There currently isn't I don't think but I can look into adding those options for you.
Hey! I've been having issues recently with this mod, more specifically, since updating to the newest version about a day ago, I've had non stop errors involving ticking players and seemingly something to do with this mod's mob spawning. At first I decided to test the last version before the Chaos Rat update, and I had the same issue. Edit: Rolling back to the version before I had this error still provides the same error, implying there's a mod disagreement somewhere that causes this mod to flip out for whatever reason
Looks like a MobSpawn json entry is failing to get an entity class or something, easy enough to fix in an update though, I'll make it throw a warning of what the problem is instead of crash in order to fix.
You should add your own combat into the game. Like shields that don't block %100 damage and a stamina system where being attacked while blocking would lower it, attacking would lower it and you wouldn't be able to do stuff when it's empty (Refils quickly after not doing an action) and the more recent your sleep the more max stamina you have haha... Not related to your mod but would be cool to see.

Could be interesting, perhaps something i could look at in the future, the upcoming Equipment System will be introducing a new element to weapons and later armor.

This is a tangent since you're asking specifically for this mod, but Dynamic Surroundings adds the ability boost or quiet the volume of specific sounds along with reducing their frequency, for all modded and vanilla sounds. That might help you in the short term; it does add a bunch of unrelated extras, though.

Hey I love the mod, but it simply slows my ancient computer down too much. So I want to ask this; Is there a quick efficient way to disable the mobs from spawning completely, and only have the MobEvents part of the mod be active? Basically what I want to do is to not see a single lycanite mob until an event occurs. Ive went through the configs but theyre a little vague and its hard to test with loading times reaching 5 mins every time I start the game up. THanks in advance!
As of the latest 1.19.5.X updates Aegis will let you access chests and break glowstone and other special blocks if you have at least +1 reputation with the village. You can do this by making at least one trade with a Villager.
This won't be enough - I had a good six Aegis spawn around my house(only one door and a handful of chests to qualify it as so) and proceed to "protect" the belongings therein. Had I not logged off and disabled them immediately they probably would have diced me up and spawnkilled me endlessly in my own safehouse. All the while overall spawns had been set to 45% of the usual, I dare not think about how boned someone on default settings would be trying to stay alive in their own house.

If youre open to ideas or suggestions for creatures for your mod you should add creatures from elderscrolls morrowind. they fit perfectly with the mushroom island biome as theyre from a habitat that comes with mushrooms the size aswell too while still being somewhat "natural-like" in color theme and it can be pretty immersive imo. I dont think you could run into copyright issues if you build them from scratch and say theyre inspired by them.
