally /kill this one because it's in a really bad place."
Except /kill doesn't work, at all.
I tried killing all entities within 10 blocks... doesn't work.
Killing all entities except the player.... doesn't work.
Killing the Geonach specifically: /kill @e[entity=lycanitesmobs:geonach]
Which returns "Killed Celestial Geonach" in the chat box
But the damn thing is actually still there, right in my face....
What's the proper way of getting rid of this erroneous abomination? Thanks.
Edit, okay so restarting the server finally got rid of it.

Greetings all, I am using the mod and I have somehow tamed an Ioray. Which is fine, except for the fact every time I log out of the game and come back in. It is floating beside me in the living room of my castle. About two rooms up from the large pool/aquarium I built for it down in the basement. I think it's drowning as it sounds like it is and it's flashing a color every time it makes the sound. But it's not dying.
It does this every time I log in now. It's now stuck in the middle of a wall that has storage containers FULL of stuff. I cant remove them or the floors in the hopes it will fall back down into the pool below me.
Is there a way I can kill it or make it move away and untame it? I can't target it and I have tried to use the /kill command, which doesnt work.

How do I disable the chance to spawn when going to bed? While I'm at it how do I modify or outright disable the chance to spawn while breaking blocks?
As for the "sleeping spawn" you must enter folder minecraft/config/lycanitesmobs/spawners and open sleep.json file with notepad, and remove this part:

What hellvardzen said will work, but you can also edit config/lycanitesmobs/spawners/sleep.json and set "enabled" to false and "loadDefault" to false.
