First, the rite of the Sheppard was at one point four minutes. Way might have changed that, so only he can answer the truth. I think it originally boosted the rate by 5, so he may have given it a small buff.
The rite of magnetism also got a small buff, the range is not a seven by seven instead of five by five.
A Weak orb has the capacity for one weak ritual. IT holds a max of 5000, and the rituals cost 5000 each.
You can indead move bedrock with teleposers. I made a bunker with it, because why not. You can also move endportals, so thats nice.
Yes the reson the coal block disapered was due to the lightning fire. Coal tends to burn...
The reason the armour was not draining your network was due to the fact that it was unbound. Right click with any piece of armour to bind it to you.
Tip: middle mouse click is "pick block". In creative it can do two things: Place whatever block your looking at on your hotbar, or copy any item in your inventory, NBT data and all. Useful for written books and Focuses... In survival it scans your inventory for the block your looking at, and places it in your hand if it finds it. Very useful for building without opening your inventory all the time.
Void sigil allows the armour to soak void damage. This counts as falling out of the world, and some demons use it.
Armour can have more then one shard per piece. one demon shard = two upgrades. two demon shards = four upgrades.
An item, once bound, is forever bound to that player. Other may use it, but can not rebind it to themselves and it will drain the bound player network instead of there own. I recommend you leave a orb of testing in the chest bound to you for anyone who uses the map.
Once again, a good spotlight. I recommend you cover demon summoning and blood alchemy in the same video, as the two work hand in hand and both are smaller parts of bloodmagic. I also recommend you don't show every demon, only a few like the fallen angel. Leave signs or a book with the recipes to let people find out themselves, as it is meant to be a bit of a surprise. As for spells and teleposer, they could also share a video as teleposer are not that complicated(again, I can't quite do that statement justice). The spell system is going to get a rework, but for now you can still make a video on it.

Odd, I remember filling a set with shards and sigil and getting every effect a while back.... As for the armour, I can understand why that might stop drain. But sense the armour was unbound to a player, something was wrong there.. Does the armour not heal durability if it is unbound? Anyway, I'll correct the post.

Hey guys. I've tried searching though this post and elsewhere but I can't seem to find anything related to the issue I've been having. I've now created 2 Master Blood Orbs, and neither seems to be filling. We *are* on an older build of the mod (0.6.4) so I'm trying to get my server admin to update it, but in the meantime can someone let me know if it's an older issue that was fixed, or if I'm just doing it wrong?
Have you made shure they are bound to someone (preferably you)?
also i have noticed that higher tier Orbs tend to only be filled by Altars of the same tier or higher, at least initially.
I am using the tier 4 altar (made sure of that) but as for binding I'm not certain. I've tried right-clicking with it, and it doesn't do anything, as the other orbs would. blood armor accepts them as valid items, but they don't seem to have any functionality otherwise.

Yes, it really is that simple. When you start minecraft, it checks to see if thaumcraft is there. If it is, integration is activated.

After updating the modpack I was able to bind the master orb to me and start using it properly. All fixed!
Yeah the new one looks way cooler, but i liked to use the old one as my crafting table, cause it looked like a bigger better one ^^.

Slates could reduce the Ritual cost of 5000 LP by 125/250/500/1000 each depending on Slate tier All recipes would go into the ACS together with a simple Catalyst

same for silktouched Coal-, Diamond- and Emerald Ore.
- 2 of any other (silktouched) ores --> a little bit more than double of what you'd normaly get (without a fortune pick)
- 4 Waterbuckets -> 4 emtpy Buckets + 4 ice
- 4 Ice -> 4 Snow
- Gravel, 2 Sand and Waterbucket -> empty Bucket + 4 ClayBlocks
- 4 coal or charcoal -> 16 ink sacks (or custom black dye)
- 4 seeds -> 12 wheat
The actual ritual would be build similar but be able to do actual transmutation

Can't think of any good recipes, but a failure should have a chance to spawn an Abomination or do taintlike nasty stuff.

As for my choice of Ritual Stones:
- Air and water represent flowing from one solid state into another
- Earth is a solid frame
- and fire stands for smelting,energy and change

also you might have noticed the similarities to the Ritual of Binding...
change whatever you like or don't like but having something like this might be worthwhile.
As an addition these rituals may reqire Itemframes or a special block (if you may) with the used items imbued to a Slate.
The Tier of said Slate should be either proportional to the rarity of the inscripted item or the success rate of the ritual.
The Item Slates may also have to be repaired in a Blood Altar to keep functioning properly and not be destroyed.
I hope I could at least inspire you on ways to further integrate alchemie into Blood Magic or other cool stuff.

Alright, I now need to face the ender dragon... but I have an extra challenge for the fight: Kill him without destroying a single healing crystal.
My plan is both simple and complex. I plan on harvesting end-stone to make a battle platform, then jet packing to a distant corner of the end and building said battle platform. Then I will set up teleposers to move the dragon to said battle platform to... well battle. He won't have any crystals to heal from, and I won't need to break any crystals.

"But!" I here you say. "You can get bedrock in blood magic!" Yes, but you can telepose it! By moving it piece by piece you can build the cage. Best part? You can have more then one wither in the cage.
Not, this is fairly balance breaking. It is very hard to set up, but once it is up you never need to tend to it again.

It took me a LONG while to get where I am, but things seem to be picking up speed now. I'm just stuck on this blood shard thing I don't know how to obtain them. I have managed to ***** myself to a third tier altar and I'm just stuck until I figure this out. I need these weak blood shards to move along. Any help is GREATLY appreciated

you need to craft the ritual of Binding and bind a Diamond Sword with your own blood... And kill Everything with IT! ... Atleast until you get 1 .... 1 is enough... But still... Killing things ? why not do that :/

You forget, the wither has "Crunch". It can break ANY block other then bedrock, even reinforced stone. I know this due to a few.... "Accidents" in a test world. Force fields would work, but I wanted something that didn't cost power to run. And the wither keep glitching in the field, but that is besides the point.

Due note, however, that some rune are multiplicative, there effects are stronger the more you have. But yes, you can remove an old rune and replace it with a new one without any penalty.

btw the Nether already has a Bedrock Roof... Using a Piston to move the wither into the bedrock will make it suffocate... not use crunch... or explode.. Already tried this but not in the nether.. I just placed 3x3 Bedrock with the Wither Suffocating.. his not even fighting.. That solves your hardwork of making a Bedrock Box.
btw the Nether already has a Bedrock Roof... Using a Piston to move the wither into the bedrock will make it suffocate... not use crunch... or explode.. Already tried this but not in the nether.. I just placed 3x3 Bedrock with the Wither Suffocating.. his not even fighting.. That solves your hardwork of making a Bedrock Box.
Not a bad idea..... Nice cookie cutter plate of bedrock.... And I have always wanted a nether rooftop home.... But I prefer a full room, so there is no chance of disaster.
Tip: You can easily find aura nodes on the roof of the nether. That is, if it has not been fixed...
