Red Gear Core is primary a library of classes used by most mods created by Team Red Gear.
What Does Core Do?
By itself, Core does the following things
-Changes Glass and Ice blocks, making them "solid". This means
--You can place torches, redstone dust, snow, levers, track, and such on them
--Mobs will spawn on them
-Changes Cactus to make them NOT destroy items.
-Option to make water finite.
-Registers a few vanilla items and blocks to the Forge Ore Dictionary
--Coal Ore
--Iron Ingots; Blocks
--Gold Ingots; Blocks
--Emerald; Blocks
--Diamond; Blocks
These are configurable. All transformers can be changed individually, although the registration is all or nothing.
Install Red Gear Core
Download and install Forge
Download Red Gear Core
Place the .jar file into the "mods" folder.
Go down to the "Red Gear Mods" section of this post and install any number of those mods, and have fun.
Core Changelog
2.1.0
1.7.2 update.
Updated APIs
Removed UE API. I'm going all RF from now on.
New "safe" cactus transformer. Activating it will prevent cacti from killing item entities, making them usable for traps ect. Defaults to on, can be disabled in Transformer.cfg.
lots and lots and lots of behind the scenes stuff for all the mods that you'll never notice.
2.0.5
Updated UE API.
2.0.4a
Fix small derp.
2.0.4
Fixes MetaTileSpecialRenderer to not crash on server side.
Updated Thaumcraft API.
2.0.3a
Fixes tiny but important issue.
2.0.3
More dedicated server fixes.
Some additions and fixes for Brewcraft.
2.0.2
Possible fix for Core not working on dedicated server. Not 100% sure fix will work.
Small fix for machines that have fluids aka Liquid Fuels machines.
Small fix for item registration. Small, but VERY important for 1.7 update.
2.0.1
Fixed up some Localization stuff
Fixed fluid creation and textures
Fixed inventory losing buckets.
Fixed ProgressBars freaking out sometimes. (Maybe)
Removed residual code.
2.0.0
Reorganized all mods. This one is a big update, so be prepared for issues.
Renamed mod. Chemcraft is now Red Gear. This is to represent that I (LordBlackhole) am no longer working alone, but am beginning a new team.
This means that pretty much everything is different.
Moved configs to new folder, RedGear instead of Chemcraft.
Took out snow changes. They'll be going back into Snowfall where they belong. Glass and Ice transformer is still there though.
No longer requires Java 7. Java 6 should work now, although I wasn't able to actually test it.
Fixed/Improved/Tweaked/Changed/Added tons of stuff that users will never see or know about, you'll just have to trust me that it was worth it.
Updated APIs and this time I was super careful to not include any files unless I absolutely needed them, so that should help cut down on the number of API update's breaking things.
Probably about a million other things that I can't remember right now.
Please note that this change from Chemcraft to RedGear means that older Chemcraft mods won't work with the new RedGear Core. The good news is that it should be possible to run the old Chemcraft Core and new RedGear Core together at the same time (as long as you turn off the Transfromers for one of them) until I get all mods updated to RedGear.
1.5.9
Updated Builcraft and Universal Electricity APIs
1.5.8
Fixed bug related to snow with latest Forge update.
1.5.7
Added Buildcraft and IC2 API BINARIES. I accidentally used the source files last time. *face palm*
1.5.6
Added Buildcraft and IC2 APIs - you can remove them if they cause any problems.
1.5.5
Fix for snow on leaves
A few other fixed and additions for Liquid Fuels and "others".
1.5.4
A few additions and fixes for Geocraft and More Backpacks. .... And The Usual Liquid Fuels additions.
1.5.3
Fixed Manifest.
1.5.2
Fixed a few bugs
Added some things for Geocraft update
1.5.1
Fixed a few bugs
Added a few things for the More Backpacks update
1.5.0
Added Finite Water transformer. Defaults to false, but if enabled it will stop water sources being created by adjacent sources. Water won't be infinite.
Added Chunk Relight transformer. Defaults to false, but if enabled it should cut lag caused by Minecraft trying to check the lighting. I haven't noticed any ill effects, so I might change it to default to true later.
Merged Snowfall transformers into Core. Lots of changes to snow elements. Snow layers will grow when it's snowing. Snow will melt one layer at a time, Ice can have snow on it. Others. All default to true.
Added transformer for Geocraft. Can't actually be disabled at the moment.
Yet more code for Liquid Fuels. It's close to a beta, it really is.
1.4.2
Updated to Minecraft 1.6.2
Lots of changes and additions, but nothing users will notice I think.
1.4.1
Fixed annoyingly dumb problem with the .jar
1.4.0
Reorganized packages.
Changed configuration format. Configs for all Chemcraft mods will now be saved in a new folder called "Chemcraft" inside the config folder. THIS MEANS THAT IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR CONFIGS YOU MUST RENAME THEM AND MOVE THEM INTO THIS FOLDER! The configs themselves are unchanged.
Wait, except that the configs for Glass and Ice transformers have been MOVED to a new config called "Transformer.cfg" in the same folder. There is a good reason for this. It's kind of complicated, but let's just say it might help compatibility.
Some of you might notice "Chemcraft Network" in your mods list. As far as I can find, core mods can't also be network mods, hence the need for a mostly empty mod to handle networking things. Pay it no mind.
Even more code additions for Liquid Fuels, as well as some stuff for a new mod, Geocraft, which should be up as soon as I crush one more bug.
1.3.1
Added code the register a few vanilla items to the Forge Ore Dictionary. These include Diamond, Emerald, Gold, Iron, and all the block forms of these. Mostly only useful if you use More Backpacks. Can be disabled in the config.
Added some other code used by More Backpacks, mostly for scripts.
More code for Liquid Fuels.
Update only effects More Backpacks.
1.3.0
Lots more code for the new Liquid Fuels. Lots more to do.
A few other tweaks and changes.
1.2.0
Made Glass and Ice solid change configurable. Default is true.
Absorbed more code from More Backpacks as well as adding more for a new mod in development.
1.1.0
A few code additions and changes to account for a new mod: Securecraft
Updating is only needed if you want Securecraft.
The source code for all RedGear mods is publicly available on GitHub here.
Make sure to read the license first.

1.3.0
Lots of new code, none of it used in released mods yet though. The real reason for the update is that I noticed that Mediafire flagged 1.2.0 as "corrupt" for some reason. I don't know why, I don't know how, and most importantly, I don't know how long it's been like that and why no one told me. If you're having a problem, tell me about it. I can't fix problems I don't know exist. Anyway, I figured it was better to release the new code I've written rather than re-upload the older stuff. This should work with everything else 1.2.0 did (as of right now) but if I'm wrong, please let me know so I can fix that too.
In other news, Robocraft is coming along slowly, mostly because I've been working on other projects, but I did make a break through this past week in something that had stumped me for quite a while.
Liquid Fuels is my main focus right now, and most of the code I've been writing is IN core, but FOR Liquid Fuels. I'm testing out gui's, tiles and block stuff. It's really going well, and once I have the ground-work done, it should be relatively easy to create all the new stuff.
That said, I could really REALLY use some help with the art. Right now my blocks have "missing texture" written all over them. If you or someone you know is a good pixel artist, I'd appreciated some assistance.
For more info on the changes to Liquid Fuels, check out the thread and see my post about it.
Securecraft is getting an update today, I'm adding those Emerald pressure plates like I promised. I also tried to get the diamond and smart obsidian pressure plates to activate their doors, but to no avail. I'll probably try again later. Not sure when I'll get around to making the chests, but I will eventually.
Snowfall and More Backpacks are both in a state of "done" right now, and I don't have any plans for them, except perhaps to update More Backpacks' other mod items.
I have contacted Mediafire and have already gotten a response. If they do not fix this within a day or two, or I have this problem any more, I will switch file hosting sites. In the meantime I apologize to anyone who cannot download the mod.
Secondly, your clearly inept understanding of the English language fails to describe even the slightest detail of what your problem is. I have some quite basic questions for you:
A.) Which mod were you using? Because Chemcraft Core is well, a core mod, and is NOT designed to be used alone. You could, but that would be pretty pointless.
B.) What did you not like about that mod, or what problem did you have, or anything else to describe your situation?

It doesn't work for me, I'm using a mac as you can see in pastebin. I have Java 6, I downloaded Java 7 and 8 but it still doesn't work, any ideas?
