Yeah! This is the ONLY (only) proof of it, though. I think you could probably try to take advantage of the steve animations by applying them to her model, but you may have to twist it a bit, and I honestly have no idea how you would do that.
I want to find what version of minecraft it is, it have 0.30 and a score: 0 so yeah
It must be Survival Test and/or 0.31. You can find a bazillion downloads for those versions everywhere on youtube. Just be careful which ones you download because some contain viruses.

Survival Test has no MD3 mobs at all, they were added already after that.
The first available 0.31 already has Steves, and a separate Rana model is available.
The second one has no MD3 at all, but has unfinished main menu screen.
Would it be possible to add a Giant spawner? Techinically it is a removed and forgotten mob but for whatever reason it's still in the code. All you need is the spawner.

Spawner can spawn whatever mob you want. If you can add creeper spawner, you can add giant spawner as well. (With map editors)

I meant like the egg-type face spawner thingies that are in this mod. Like Rana's face spawns a Rana and so on. In the Rana Mod tab it would have all of the current modded mobs plus a zombie face that spawns a giant.
Is it just me or is Steve's animation faster than that of Black Steve and Beast Boy? It seems to go a bit more smoothly while the others are in some sort of slow motion.

Unless Fourwad changed that, it's random.
EntityLiving class has a 0.31 leftover: animation speed field.
I know Exalm already did this, but it would be nice to have a human who doesn't want to punch me in the face and eat my liver with chopsticks. Like a certain crazy wavy arm drunk dancing Steve guy except he could be spawned with an item instead of G?

I'll ask Exalm, if i can update his "crazy wavy arm drunk dancing Steve guy" mod
also, i've been learning about MD3 animations, and i think i know how they work, now i just need to animate rana

I was thinking of adding a slider to set the speed of the animation, with a button underneath it for random

Sure
Actually you don't need his permission. He already gave it to you and... Well, everybody. It says right there that spawn human is public and anyone can update and use it (if credit is given, of course)

It is updated. It just depends on dev SSP, so it's not in the OP there.
However, since you use Forge, alternative version may be good idea. (Like with SPC and SSPC)

Well, i could always try to animate rana myself
Could you add 'Credit to Exalm for the animations' or 'Credit to Exalm for help with the animations' in the main post
Sure thing!

EntityLiving (Vanilla):
RenderMD3:
And in 0.31:
net.minecraft.a.b.d:
net.minecraft.client.a.a.g:
(It's incorrectly decompiled by JAD, but Fernflower can't decompile it at all and just skips this method)
It is completely unused now. I reused it for the speed. It may look weird, but it's the original behavior.
I was thinking of adding a slider to set the speed of the animation, with a button underneath it for random
