[1.7.10] Soul Forest 1.9.75 (Ores, Vines, Dimension, Mobs And more!!)

General Info
So far it adds 29 new ores, where 6 of those generate in the overworld, and the rest generates in the new dimension called Soul Forest. In this Soul Forest Dimension you will find Laterite Grass & Dirt, Porphyry, Slate and Bauxite, my custom tree which is called the grape-tree (more trees to come). There are already some different biomes with different mobs in them aswell.
On these grape trees (I know grapes don't grow on trees, but who cares Its an alternate universe) you will find 6 types of vines (Baneberry, Blueberry, Blackberry, Cranberry, Razzberry, Raspberry, Strawberry).The world is a giant underground world with a dark-green fog color, having large pools of water at the bottom and large patches of grass on the middle-top.
To get to this dimension you will have to create a portal (same frame as the nether portal frame) but instead of obsidian you use Silver Blocks and to activate it you lit it with a Soul Lighter, like you would normally do with flint and steel.
This mod adds about 12 new tool sets and 2 tiers above diamond, more information about that on the wiki.
Also this mod adds 7 new armor sets. It also includes a couple of new weapns where one of them is The Frost Wand, which shoots frost shards (using them as ammo).
I have put a lot of work in this mod, and ANY ideas are welcome. To see my to-do list scroll down to the "To do list".
There is a gemcutter where you use a bucket of polishing liquid and a bunch of polishing towels to clean the uncut versions of the gems. As a result you will get nice clean versions.
It now also includes a boss (The Ice Queen) and a mini-boss (King Kotek) both can be summoned using an item. Additionally you will need to build an altar to summon The Ice Queen as shown in one of the pictures above.
Recipes:
There is this very neat mod called Not Enough Items (NEI) that lets you see all the recipes and usages for a certain item, so how to create it and what to use the item for. I have used the API of this mod to be able to also see the recipes of my mod so if you find it hard to figure out the recipes (cause it is hard) I suggest you install this mod along with my mod to learn about this mod with ease!
To use NEI you also need the core mod (called CodeChickenCore or CCC) to be in your mods folder.
You can get both of these on the NEI mainpage.

DOWNLOAD REQUIREMENTS :
Always install forge first and then other mods that require it.
- Forge : (i have been using version 10.13.4.1448) you can try to get newer/older versions but i can't tell if it works or not.

//- Have winrar or 7-zip. (this is not needed anymore, although it is usefull to be able to open zipfiles)
Installation :
1. Go to start and type %appdata% and press enter.
2. Open .minecraft and go into your mods folder.
3. Download forge and install it. If you don't know how: (click here for the instructions).
5. Download Soul Forest Mod file.
6. Copy and paste the Soul Forest.jar file into your mods folder (located in .minecraft)
7. Make sure you use a forge profile (To do this, create a new profile and when selected release version scroll all the way down untill you see forge versions - select that and you go to a forge profile)
8. You are ready to play.
Pro tip: If your minecraft crashes when you have just added a mod and you have multiple mods installed, start fresh and install mods one by one.

- Fixed Uranium mining level to be 4 (Steel or Cobalt)
- Fixed Gemmeration table removing enchantments from the weapon. It is now possible to repair a weapon with enchantments, but only if you are using a fully charged amulet stone.
Please report any errors, glitches or alike as soon as you see one so I can fix it right away!

Changed the dimension of BoP and this mod seems to still conflict with itself. Getting late here, so I'll try and straighten it out in the morning, but here's the ID conflict I'm getting (weird...LOL):

I really love dimension mods and these really seemed great. Really great job man, I can't wait for updates!!! Got to get to bed now, but will definitely get back to SOUL FOREST tomorrow!!
I know its on your bug list, but you need to fix that when you come back through the portal you end up in the ground thing ASAP..LOL That sucked... And my REI mini map wasn't working in your dimension, is that intended? I can see the structures an a blank grey map thats it, no terrain or entities.

About the minimap, uhm i had MamiyaOtaru to tell me that his minimap worked in my dimension which is the Zan's Minimap.
When i get to fix the portal and bucket i will most likely update (ASAP) and if it turns to night in my dimension please tell me so, because it used not to do that in the past, but yesterday it just seemed to changed to night somehow although i am not sure.
Last but not least the Water ID's are listed under "Other ID's" as I:"Liquid Flow ID"=223, I:"Liquid Still ID"=222
And as far as i can remember whenever i installed my mod with forge on my pc on fresh minecraft and stuff i wouldn't have any conflicts, so it might be that the conflict is not with my mod, but with other mods.

Got it!! I did find the water ID's hiding in 'other IDs' ..LOL I think its all Biomes O'Plenty conflicts. Tried to play this morning and had some achievement conflicts (dup. ID) had 2 of them. Again, my gut feeling is BoP. Deleting these 2 achievements from my saves seems to let me load the game but I lose other achievements from other mods (namely BoP biome finding achievements) Not sure if there are others because I went straight to soul forest..YAY. Anyways, here's the 2 crashes I got, just in case you want to take a peek and see if there's anything that can be done.

Whats them bauxite structures for? they seem to be nothing but solid squares floating around. And the leaves (on the red trees) in the black forest seem to have a extremely high durability (unless I need a special tool I am unaware of) And breaking these with shears they don't always break for a good 5-7 seconds after. (just like when I first started yesterday but worse) Bauxite bricks do this too.And it doesn't seem to go away, they break right sometimes but I would say 80% of the time they won't. But everything else seems fine.
Really great mod for your first one ever!!! Thanks for making it!! Guess I'll wait for some updates and a wiki but will definitely be keeping this around!! Can't wait to see what this magic stuff can do

uhm jeah the achievements conflict is one i am trying to change, i might have fixed it right now but i am not sure... I can tell that i now have fixed the bucket but am unable to fix the portal for now. I might update really really soon.
Well i am busy setting up a wiki (that right now holds information of some blocks, items, biomes, mobs and a little bit more (by far not everything) i shall i go over the basics : the Gemcutter [top] an uncut gem, [bottom left] polisher towel, [bottom right] polisher. the IceWorkbench holds about a ton of crafting recipes that are quite complicated thought and i will try to get them on the wiki asap (but right now my focus is on fixing stuff)
It can be that you need a special tool for those, i am not really sure what i all did with that tree xD but both of those you mention aren't completely finished. I try to make it so that this Berrycollecter has to be used in order to get the berries and all of the custom leaves, but i am almost sure that you can get the berries in other ways aswell at the moment. And by the way, you are welcome to help with the wiki if you want to. ( i have also fixed the links to the wiki on this page btw, they should now work )

- added some particles (along with a custom portal particle, blue coloured)
- added a effect when attacking mobs with Frost enchantment
- added a war axe
- added uraniumLiquid as a 2e fuel material for the gemcutter
- added custom ice block (does not yet spawn in the world)
- added soul fires to spawn in the dark caverns and the black forest biome
- added 2 wooden plank types (Soulwood Planks and Hardwood planks) and their corrosponding crafting recipes
- fixed the portal spawning you somewhere underground or up in the sky. It might still sometimes happen that a portal is created in a super tiny cave in my custom dimension.
- fixed the Frost wand, the only thing not working, is it now shoots white blocks. (they do hit their targets)
- fixed soul Bucket
- fixed mobs raredrops
- fixed ore ID's double registering
- changed pickaxe recipes (they were uncraftable as you can only mine titanium and onyx with a steel or cobalt pickaxe)
- changed the custom portal texture it now has a blueish texture
- rotated the berrycutters image.
- temporarily removed dark houses untill further blocks (stairs and slabs etc) have been added
- changed the wood type being used in the Gemcutter recipe to my custom ones (so either use Soulwood Planks or Hardwood Planks)

On another note, I lost textures for furivoli and yeti in the last update, but all is working great!! Still can't figure out what fuels the gemcutter...LOL. And still willing to help with the wiki after Labor Day Hope your not working too hard and having some fun as well!! Thanks...painter
