Do my graphics need to be set to a minimum level on anything for the view to render?
It could very well be that LookingGlass is doing some stuff that other mods don't like. As for the second point, you can try it out, but I doubt it'll do anything.
Are you using a Spigot/Forge hybrid server, by chance?
I want to mention that I brought the issue with lookingglass to the attention of the Thermos server developer and he has fixed the issue with lookingglass, it works perfectly on my server.

So far, I have seen this work with your security camera and your monitor (which is held) but I need something like what computercraft monitors can do, a 3x5 monitor to view it on. Is this possible and if so, how do I set it up? Can't seem to locate anything anywhere...

It's possible with one Frame, but, I'm afraid, not with more.
Install LookingGlass. Be aware that you should be using v1.8.2 of SecurityCraft with 0.2.0.01 of LookingGlass and that this only works in Minecraft 1.7.10.

Sounds cool. Cannot wait for inventory scanners to have their own inventory for prohibited items that were taken from a player's inventory. Great for specific areas of a server that you don't want griefed (you can set prohibited items to tnt, flint and steel, lava bucket, etc.)

You can't extend it's range as far as I know, though I'd love to have it as an option! It'll be nice if we can extend it at least by a couple of blocks so that it can look better in bigger corridors!

Agreed, and more functionality for the security cameras, like maybe a portable tablet to look at the cameras wherever you are. Would go great with the FNAF Universe mod that's in development.

I want to mention that I brought the issue with lookingglass to the attention of the Thermos server developer and he has fixed the issue with lookingglass, it works perfectly on my server.

This mod was recommended to me by the maker of warp drive. Essentially, what I am wanting is a Star Trek like viewscreen (one that actively updates what is in front of my ship). So far, I have seen this work with your security camera and your monitor (which is held) but I need something like what computercraft monitors can do, a 3x5 monitor to view it on. Is this possible and if so, how do I set it up? Can't seem to locate anything anywhere...

Retired StaffInstall LookingGlass. Be aware that you should be using v1.8.2 of SecurityCraft with 0.2.0.01 of LookingGlass and that this only works in Minecraft 1.7.10.
