A FIX FOR BLACK SCREEN IN THIS MESSAGE

Not sure i don't think so because still same for me black screen of death on the displays even though everything else works.
And i don't see the jcef_helper.exe loaded in my task manger at all or even well minecraft is loaded.

edit... yes it appears it is a fix once you do get it working. See below for my follow up and fix i think for black screen.

This was all done in a new fresh MutiMC instance. Forge 1614, Java 8u121

What java are you using 32 bit or 64 bit? i see it says detected platform 64bit but not sure if that's java 64bit. I heard 64bit was working but still see areas saying to use 32 bit. but some reason i can't get 32 bit too load my forge version 1614.
Thank you very much on this but.... no date on your time stamps just time so blaze the fox still could be right on this black screen issue.

But going to check my logs and search for what you sent. and see if i see same thing. if not at least you posted where the library path is.

Not confirmed yet. but think i maybe fixed mine. will know shortly.

But i did get it to load correctly now.

I was using minecrafts official launcher.

I looked up the dll file and came across a similar error message.

They said something about a folder being in the same location as the file.(Not a minecraft thing just similar error)

anyways. I looked at your spoiler again and saw where your files were going. compared to mine going to root directory.

Which means something in root directory messing it up.

So I installed multiMC like you were using and now i see it does things different than minecrafts launcher with folders and mods. And now it's loaded and i see the jcefhelper.exe in taskmanger and now i will need to end task on when done playing minecraft. So DLL File loaded and spoiler has no error for dll file. and yes i even tried deleting all the files for the mod so it would redownload them all and that still did not work for the regular minecraft launcher.

So fix was to use MultiMC. Will post in a little bit if black screen is gone after i finish setting up everything else i need to do to log on to my server.

EDIT 3 and final edit

OK this did indead fixed my black screen and now webdisplay mod works correctly.

So for anyone who is having the same issue check your log and see if the dll file is not loading and giving the not a 32bit error message.

If so did you do what i did and used minecrafts launcher? if so use multiMC https://multimc.org/

this did fix my issue of having with staying a blackscreen when you click on screen with WebDisplays 0.11 and MCEF 1.7.10-0.6.

If you crash your using mcef 1.7.10-0.7 downgrade to 0.6.

Also in your config if you have ppp set too high that will also cause it to stay black screen

not sure what the max setting is for this that you can do if your pc can handle it.

So again try this if your having the black screen issue. Seen a lot of you out there on this forum.

Web displays seems to work again but definitely isn't compatible with the revamped curse-twitch app, or rather MCEF doesn't seem to load at all. Only getting a black screen and no MCEF browser.

How do other peoples posts following mine enforce me as having authority over this mod? It had been broken for several weeks with all instances having the same issue over all clients. I was informing people to not waste their time until someone looked in to the issue. It takes 30-60 hours per update even for very small packs. If I can help someone avoid spending 3 hours working on a mod that hasn't worked for more than several days then I am going to leave that message.

Also, the Twitch app is managed by Curse who put in a lot of effort to provide an excellent program and platform for the games they support. They recently extended the apps reach to Mac and it's the replacement for the FTB launcher so I'm not sure what you're on about. It was developed independently and is still managed by the same team.

Hi, I have your mod on my modpack along with MCEF of course and MCEF is notifying me there is an update to 0.7. Not sure if I should update or not since your mod hasn't updated. Please let me know, thanks a bunch

When I Join my brothers LAN world it works fine. But when he or I turn on the TV it crashes the Joined player. Not the host...the joined player. We have the same version things and we use 1.7.10 MCEF 0.7. Its driving us NUTS!!! please Somebody reply to me!!! P.S it does not give me a crash report so don't ask me for one plz.
