- Fixed sounds playing on pause screens
- Added a new stance (Quadrupedal Pegasus) that plays wing flapping sounds whilst
That last one was a suggestion by huricaaan. It was a feature the mod used to have that we decided to reimplement.
Presence Footsteps should switch to the pegasus stance when it detects that MineLP is installed and that the player is a pegasus. If it doesn't though, you can select it from the F9 menu as usual.

Good to see this still up and running. Quick question, does Daggs still work on the MAtmos mod?

His website is down . It's not breaking the rules if you compile MATMOS and put it up . Besides they share a common library . Ever think of Merging the 2 mods ?

I recall Huricaaane originally wanted them to be separate, so you could have one without the other.
Honestly, I'd rather keep them separate. Also yeah, it's free for anyone else to pick it up. I don't really want to 'cause of how much stuff I already have on my plate.
Also I will be updating to 1.9 eventually, so no worries about that. We just have to wait for @Mumfrey to get the lead out. I've been able to work in 1.9 for around a week now, but no-one can produce a working mod until Mumfrey updates.

You might want to give dynamic-surroundings by OreCruncher a try , It has PF integrated . He has picked up the support and is looking into seeing how MATMOS may fit into the mod . Version at 1.8.9
I like this mod but there are a few issues with it.
The game will crash on any foreign block from other mods that aren't specifically assigned a material/sound or have a custom material.
http://pastebin.com/vCMdDkPk (Tinkers' Construct slime blocks for example - but this is probably because you also sink into the block a little)
Default sounds are still played for other players, mobs, animals, and entities.
Other than that it's a nice mod that adds some extra noticeable detail that doesn't get annoying after a while.
Make sure you're using one of the updated versions from my github. The crashing has been long since fixed for 1.7.10, aas well as the mod being updated to 1.8.9.
There's no current plans to add support for other enttities. But if I ever do it would be only for players.

All of the sounds are customisable using a resourcepack.
I think I posted a guide on writing the a blockmap as well as one with entries for a bunch of mods (TsC 'maybe' included) a while back.
If you mean just having them play their normal sounds then I think it will do that in the later versions. Any blocks not in the blockmap will use their default sounds from minecraft instead. I'm not sure about 1.7.10 versions though.

This is a synchronised build with MatMos. It will not work with older versions.
Changes:
- All players will now produce sounds. Not just the current one.
- That's it!
This was relatively tricky to do, because I don't get all the necessary data on the client. But the mod works suitably well with the approximations I put in, and it shouldn't be too disconcerting.

You can use the resourcepack from r5b, on Huricaaan's website. I believe that should still work.

Thank you for updates, Sollace. Could you let us control the volume by Music & Sounds -> Ambient/Environment? Right now it's only possible by changing the Master Volume. Same goes for the Matmos.
Btw. I noticed two bugs in Matmos - there's 'underwater sound', while swimming and sometimes loud windy sound is played randomly.
Both Presence Footsteps and MAtmos have their own volume sliders in their settings. I think the setting keys are bound to F7 and F9 respectively.
Presence Footsteps u8 for MC1.8.9 is ready to download!

Sollace, why not enable Github Issues? I want to report some issues that were from the old PF when you did not maintain it. It is these:
https://github.com/Hurricaaane/Presence-Footsteps/issues/10
https://github.com/Hurricaaane/Presence-Footsteps/issues/8 - This issue was fixed, but it is present in your version.
These issues haunt u7, not sure about u8.
I have no idea. Haven't heard from him in ages.
I've enabled issues now.
I'll look into those issues.
Edit: Fixed x2 in u8.
