What exactly does ACID do? I don't really notice a difference between ACID and your basic shaders. For now, ill use your basic shaders, but when u can, plz tell me what ACID does.e
P.S.- Your shaders are my FAVORITE! SEUS dosnt work for some reason, and urs work GREAT! Keep up the good work!
EDIT: Just noticed, when I use ACID, it says, "Invalid Program gbuffers_terrain," but it doesn't affect the shaders at all... they just look like the default shaders, even w/ the gbuffers_terrain error.

Well... Just google "minecraft acid shaders" ... That's basically it.
EDIT: Oh yea after reading through all the posts i realised that you are having troubles getting people to help you do testing and fixing stuff etc. If you want to i have an Nvidia GTX650 Ti and a Intel HD 4000 at your disposal!
All this bugs are fixed in the unreleased vibrant shaders, also sry for no answer guys I had some internet issues.but I'm almost done with the shaders, at least the base of it.

Good to hear! Haha i just love using your shaders but when it rains in game i hate to have to turn it off. Good luck with the completion and know that many ppl are anticipating for it

I tested the basic version which worked flawlessly. Get 45 fps. Then I tested the Basic Shaders v8 Regular nd my computer freeze and restarts.. That can't be good.. What's going on?
Ah preview of my shaders is released now, have fun with it!
Wow, I picked the right day to check if there were any shaders compatible with Forge and Optifine!
I'm running Pre5 on my early 2011 MacBook Pro and it looks amazing and runs stably. Not surprisingly, it brings my FPS from 50-200 to a constant 30ish. This is probably a fair tradeoff, and there haven't been lag spikes, so it's still very playable. But obviously I would like to get this running even faster if possible...
I'm wondering if I can turn off the waving grass/leaves/water while still keeping the shadows and reflections. I see you've explained how to switch most of the features on or off but the wave functions seem to be scattered among a few different files. Is it possible to turn off all of the waving?

Umm actually the fps should be better with it strange...you may want to stay with the last version then.
in the videos i saw 2 little bugs. the one by DMan557Mine, the vines go inside the blocks and the one by TheRedShizz, when the leafs move the snow on top stays still. will this be fixed or no?

Your low fps is strange getting 40fps at 1920x1080 with max. (Nvidia GTX 560). Using the stable drivers build. The bug only happens with enchanted items and will be fixed soon.

And the rose?
I'm on Linux so we can't compare FPS directly but now that you've mentioned it
I have about 25-30% FPS rate drop with Pre5 max vs Pre1.
EVERYBODY DO THE FLOP

2.66 GHz Intel Core i7
4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M 512 MB
Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 (11G63)
However, only when the weather is clear....
Please take a look at these screenshots showing the problem
Default textures, with Sildur Nvidia 1.6.2 Pre1
Same scene, default textures and shaders
Just for comparison, same scene, default textures and SEUS standard shaders 08, problem does not appear
To show the extent of the problem, the shader completely destroys playability when using a good texture pack
Same scene, LB Photo Realism Textures, Sildur Nvidia 1.6.2 Pre1 shaders
More info:
Problem only appears in your shader pack And as seen in the screenshots the waypoints from Rei's minimap mod all lose their color too
I got the shaders from here: http://3minecraft.co...rs-shaders-mod/

Yea, just open gbuffers_terrain.vsh and add slashes infront of stuff you want to disable.

Thanks a lot for your work!
Not bad at all for the first SEUS-less preview
Lack of the fog was somewhat a disappointment.
List of problems below.
The first pic in a pair is Pre5 max, the second - Pre1.
Corrupted bow texture, no details on rose texture:

GPU: GeForce GTX 650
Of course it will be fixed.
