I WOULD download this mod if it wasn't for tekkit,seriously ferullo? not everyone uses tekkit especially a lot of mod people! come get me when you make an ACTUAL download... thumbs down :/ this sounded really cool too...
What is the problem with using tekkit? :L If you can install other mods, you can easily download the Technic Launcher. F3rullo is just making the mod more open for people who might not be able to figure out how to install it. There is no reason why you should have to forgo this great mod because it is simply easy to install.

Really love this mod! Wish you could add characters from TWD (The Walking Dead) into this mod, like Rick. You could make him nice and have a gun and axe and you can trade with each other, and you have to find them in woods and plains... and make dismemberment possible, and they bleed. And the head must come off to kill them, unless killed with a gun. And maybe make the guns more aimable and accurate, like a button to steady breathing.
Guys, stop rushing him, he is working on the mod, and im sure that he is going to release a new version soon.
One thing though, I just wanted to know if anyone had made a custom map that is compatible with this mod. It would be really cool to have a city to walk around in. If not then it would be appreciated if someone made one

1. I would die of thirst because i couldn't find any water bottles from generated structures so i made some glass bottles and filled them up but that wouldn't work so I was repeatedly die of thirst.
2. I could not find ANY generated structures. I looked everywhere even in creative and i couldn't find anything
3. I never saw a single zombie. There were no zombies except for normal mine craft zombies, and this is the zombie apocalypse so they should be much more common.
4. I wish enderman, creepers, slimes, skeletons, and and the nether shouldn't have as many mobs because it would be nice if this were somewhat realistic.
Heres some things i would add:

I don't think you set the world generation type to "Crafting Dead". Click where you usually would for superflat and large biomes, but instead click until you see it say Crafting Dead. If nothing works, you installed it wrong or your technic launcher isn't working right. BTW, I'm not sure if he can add Rei's Minimap, because the creator of it has the rights to it.
Well, I have to say this is one of the single greatest mods I've ever played. I've seriously spent way too much time with it... I do have a couple suggestions though. First off, have you given any thought to something like randomly generated villages? I like the randomly spawning structures, but at times I also think it would be cool to run into a group of buildings that are the size of NPC villages. Also, I'm not sure if this was the same mod, but I played another mod called The Crafting Dead several months ago, and it wasn't nearly as feature-filled as this. However, one cool aspect of that version was survivors in SSP. You could randomly stumble upon NPCs that would help you fight off zombies. I know this is probably too much to ask, but would it ever be a possibility to get survivors in this mod that you could give guns to and they would fight alongside you?
Those are just a couple suggestions I had. They definitely don't need to be added to keep the awesomeness of this mod! I absolutely love it. Great job!
I would like to suggest some additions.... I very much enjoy playing this youknow kiloling zombies and shooting guns but how bout more...? like different types of zombies and more guns and more types of foods and drinks
i think that guns should be less common because almost every chest i find has a gun it it or you should be able to control the spawn rate of items in chests. i would like a bigger challenge

he does have a premium account, when did he say that he didnt? tekkit doesnt work on the latest versions of the mac for some reason, and we cant use tekkit to install this mod. it sucks, and i agree with him, there should be a regular download for this mod.
EDIT: i messed with the files, and got it to work on my computer, although i dont know how i did it. i still think there should be a regular download though

when you create your world, you have to make it a crafting dead world, in the "more worlds options". it is the one after "large biomes" i think
Hey man AWESOME mod but when I play it get boring with the same small structures. So my idea is to add CITYS ya CITYS. There could be three different types of citys; town, city, and metropolis. Each would have different size and loot.
I am a decent map builder I would not mind building them for you.
its a nicely made mod. there are a few kinks that it needs to become worth playing in the long run. here are my ideas. im sure most of you have though of these before me anyways.
-zombies should be more in tune with each other. (if one sees you, all within a certain distance see you. that sort of thing.)
-zombies should be a bit faster and maybe stronger or there should be ALOT more of them. (they are just a little bit to slow to be very threatening, and they do so little damage its almost insignificant. but they DO NOT need to be walking beef sticks either. find a medium. work with it. if you want zombies in a game to be threatening there are only three ways to go. making them VERY strong, making them VERY fast, or just plain making a Load of them. the last is my favorite. its called the hording effect. where there is one, there are many. if you make a zombie game like that, you hit the bulls eye.)
-zombies need to react to sound in some sort of way. ( whether its walking towards a gun shot from far away, or violently attacking the player that shot. the idea is to make guns powerful, but costly. right now they are just powerful. make the players regret shooting after they do so.)
-infection chance when eating or drinking water, but not for sodas or bottled water. (giving sodas and bottled water a much needed edge over canteens. think about this, why would anyone carry around 4 soda cans that take up space, when they could just carry a canteen around and refill it? the only logical answer to that is because of infection chance with water drawn from a source.)
-it may just be me, but i think the zombies hit length is just a bit to long. you cant safly hit them with an axe or knife. (i may be on purpose, i dont know.)
- zombies should begin to hold or wear things sometimes. (armour, guns, ammo, soda, food, water. the reason being, so it makes it worth it to kill them. )
-GIANT ZOMBIE BOSSES. they always make things more interesting. (or some type of infectious zombie type boss. maybe nightcrawlers during the night time hours? to clearly distinguish night from day in the ways of complete terror. >:3 ones like spiders that can climb walls to kill you? or maybe spitters that blind you temporarily? )
-the ability for zombies to break blocks. (there is a mod already made for it. the zombies will slowly break through blocks, sand and dirt being the fastest break times and slowly increasing with the block. the only thing i think they cannot break is diamond and iron blocks. maybe gold. idk. the rest they have the ability to break through like wooden doors, but much much slower.) ill explain the reason why this would be needed, in single player or online, its just to easy to set up shop in a little fort and go out for supplies every so often. adding zombie break would allow zombies to make your once permanent home very temporary. also, when building you will have to think about things like secondary escapes routes through your building. you will hopefully think twice about just making a hole in the ground for the night.
- i like the random buildings and whatnot, but maybe randomly generated cities would be nice. you could connect them all with streets that players could find and follow. then everything else just kind falls into place. destroyed cars randomly generated, maybe with chests in they're open trunk that you can loot. things like that. maybe a official map for the mod? i have quite a few ideas so if thats the way your going to go, just contact me.
-if you do implement cities and things, the zombie spawning needs to be centralized in and around the cities more densely and slowly getting less dense the further from the city you go. same with loot, better loot in and around the cities, slowly getting worst or less of it in general as you head out. because if this game ever goes online, the way you want the game play to proceed is people heading towards the cities in search of items, making the cities more dangerous than the world around. also these cities would be great spots if you wanted to start a gang of bandits with your friends. just walk around and rob people.
-this is "the crafting dead mod." and with that said, maybe you can spawn up items broken down into they're smaller pieces you so have to craft the item? if you go this way you should make crafting benches very rare outside of the city, and unable to be built. i don't know about you, but i don't feel like its real if i find a fully put together ak 47 and two clips inside a cabin in the woods. it just doesn't feel right. i should have to work for those guns. putting them together and maybe repairing them every so often with a repair kit.

I love the modpack, but I am having a few bugs. First of all, sometimes when I look at a zombie, it despawns. Second, I cannot go onto LAN worlds (I don't know if you didn't add them or if they just aren't working). Nextly, I suggest adding crating recipes for hunting knives and melee weapons (not guns because that would make the game to easy). The breaking legs mechanic is a good idea in my opinion, but I would suggest adding say, if a zombie hits you, there is a chance it makes you have nausea or poison. I also have a bug where when I reload a gun, even after loading several clips, it's still empty. I hope you can read this, and I actually made this account just to suggest these things, as I love this mod so much. Thank you!
Would be awesome if you added other survivors that help or something, maybe like minions idk, it would be more realistic. Also I found it very easy to survive, only died at first but then all I was doing was hiding out in a hospital... Maybe add like zombie raids or attacks where hordes of them come...
