I use Forge together with LiteLoader but on the main title menu the Minecraft logo has a black rectangle behind it. I am pretty sure the problem is LiteLoader.
First try resetting Optifine to to default . If that does not work , you will need to update your Graphics driver.
I face the problem for monthes and keep 2759 forever isnt a good choice,i think.
So how "Create a Liteloader Profile and Chain Forge b2759+ to Liteloader", I have read this workaround on github but still dont known how to do, should i add args in laucher ? BTW:I use HMCL as lancher https://github.com/huanghongxun/HMCL/releases

Install the latest Forge 2772 , then run liteloader-installer-1.12.2-00-SNAPSHOT , choose install liteloader (recommended)
click on the Extend from : box and select , forge-1.12.2-14.23.5.2772 , then click OK at bottom . Exit . Put all your Liteloader and Forge mods in
.minecraft / mods / 1.12.2 / directory .
Make sure that the liteloader.jar from before is removed . Then you need to check your modpack as before , for compatibility and new updates
thanks,it works.but still curious about why manully installed liteloader works wells while auto installed liteloader by laucher do not, the laucher i am using actually do the same thing actually.

The issue with using the Liteloader.jar as a Forge mod with builds 2760 + , was fixed yesterday by Lex Manos . Just wait until a new Forge build is released .
To answer your question, I think most Mods are on hold until Forge Mixin gets updated.
Patience grasshopper.

FTFY I don't depend on Forge, I depend on a toolchain which includes (up until now) LaunchWrapper (a Mojang product written by cpw) and ForgeGradle (a modern build toolchain which was designed for Forge but is basically the contemporary MCP) and Mixin (LiteLoader's core which was extracted and improved to power Sponge and other mods).
LaunchWrapper has been supplanted by ModLauncher (a new project written by cpw to address the shortcomings of LaunchWrapper) and I am having to update Mixin to support it. I am also folding in some internal improvements to the structure of Mixin in the process, since the adoption of ModLauncher has necessitated some significant changes anyway.
All this is taking time, LL will come to 1.13.x but it's just taking time. We haven't had changes of this magnitude in recent years and this is taking considerable work to achieve.
I'd heard/read/was led to believe that Forge was causing major problems with LL (MoreCommands and countless others too), even late versions of 1.12.2 and I thought until that was resolved you were holding off any LL release.

TY for this news and updating us. <3 Helps to keep the patience.
So i have to ask because i haven't found anything not even on the home page. But i might have missed it some where. Has this loader been discontinued??

In the future please post OS and system specs.
How do I reset Optifine? I play on a Mac
delete optionsof.txt in .minecraft directory or From game buttons , OPTIONS / VIDEO SETTINGS / OTHER / RESET VIDEO SETTINGS
But it looks like a Video Driver issue

MoreCommands too?

I know/knew you don't require/rely on Forge.

The forge issue was fixed a while ago. Forge broke a contract, so the undid it.

edited 29 Nov 2018 13:05 PST I hate it when I'm wrrrrr.
I just downloaded and opened the latest recommended Forge (2768), extended that with LL and named it MC1.12.2F(forge)L(liteloader)-2768
Opening it without the MoreCommands Mod works. There is an updated MoreCommands (https://onedrive.live.com/?id=77B5E138E468EDE3!2391&cid=77B5E138E468EDE3) that works sort of...
Any world created before updating MoreCommands will crash without creating a crash report.
I created a new world and with the updated MoreCommands that too works. How do you spell PITA?
Thanks to everyone that supplied input.
Lou
