Name all the types of blocks that didn't have it's own diagonal variant. Now all of them will have. And the best thing is: you're going to have white, yellow and blue variants(aka yellow or blue colored arrows etc.). It will be much better.
Hey I know this may be a bit of a late post, but I was wondering, as I couldn't find anywhere, are there crafting recipes for the blocks in this mod? My friends and I are currently playing a modpack which includes this mod, and we are planning on creating a road to connect our houses but we are doing it in survival and we can't find any way to make your blocks.
Sorry, I tried to update it to 1.7, but most of my code broke, and I don't have any free time to work on this mod that's why it is dicontinued. I wanted to upgrade it to 1.7, but then I saw that 1.8 and instantly started crying because my mod, with how it's coded now, is dead^2.
Hi guys. It's been a while, I know. I've been really busy lately and I want apologize to all of you. Firstly, I stopped working on this mod because I had no time to update it because I started high school. Secondly, I know that I've disappointed a lot of people by doing this and I want to say something about this mod. When Mojang released the 1.7 update, it broke my rendering code, so I had to do it from scratch and then when 1.8 was released, I wasn't able to do anything with my mod because I would have to start the mod from scratch, for the 4th time(1st time being the first version, 2nd time being the 2nd update and 3rd time being for the 1.7 release). All of the code I had(and currently have) isn't usable at all. There are few things that are useful, but it's only about the blocks' names and other properties. Now that 1.8 is released I have to redo the rendering code + everything else. The thing is, rewriting the rendering code for more than 1000 blocks is really hard and I need to find a new way to update this mod. As I said 6 months ago, I started working on a sequel: Traffic Stuff Mod II, which would break previous world saves(aka 1.6 worlds wouldn't be compatible with 1.7 worlds), but a month after that I quit because(guess what): HIGH SCHOOL. If you would like to play with this mod again, please reply and write your thoughts on making the sequel.
Ok so here's the thing. I've been kinda overthinking whether I should update this mod or not. Well I have to say it I enjoyed playing it myself but even though it was coded on a basic concept, I made huuuuge mistakes that made everything more complicated for me to update it. I will try and do my best to update this mod, this time with an even easier concept. The worse part about it is, I'll have to break all of your save files, for the second time. Thoughts?

I myself don't use this mod, and I havn't, but after looking it over, Now I want to! I don't think that people will mind if it breaks their saves. Worst comes to worst, they can just use MCEdit to copy buildings they've made, put in place holder blocks, and then go back in and fix it after you update! (this also looks it would be amazing with Flans mod, ya know, with proper roads :D)

Thats ok with me . I would be willing to start over for this mod. In fact I think my city would be fun to rebuild if this mod was brought back to life for 1.7.10 .

Could you add roads that slowly incline and like bridges ans street lights and signs ? That would be awesome to man ! I really miss this mod and its one of the only mods missing in my 1.7.10 pack
There are 2 reasons why I am not planing on adding roads that are slowly inclining:
1) Doing that would break the Minecraft style. It's style is blocky a very pixelated. I already broke it by having textures that are 256x256, so adding sloped blocks would make roads nicer, but it wouldn't feel like it's Minecraft.
2) I already tried playing with rendering techniques and rendering them would be a hell for me to code. Not their shape, but the lighting would get extremely broken.
However, there is a chance I make them, if I learn how to use tile entities and become more advance at rendering.
Signs and street lights, and also traffic lights, are all planned after I'm done with basic blocks. Not that many are left, but considering that the mod will be started from the scratch again will make it more difficult. For now there are at least 50 blocks that I'm yet going to add.
UPDATE TIME!!!! No not like a downloadable update, but like, idk, news? Aaaanyway
- added blocks with colored top textures (colours: white, yellow, blue; more coming if needed)
- added 13 creative tab (1 for "normal blocks", and 12 for blocks with colored top textures, for each colour and block height)
I'll be uploading pre-relases, which means it will be out just for testing, publicly, buuut I wouldn't recommend actually building huge projects since I might do something that would break world saves. I broke my own in the past 4 days about 15 times XD
The only thing is I don't know when I'll upload a pre-release, probably next week. I'll see when I'm ready to put it out!
Please reply ASAP.
Thanks,
KingGnome
