Will you add a work around for the new mcmmo "Afk fishing" prevention? I have to move my mouse about 8-10 blocks away from the original fishing spot in order to bypass the afk fishing prevention

"Fishing AFK/Exploit Detection" - exploits? It's not exploits or cheating. Troyboy50's Autofish should clearly be part of official Minecraft IMO. And who is taking the week or so it takes to manually level up in mcmmo fishing? Furthermore, all servers I know is nerfing mcmmo rewards and increasing the needed efforts. He is just making the mcmmo unusable.
"players losing small amounts of hunger and durability"
"fishing in the same spot"
"to catch fish unusually fast"
"casting the fishing rod too often"
He is probably indeed talking about the Autofish mod. Is it even possible to build an AFK autoclicker fishing machine without being blown to pieces by the mcmmo TNT trap? You could put a block between yourself and the bobber to avoid the TNT but then your autoclicker spot would be obscured I think.
That sounds great for fabric. Rift worked right out of the box for me in 1.13. Not so for fabric in 1.14 unfortunately. I can't get it to work with the two fabric mods I tried with mineshafter. Can you please publish a foolproof guide on how to install and configure fabric?
Make sure you install the Fabric API too. You just drop it in your mods folder. I had the same issue; it seems strange to me this isn't bundled with the loader.

Probably not, there would just be too many factors to consider for the mod and it's entirely dependent on your fishing location. If you really want to try and get around it you would probably be better off with a script with the Macro/Keybind mod or AutoHotKey so you could adapt it to your needs. Not sure what the extent of the "exploit detection" is (by the wording it seems more geared toward auto click spamming setups) but I'm thinking simply strafing left and right across a few blocks would do it. I'm not a big fan of automatic hindrances like this because I feel it gets in the way of legitimate players too (who fishes for extended periods of time and moves 10 blocks away every time they cast?). Seems like something you'd be better off moderating manually. But the reality of it is that the majority of server owners are not okay with people afk fishing and it's entirely within their rights to try and prevent it.
Autofish 1.14 is here and it's now using the Fabric Mod Loader since Rift is essentially dead. Sorry for changing it up so many times but the modding scene is going through a lot of shifts right now. No idea about the future of LiteLoader but Fabric seems here to stay and updates come very quickly.
Note that Autofish for Fabric has the Fabric API bundled with it, so no need to download the API separately unless you want to have it there for other mods.

• Updated to Minecraft 1.14
• Now using the Fabric Mod Loader
Updated with a couple of bug fixes for 1.14.2. If you had issues with the clearlag feature then this will fix it. The previous version technically works with 1.14.2 as well.

• Fixed the chat pattern feature not working at all
• Fixed an issue where the mod would recast if the user already manually recasted
Since the Minecraft Forum is shutting down, everything is moving over to the CurseForge page. This will most likely be the last update posted on this forum. I'll continue to be active with updates and answering questions over there.
Hey troyboy50 will you be doing a Fabric version for ChuckBorders or is that mod pretty much dead?
I'm nearly finished with a Fabric version for 1.14+. Can't guarantee a 1.13 version since it would be a lot of extra work. I'm wanting to add a couple extra features to make it useful since Minecraft now has most of the functionality built-in, but not sure how much will make it into the first release. If you've got ideas let me know, so far I have an improved Auto height setting which sets it to the height of the closest block below the player instead of directly at the player's feet, and I'm wanting to do the vertical lines that F3+G has.
It will be updated on the forum before it shuts down and I'll have a CurseForge page up before then too.
I Have been using this mod for nearly 100 hours now and i have gotten 0 mending books on the best possible rod, could this be related to the mod?
Definitely not. By design the mod does not touch loot tables or modify any vanilla mechanics in any way (which is why it also works on servers). All it does is essentially send a right click when a catch is detected.
hi guys did i did something wrong i launched the minecraft version and i dont have a configuration when i click "v" and it also doesnt work i tried with settings>controls but its nothing there. any help?

my version- 1.14.2
Is Fabric loading correctly? You should see "Fabric" at the bottom left of the main menu. If not then you're installing it wrong or using the wrong profile.
If Fabric is loaded, the mod isn't installed correctly or you somehow grabbed the wrong version.
Beyond that I would need to see a full startup log to see what's going wrong.
I can't thank you enough for such a life-saving mod! Auto-fishing is banned on the server I play on and fishing all day can get so boring! Thank you!!!
Hello Troyboy50, I would want some more informations for the instalation of the mod because i'm not very familiar with the .minecraft's files and I don't have the mod folder that you are referring to.

You probably need to create the folder manually. Just name it "mods". Make sure you have the loader installed correctly as well.
Mods don't get read/loaded properly if there isn't a mods folder, this applies to Forge, Liteloader I'm pretty sure, Rift and Fabric. Forge or Liteloader is usually what people have used a mods folder for before Fabric for example so it would have usually generated a mods folder or people usually recommend you create one then put the mods into that folder. If you not using any mods from 1.13 or 1.14 or are planning to use an older versions like 1.12.2 then put the mods into those but 1.13+ mods Forge, Rift, Fabric don't use the 1.12.2 method of version folders. Or just disable them but put them out of the way so you don't get confusing besides what the file names version numbers say.
So I downloaded the mod, put it in the right place and everything, and then found that liteloader/ a different code i had didn't work. What do I do? Also the control section for liteloader has gone and has been replaced by the auto fish button (v)

It would help to know which version you're running on as a lot has changed over time. 1.13 and onwards no longer uses liteloader as it's no longer maintained.

Thanks for highlighting this!

You can find the downloads for Fabric here. (Click "Vanilla" if you use the default launcher).

Is there a way for this to have support with Pixelmon (Pokemon Mod)?
