Open the GUI while on the server and see if there's a red message about it.
I don't see a red message in the GUI. The autofisher was working in the same server a day ago but now it isn't reeling in catches or recasting anymore.

That's odd, any chance I could get a console log of your startup and possibly after you log into a server? The only thing I can think of is that somehow the packet transformer (which is needed for multiplayer detection) is somehow getting messed up. Since I'm unable to replicate the issue it's pretty hard to find out what's wrong.
Is it possible to get a 1.7.2 version of 0.4.4, the server I use wont be updated until 1.8 releases and the 1.7.10 version doesn't work on 1.7.2.
There really isn't a huge difference between the two. For multiplayer the only change would be for the "no break" option which isn't a game-changing mechanic anyway. It really is a lot of hassle having to go between versions, the only time I support outdated versions is when there's a problem that hinders the mod's normal function.
I like the idea, but I really don't want to use LiteLoader, as it needs to modify the Jar file. I know i can just get another profile on the launcher for minecraft, but that is beside the point. If there was a Forge version I'd try this out in a heartbeat.

LiteLoader doesn't touch the jar at all. In fact you don't even need a separate LiteLoader profile if you use Forge, you can just extract the LiteLoader jar from the installer into the /mods/1.7.X/ folder and Forge will load LiteLoader (this also works the other way around).
CLAG (becoming more and more popular) seems to break this. When CLAG goes off, it removes anything on the ground in the vicinity of players, including the fish, and bobbin.

I can add a feature to detect the chat message it displays, but more than anything it's the server owners' faults for not putting fish hooks on the exclusion list for the types of entities cleared. Even if you're not autofishing it's an inconvenience to have the hook disappear every few minutes.

Agreed, and thanks, that would be very helpful. Fishing interruption was one of the main reasons I looked at this, clag detection would pretty much make me use it all the time.
Been trying your mod the last couple of days, must say I like it. Especially the multirod and the not breaking, now that we can repair rods.
There is one thing that I have noticed that might need some TLC. When fishing with a non enchanted rod, there were many times that just before the fish got to the bobber, it would recast. It did this several times, but with the lure enchantment, it did not seem to be a problem.
Could you put a toggle for turning off the reset timer or a way to change the 45 sec delay time? This may be the problem BudderFish is having of only catching 1 fish in an hour.
Using this mod is much better than building a redstone-autofish-machine that breaks your good rod.
any idea on how to add the Mod to a MultiMC instance?
I haven't used MultiMC, but it was my understanding that it had built in support for LiteLoader. I would assume you drop it into the mods folder like any other mod?

The recaster can already be disabled in the GUI, and you can change the time by going to the config file in /.minecraft/liteconfig/common/autofish.json and changing the "recasttime" value (note the time is in milliseconds). I don't really know why a few have had issues like BudderFish's; for multiplayer I only test the mod on a regular local bukkit server and have no problems myself, so it's pretty hard to troubleshoot. I can only assume it's a server-side issue like lag or a plugin because it seems to work fine for most people.

It is compatible with Forge. The mod requires LiteLoader, but both LiteLoader and Forge can be installed at the same time.

can you make the mod more accurate pls?
1 fish in an hour in multiplayer is kinda bad...

Thanks again for a great mod.
